Thank you for your videos. I am doing ok now with the fpdc but my pattern says- hdc 14 miss on hdc then fpdc in the next hdc, then fpdc in the missed hdc- at this point I am not sure what to do. Any help wouldbe appreciated.

Why does everyone crochet holding the hook downwards. I hold with index and thumb more upwards. Am I doing it wrong? The end product looks the same so I guess it doesn't matter how you hold it.
