Hunters is awesome for green or younger horses. Gets them ready and prepared to go to jumpers. Its actually not that boring since there are sooo many things to concentrate on other then just getting over the jump and fast.

The jumps are 2'6". Thanks! Lots of gymnastic and grid exercises help to develope the correct muscle toning and build needed for accurate jumping. It also teaches them to jump rounder, or have more bascule, and to jump "square". These types of exercises will teach a horse to "rock back" onto their hocks. Teaching a horse to thrust themselves by rocking back onto their hocks, creates a "spring", which propels the horse off the ground, Therefore creating a more correct, prettier, jumping form.

my trainer has always said that if you can't get it over the jump, always do it before the turn xD too many vids i see on here where people swap their leads AFTER going around the turn on the wrong one

no we just couldn't afford to do the show, the pie clinic, and the fairgrounds show all at once. so ,instead of letting me choose, my mom told cassie that i wasn't gonna do river run (which REALLY pissed me off >:( ). and yeah, thats basically what happenned in a nutshell. i'm just to lazy to type it out a billion times.
