  • @busquets28 Nothing better than the Creatures and Lick It Up albums!

  • I wish KISS would bring this song back to the live set...but it'll never happen.

  • Thumps up if you want Eric Carr to Respawn :D

  • Creatures of the night is so underrated! One of the best KISS albums ever!!

  • hell yeah

  • Robben Ford on lead guitar awesome!

  • Creatures of the Night = 1 of KISS's best albums

  • ERIC CARR is now in rock and roll heaven.

  • eric carrr best ever!! "dan iron maiden final frontier"

  • They should play more of this stuff live...instead of insisting that all that people wanna hear is Deuce, Strutter and the same ol' old...seriously, I'll never buy tickets to hear that ...or any box set either for that matter. If I really need a fix, there's you tube.

  • ....rubbish, talentless, money fleecing jewish bastards! Kiss my ass you jewish money grabbing ugly fuckers!! YOU SUCK MAJOR COCK!!

Shut the fuck up. Nobody wants to hear your anti semitism.

  • 6 people can go straight to Hell.

  • I found out this song was written about Ace Frehley, I forgot where I saw that though :?

  • @lightningtap347 Its not written by ace.Its not written by kiss at all.Somone else wrote it and gene simmons wanted the song but demanded to ad a few extra verses to it,just so he could get he's name on the credits

  • @leiefilm then wikipedia is highly wrong haha

  • @lightningtap347 Nah, he's right. It was originally written and performed by Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Look it up!

  • @MajesticLizzard You're all incorrect, this song was written by legendary songwriter Jim Vallance with some help from his long time songwriting partner, Bryan Adams. Kiss needed an injection into sales on albums and at the time, there was no one better at that than Jim. I have followed his entire career. He is amazing, He saved and rejunenated Aerosmith too with all their later hits, RAg Doll, Otherside, the list is huge. Anyway, now you know. He wrote this for BTO first, then Kiss did it!

  • @lightningtap347 nope, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance wrote it in 79 I think, and it was recorded by Bachman Turner Overdrive

Simmons later insisted on writing a verse or two just to get the credit

  • eric carr awesome and gene simmons of course bitchin!

  • This is one of the top 5 best duran duran songs ever. Way to go Duran duran

  • rip eric.

  • The executives of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have their heads up their asses! Fuck the RnR HOF!!

  • So all you guys talkin' about Vinnie Vincent should know that he was only one of several guitarists that played on Creatures of the Night. The Lead guitar on Rock And Roll Hell and I Still Love You was Robben Ford.

  • Vinnies my next door nieghbor and he will not talk about this album or the creatures album.

  • @kapnkrusty1 - dude, are you serious?

    you're one lucky guy

  • i gues man o war get the idea of the song from this one hehe kiss is awsome

  • this is by far they're best song!!!!

  • Thanks to Vinnie Vincent Cusano Kiss was back on the map in 1982-1983 !!

  • The best KISS song that you'll never hear in concert, except for bootlegs and actually owning the Creatures Album/CD.

It's sad, this song is pure pwnage...but will never get the light of day.

  • Best KISS song that no one remembers.

  • best song i heard all day

  • WOW! i never heard this song! WTF!

  • KISS yes...love this song....this album...this band...they are truly not recognized but the rock and roll hall of fame...what a fucking atrocity....oh well...at least me and all the other true KISS fans know they mean so much

  • r.i.p eric carr u were the greatest !!! KISS is the all time greatest band!!! all kiss fans no that!!

  • This is one my favorite Kiss song!

  • R.I.P ERIC CARR <:'(, we all miss you

  • The first KISS sing I learned to play on bass. And then War Machine.

  • Ahh i remember when this song had 80,000 views, i was hoping kiss would get more popular now-a-days (like in the 70s) and a month later 20,000 views on a song like "ROCK & ROLL HELL" thats amazing.

  • a great album where Simmons contributed with great songs that can match to the singles

that's not the same with some other albums

  • siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Kiss !

  • Co-writen by Jim Vallance and Bryan Adams, believe it or not.

