  • 港人路過來ADD OIL

  • TITANIC! Love it :)

  • very nice soundtrack have one U2 song. I hope after next April election she is Prime Minister of Burma.

  • I just think some of the parts should be well-researched. Maybe it's just me but some of the scenes just don't match with what I've heard. Like the part where General Aung San was shot, he was shot with a Tommy gun but in the film it's a pistol. And also the part where Aung San Su Kyi was being pointed with guns they were in a sort of deserted area but I heard that it happened in the city with a big crowd. I'm not sure but I'm just sharing what i know :) But it's a great film I'm glad!!

  • I hope to watched in Thailand !!!

  • @shantiram2 seen it already it's already in cinema in Thailand siam paragon gor mee na ka

  • @shantiram2 and also China

  • So this doesn't look like Besson's usual grl p0wer films. Still about a female hero, though no of the physical "asskicking" category. Although I wouldn't be surprised if she does start whiping the floor with a bunch of bad guys. It's Luc Besson, maybe he tries to fit Milla Jovavich in there somehow as some asskicking bodyguard, who knows. I'll still see it, looks great.

  • GRRLL PWWRRR!!!

  • Are people from my country stupid? Do they not know what the upside down flag mean? Damn people!!!

  • Just a scene of The Lady walking up the stage and get the microphone with a snap of millions supporters.

HELL YES I GONNA WATCH THIS !!!!!!!!!!

  • go michelle!!! go burma!!! this gonna be great movie

  • i got chills all over

  • Very good

  • That current flag should be replaced by the original flag or Peacock. This is military government flag, that's why we put it up side down.

  • i like myanmAr

  • Cette bande annonce me fais des frissons. Magnifique musique. Hâte d'aller le voir.

  • garrr~!!!! how's going burma flag??? @@`

  • i'm curious, if majority of people in Myanmar are supporting her, then why not try to fight back?

  • @youmetube1991 we fought so many times

    read the history

  • @youmetube1991 Uh oh, we wish it were that easy to fight them back. It was the military power on the other side. Just take a look at what happened during 1988 when the civilians tried to fight back the military government.

  • seriously confusing since those old burman flag look like taiwanese flag at first.. but yeahh..go michelle yeoh go aung san suu kyi!!

  • can't wait to watch... Michelle Yeoh is very brave, five stars for her!!

  • Dear All,

Young boys & girls borne after 1988 did not have well knowledge about 8888 crisis and Junta government U Ne Win (General Ne win) who tried and made Myanmar Country to poorest country of the world. The flags hoisting upside down was indicated people were against to the Socialist Government. Don't forget the struggle time all Myanmar people were suffering in hungry and starving due to the policy of Socialist government. Everywhere those flags hoisted upside down even at my house.

  • @eric201268 Dear Eric,

I was born in 1989 and I think we can speak about BURMA for long time with you. I've been there several times and have a lot of burmese friends, speak the language and of course, respect EVERYBODY (that's the most beautiful think I've learn from the Burmese people) and thats why I really don't like the way you treat me by your sentence "young boys & girls...". Please learn about respect if you really like this country.

    Blessed love from France

  • Michelle Yeoh can get the Oscar Nominee, but due to the film’s creators mistake by some goose bumps she may fail and lost her dignity. The worst things are that the most precious flags of the country are showing upside down even in the trailer. Is it sabotage or put it in the purpose? Or by mistakes?

None of them can definitely be excused, even though the screen writer is the famous Luc Besson.

God save the Lady as well as save our Burmese Flag!

  • wrong side flag,,!!!!

  • I've seen other trailers for this movie and it looks real good. Can't wait to see it. I hope this film will give Michelle Yeoh an Oscar nomination!

  • watching the trailer already give me a goosebumps, i hope one day Burma will be free from the regime,Good luck Burma!

  • Upside down flag's used as a symbol of protest.

  • yap why the flag upside down. its look super odd.

  • chaingtung

  • Why is the flag upside down?

    Lol

  • What on earth is that epic trailer intro from 'Europa' .. so nice ...

  • PROUD TO BE BURMESE :D

  • It's time everyone knows how much SHE has sacrificed for our country. I hope you all can sympathize what has been happening in Myanmar. One thing, I'm dead sure I won't be able to buy it when the movie comes out. Whatever, it's not like I don't have connections in other countries! ^_^

  • cool soundtrack!

  • I can't wait to watch this movie....

It's make me feel very exciting & i am really love her...

may be this movie let the whole world know the country of myanmar!

