I already cut on this clip alot.....but holy shit this is probably the worst thing ive ever heard a professional play in my life..It's demonstrates noting, it lacks value of any kind. It's pretty much just a mockery of latin rhythm and J.P. should be ashamed.

The headphones do 2 things: cancel the loud drums so he doesn't become deaf and provide a click AND/OR bass and drum monitor. But these guys are pros, so I'm sure they can play perfectly without a metronome.

I have these tapes, the bass is a Sadowsky.

It looks like a rosewood fingerboard, but I'm not sure if the body is alder or ash.

I'd love to know.

I wouldn't mind owning a 5 string in this configuration.

Italians are of Latin descent, if I'm not mistaken. As are French, Portuguese, and Spanish--and just west of them are the Carribeans, Central and South Americans too--which are mixed with natives and African. Hence the rhythm and dancing. I love the world for being so culturally diverse but similar at the same time. One thing all Latins have in common, though--FOOD AND WINE!  Bravo!