  • @Oafah War machine as well I hear.

I couldn't believe it. I love these two songs

  • Eric Carr (RIP) was one of the best rock drummers ever and one of nicest guys you could ever meet. Way much better drummer than Peter Criss. Unfortunately he was never treated as a full member of KISS. After Peter and Ace left, everybody else in the band was and is so called salaried musicians.

  • This was strange era but Creatures of the Night is great album. I love this song.

  • @matotuHELL this is my favorite kiss album..eip eric carr....i still love kiss today ,,i saw them and thet are fantastic..

  • @camarotoro Yeah. I saw them 23. 5. 2010 in Prague. Really amazing. And yes, RIP Eric Carr.

  • Get me out rock and roll hell...

  • even the word epic can't describe this song its so good

  • didn't BTO play this song first but i rather their version better, nothing against KISS

  • creatures o/t night is their best album I believe Vinnie Vincent is the best guitarist kiss have ever had Vinnie Vincent made me learn to play metal guitar I play electric guitar since 1984

  • is that gene singing?? im not really huge on telling who's singing what

and i believe Eric was The Fox

  • @skate4life654321 yes it was

  • @skate4life654321 Yes that is Gene. Eric Carr was the Fox.

  • is that gene singing?? im not really huge on telling who's singing what

  • So if Peter Chris was the Cat man whats Eric Carr?

  • @DukeVolmont The Fox

  • @jobjacco kk Thanks

  • Song to make you angry. Love it.

  • BEST. BAND. EVER.

  • ese de la cruz egipcia se ve crazy

  • can't help but wonder if they wrote this song about Ace since he left around this time.

  • @Superpepsiman20 KISS did not even write this song on their own it had already been written and recorded. was written by Jim vallence and Bryan Adams (not Brian Adams) for Bachman Turner Overdrive in 1979. They talked to Gene and Gene added an extra verse to get co-writing credit. Jim and Bryan also wrote the song "War Machine".

  • @Superpepsiman20 considering it's not their song i doubt it.

  • who sang this?

  • @chidorikill Gene.

  • @chidorikill Gene sings this

  • GREAT SONG

  • Long live KISS \m/ (><) \m/

  • kiss rules and im in a kiss tribute band we start october 31 so if u mant to see us just reply to me and we will play rock and roll hell and were going to play on stage with kiss maby :)

  • that axe bass just dominates all the poser asses all over the world that thinks theyre hardcore.

  • I have never heard better drum sounds, this album gets ten points!

  • I saw them live 2 times, not too good... Wont be a 3rd. Retire and let us remember the few good songs you do have, please.

  • love this song

  • This Album Was genes moment

  • This song is sort of a 'rewrite' of the version Bachman-Turner Overdrive did in 1979 for their "Rock n Roll Nights" album. This is written by Jim Vallance.

  • This should be a KISS concert staple. This one would absolute kick ass and rock like hell live !

  • Was this on Creatures of the Night or Lick it Up cd?

  • i will pay a million dollars to see 'i wanna rock and roll all night' in memphis. gene simmons you rock

  • underrated album?

I think most KISS fans LOVE this album

If I think of underrated albums...I would think of The Elder

  • This and "Saint & Sinner' are my favorite songs on this album! there is a sertain feeling I get when I listen to Gene's songs on this album... I can't explain it!

  • YEAHHHH ROCKKK!!!!!

  • This song owns, Gene Simmons is brutal.

  • ...yeah but Simmons only owns 10% percent of it, just ask Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance

  • @TooSlim73 that would be war machine that bryan adams wrote

  • You need to update their Wiki page at the very least. A lot of KISS fans consider Adams and Vallance "gay" songwriters.

Adams and Vallance wrote more than one KISS song] though. I'm a fan of most of them, KISS has to many come backstage and phuch me songs. It get's old, quick.

  • hell yeah

  • I would die happy if KISS played this on their next tour. Creatures is such an underrated album

  • You are absolutely 1000 percent correct. This is one of their heavier albums that didnot get the respect it deserved. I remember calling a radio station and asking why they wre not playing cuts from this album when it came out. Their response was that KISS changed their musical style so much that they didn't know where to place them. What kind of lame answer was that. All they had to do was listen to the freakin album. Like most stations I think they had a thing against KISS. Well, KISS LIVES!!

