It is still Call Of Duty. They only cut Call of Duty out of the name so it reads Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward has never worked with treyarch. They worked with Activision. Treyarch and IW would switch out every other year. Activision carrys the COD title. They have only cut it out of the name. so it doesn't read Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. but it is infact still a Call Of Duty series
