still longing and waiting for Goong 2 with the same casts like the first one. JJH and YEH, such a great couple. They really look good together. Hoping that MBC will find its way to continue and pursue the season 2/sequel of this drama, especially now the release of JJH from military service is getting nearer. It will be a good comeback project for him after his long rest from acting.

The thing is... though it sounded so promising, the whole announcement and stuff about suing Group Eight was wayyy back in the late 2006 (dec). Later, both Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Jeong Hoon had disputes with Eight Peaks and they withdrew from the company in around sept 2007 (i know YEH withdrew in sept, not sure bout KJH). Then.. No moore news :(( With withdrawal of 2 mains (but actors can still work with companies they're not in right?), probably no more sequel and it's 2010 now T.T

In the end, it was ruled that both companies had rights to the title and thus the name was changed to Goong S.
Anyway, to all those curious about Goong 2, this is what i found out from going through the posts in jjh-yeh forums:

He went on with his wish to make Goong 2 and contacted the main casts but because of various conflicting schedules and whatnot, only Kim Jeong Hoon (Yul) officially agreed to it.
I think it's kind of irresponsible of them to stop the production of Goong 2.. I mean, it seemed like they created the ending FOR a sequel so it's really disappointing for the fans!!!

@tourneygoldhyacinth If you search on google there are many sites that you can watch it on, and it's on youtube but I haven't found any that are good quality.. Also, season 2 was to happen, but it never aired because of both YEH and JJH had conflict with the production company and withdrew.

I really like Joo Ji Hoon's personality even if he did drugs or w/e (I think a person has his own reason or problem to do something like that...) , he has charisma & I wish to see him again on TV after his military service.

so sweet.. i can watch this drama over and over again.. cant resist SG and CG.. and i prefer the plot at the 3rd place.. it sounds kinda sweet and the director can add something on it like theres some complication in their marriage life or whatsoever.. im hoping forward to see the next season of PH.. and at that time HR comes back with a rival plan towards SG and CG.. well maybe im a dreamer but hope it will come true..! <3 SG and CG

JJH was arrested for illegal drug using. He was given suspended jail term and community service. He already finished the service and will be enlisting in the army by the end of this year. So we'll see if people forget and forgive his incident 2 years later.
there is no Goong season 2, if I'm not mistaken it because YEH was quit from her company or agency *i dont know exactly what is it* because there are some parts that she doesnt agree, moreover JJH involved into drugs scandal, so exactly there will be no season 2.
maybe its really disappointed, but we have accept it :( I really love Goong, this is the best korean drama I ever watched *besides Full House and BBF* :D

so sweet.. i can watch this drama over and over again.. cant resist SG and CG.. and i prefer the plot at the 3rd place.. it sounds kinda sweet and the director can add something on it like theres some complication in their marriage life or whatsoever.. im hoping forward to see the next season of PH.. and at that time HR comes back with a rival plan towards SG and CG.. well maybe im a dreamer but hope it will come true..! <3 SG and CG

I dont think there will be goong 2 cause YEH changed her managing company, and that JJH went to the army and will only be back in 2012? (Sighs, hate it when korean actors have to go army). But I dont mind if they want to have goong 2, i will definitely watch it !

Waah~ I wish they were a real couple... Cuz if they were, JJH might not have done the drugs. Cus he did drugs the first time when he was drunk and the second out of fear. If he was dating YEH, he might not have gone to...wherever he was to get drunk, and not have done the drugs!!! gah! but there wouldn't be a season 2 neways. cus Yul and YEH didn't agree :T

JJH was arrested for illegal drug using. He was given suspended jail term and community service. He already finished the service and will be enlisting in the army by the end of this year. So we'll see if people forget and forgive his incident 2 years later.

there is no Goong season 2, if I'm not mistaken it because YEH was quit from her company or agency *i dont know exactly what is it* because there are some parts that she doesnt agree, moreover JJH involved into drugs scandal, so exactly there will be no season 2.
maybe its really disappointed, but we have accept it :( I really love Goong, this is the best korean drama I ever watched *besides Full House and BBF* :D
I hope there will be season 2 with the same actors when JJH out from jail :P

Goong 2 did not happen b/c she quit it was b/c they never really plan it out and stuff and other actor are busy with their own acting (so basically only one or two agreed in doing G2).. YEH quit b/c Eight Peaks took things into their own hands by canceling some kind of show with Eric b/c they want her to do Goong 2 with out asking her first!

I miss Goong so much, even though I barely started watching it 2 weeks ago and I'm on episode 23 (so I skipped the first part of this)! I don't want it to end. Does anybody know about the drama they're going to be in? Personal Taste? Isn't there a drama for Nana? Maybe that'd be okay...I can't find anything as good as Goong!
