You can't beat a Fender standard Strat for the money. I always figured I'd eventually buy something more expensive, but...it plays nicely, sounds good, and I get the tone I want with this guitar and a Boss GT8, so I am sticking with it.
It is only a lead guitar solo, which I composed myself. You hear the Police song playing as the backing track, but that was done in my studio, on my equipment...it is not the original recording that you hear.
As far as the sound, this is going directly into the PA through a Boss GT-8, with a little reverb and a 430msec delay, basically. Using a Soldano SLO 100 amp model. A few other little tweaks in there until it sounded "right" to me. The tone setting on the guitar also has a significant effect with the other setting I use, and it's the bridge/middle position.
I love the sound and feel of my little Fender Mexican-made Strat. Not bad for $429.
I'll be playing in Minneapolis this summer. No specific dates as yet. My website address is at the upper right of this page, in the video description...

dRaK0RaMone,
This is not a cover of the complete Police song.
It is only a lead guitar solo, which I composed myself. You hear the Police song playing as the backing track, but that was done in my studio, on my equipment...it is not the original recording that you hear.

Thanks dRaK0RaMone.
I have no plans for touring outside the United States in the near future, so I won't be in Peru too soon. Maybe some day.

Really good, awesome playing, and wonderful sound !
Your style is just between Knopfler and Mike Oldfield according to me ;)
Which guitare/amp/effects are you using?

Wow! That's great guitar playing...don't hear enough of that good stuff these days. I can really hear that classic Knopfler in your style.
Where are you playing next?
