I guess one reason why RO1 is considered better than this or other new-ish games is because of it's simpler graphics. Everything else is over-animated which may cause some computers to hang up.

I remember not-so-good computer always freezes up while playing RF online.

Also sad but true the only thing keeping ragnarok around are the private servers -.-

I think it's just me but the reason WOW is so popular in the US is because they try to keep other games out of the market

Graphics are not weak I thought the Graphics on RO2 just fit perfectly the animation on the characters matters more than graphics, seeing hair blow in the wind flop around, skirts flop around, gear flop around counting on how you're moving really hit the spot on RO2 but really... the game lacks in content, and gameplay, controls are nice but combat itself is just pure awful. lol

The music sounds retarded. The graphics are so-so. Seen better, but also seen worse. Doesn't seem to have the same depth as the old game (where quests seem to stretch on forever and are practically stories on their own), but that might just be because this is a particularly cheesy trailer that shows happy people wandering in the meadows. If its anything at all like RO1, it'll probably have more dark/damp caves and scantily clad NPCs. xD

2. the game is good, but hardcore RO fans will be disappointed when you see whats inside the game itself.

3. FYI, im playing RO2 right now in private open beta. i am in the philippines, but the lag time is bearable. this game is slated to be released in the philippines on March '08, and there's a lot of things to watch out for.