I am very proud of her.

    .

  • 8888 !!!! THe Lady !

im proud of being burmese :)

  • I'm from thailand but this amaze me.

  • I see Aung Sang's Pic (Suu Kyi's Father) too.

    at 0.37

  • I believe the flags are meant to be upside down as a form of symbolic protest. I've just watched a video on metacafe.com where a woman speaker from the Burma Democratic Concern appears alongside an upside-down Burmese flag.

I just wish some of you commenting on here would do some research before posting premature criticisms of the film which has yet to be officially released and viewed in full.

  • 0:35 why are all national flags upside down? or it means something???

  • @wangtianthu It mean demonstration. To represent the country is in a mess.

  • mwhahahah

    wtf

first i was like omg i am soo gonna watch

and then im like why is the flag upside down???

anyway i hope this movie gets lotss of nominees

  • If you were born to be human, you are all had the right. Furthermore, I wish Michelle Yeoh get nominee for the Oscar and earn her trophy in her born to be this role. ^♥^

  • They hold the flag upside down! what the hell is that?

  • @kyawthetoo1991 - It's a protest against the current government.

  • This trailer didn't give me a wish to watch this movie....

  • Is our country flag being upside down in this movie trailer???

  • aung san suu kyi free now!

    Good trailer.

  • epic unlike the gov now XD

  • Hey DiscoBoyGagaStick, hope you are enjoying humid Singapore! Ms Suu Kyi represents all Burmese: an enduring strength beneath those fragile smiles. Keep it up guys.

  • Support To Our Country :)

  • If she leads us , she will bring the whole new level of our Mother Land (Burma). I'm Burmese and I'm proud to be the way i am. Long live Mother Aung San Su Kyi.

  • this just gave me the chills! XD

  • The Lady from our Country....

thank you eruopa, thanks to the director

    Thank You YOUTUBE.

  • The power of cinema upon a story that has needed to be told for many years! I hope it reaches the hearts and minds of the world and paves a new way for the people of Burma.

  • This trailer gave me goosebumps. I'm a Filipino wishing our Burman brothers freedom and democracy. Our country struggled too to have the democracy we are savoring today, I'm sure the Burman people can do that too. I believe that everyone deserves a life free from the dictates of a government.

  • BLOODY COOL MOVIE!!!!! Cant wait to watch it.

  • I'm from Singapore but i'm always interested in Myanmar's political issues esp Ms Suu Kyi's endless fight for freedom. So to all the gentle Burmese out there -don't give up, keep on fighting guys.

  • Thank you! We will keep fighting!

  • @bukuku i'm from myanmar but i'm studying in singapore right now :)

  • Oh I can't believe, I didn't know that they made a movie about my Idol, oh I am soooo thankful...Suu ki is the greatest Lady, she is my Ghandi !!!!!

  • That final shot just screams EPIC!

  • This Trailer gave me chills and made me cry and mind you i didnt even know who this amazing strong woman was....WOW!!!! Now that's a LADY!

thank you who create this movie

  • we are proud to support "Aung San Suu Kyi" hope this movie is gonna be Fantastic! cheers to all the people who support her.

  • Isn't the name Myanmar now?? People of the country shouldn't make this mistake. It is disgraceful to the country

  • @NousheenZoarder Myanmar is the name given to the country by the military dictatorship, which is why many other governments and people reject the name, preferring Burma instead.

  • @Varekai0723 thank you Varek... i didn't know about it...:)

  • @Varekai0723 This is something new.. Are you a burmese yourself?

  • @NousheenZoarder I still prefer people call me BURMESE and known as I'm from BURMA.

  • when this velvet revolution could happen in China

  • please tell me they purposely put the the flag upside down!

  • @oOAyeKhineOo During the 8-8-88 protests, many people flew the flag upside down as a form of protest to symbolize the national distress: netipr.org/8888/a_brush_with_anarchy_by_asiaweek

  • @DanielKhinLay Thank you for clarifying. I was also wondering why the flag was upside down. I'm also from Burma but of the younger generation so I didn't witness the 8888 Uprising. I'm looking forward to this film!

  • My heroine :) but why is the flag hung upside down? :o

  • She's a remarkable woman.

  • Very powerful trailer. It made me think the film about Gandhi that shows you that a man or a woman alone with the sheer force of his own devotion and determination can reverse all dictatorships. It's a lesson for all of us!

  • A Country, A Power, A Destiny, The Lady! what an epic intro...

  • Looks good.

  • I'm from Burma!
