Celeste Holm, who plays the grandmother is excellent in this show.....She is an old school actress who has been in Hollywood many years......I love all of her work.....
I loved promised land when I was a kid and I still love it now! I would love to get them on DVD or VHS if their avaiable! If anyone know where I might be able to get them please let me know! Thanks!
One of the last 'family' shows I'll consider still watching (since I'm now a 21 year old action/crime junkie). "7th Heaven" was good for about 6 years but this was better!!!
One day while the show was still on the air my dad and I were at Perkins looking at the cars drive by and I swear to God an identical truck and trailer went zipping by. We died laughing.
Thanks for posting Promised Land videos. I love the "on the road" stuff and this was the best of those religious shows. Way better than 7th heaven. I hope they'll release PL on DVD in the future.

Oh man I miss this show!!! I never got to see much of it! My family watched Touched when I was younger but my ma always thought this show was a little too older for me. Bummer. I should have taped the PAX reruns!