  • Definately. Kiss needs to do another album like this. Sonic Boom was okay but I wasn't too impressed

  • Remember, Sonic Boom was a throwback to their earlier roots with a modern spin to it. Let's not complain too much or we may not ever get another new album from them (ha ha). I would, however, love for them to do another album as heavy as "CREATURES". KISS, as you already know, can kick major ass when they want to.With songs like Unholy, Within, Strange Ways,Hotter than Hell, War Machine,Rock Bottom, Jungle[the list goes on]. What do you think of Carnival of Souls? I think it is also underrated.

  • Carnival of Souls is my second favorite album by them, (the first being Asylum)

  • yea i heard 1song and i was like oooh k.

  • i agree. the sound and the guitar playin on it is really great.

  • @shockme91 Well sonic boom over europe is busy I was there in Arnhem!

    It rocked bumhole!

  • @shockme91 Their best album...no doubt...

  • @shockme91 The best KISS album released. When I first heard the album, I knew the KISS army was for me.

  • @cenation2810 well the song isn't really kiss's song it's cover with a few changes

  • @shockme91 I agree it is a highly underated album-its still one of my favorites in their catalog. People can dog Kiss for being too glammy or too showey/and yea they were at times?..But these guys were putting out an album a year there for a little over a decade? Cut an album-tour-come home and then cut another album Thats just called workin like a motherfucker. You can never say these guys were lazy or didn't mean business when it came to a work ethic

  • @TheStaticage01 --I've never heard this song it's great..or i dont remember ..i've seen KISS twice...first time i was 15 &Eric Carr(RIP)&Vinnie Vincent was w/them...I agree with you a/b they worked like crazy touring 9-10mnths out of the yr EVERY year for YEARS on tour BUSES..no private planes@that time..Amazing work ethic...gotta give them that...people will dog KISS for any little thing now it's their age...so what?? They can still do it as the GREAT Alice Cooper can I say more power to them!

  • @firechick66 Yup!

  • @shockme91 Yeeh!! I agree with you there - one of the most underrated hardrockalbum ever! An intresting thing is that Bryan Adams wrote this song! Ithink he also wrote "i still love you"!

  • @shockme91 they sould play the whole album that would be fucking sick just do a show with this and revenge

  • Let me say without a hint of exaggeration or pretentiousness that every line in this song is about me. The story in this song is perfectly autobiographical!

  • This was the group that first introduced me to a heavy sounding music. I still remember the time when my brother and I first listened to it in the mid-80s and were really entertained. My brother became a metal-head from that point.

  • Comment removed

  • This should be added back to the setlist...

  • Heaviest track they ever did. Absolutely SLAYS. \m/

  • THE DOG IS A GOD. Rock God.

  • awesome song, heavier than anything on COTN, unmasked or dynasty... but why did Paul wear a sports bra? His alternate costume for this era was a KISS-logo tank top... not even full sleeves - budget cuts were showing

  • @Defender78 na man creaturse of the night was such a heavier song this

  • This song was on Creatures of the Night, did you get into daddys wine cellar before you posted that?

  • gee vfg, freegin sorry! I meant to say COTN was hev'r than anything from the solo albs! My bad, dog!

  • Dog!? I'm not your dog!

  • this song describes today's rock xDD it's a rock n roll hell :P

and my life at home... o:

  • Metro Station, Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy...

Dude, you're absolutely right about that

  • muy buena rola de el disco cretures of the night , el mas vendido durante los 80 cuando KISS EMPEZO A TENER PROBLEMAS CON LOS INTEGRANTES

  • Aun asi no se rindieron! KISS NUNCA MORIRA! ARRIBA LOS KISS! EL MEJOR GRUPO DE TODA LA HISTORIA!

  • yeah its a good tune. as far as co write go i disagree on using that word.but i get what you mean its not that.just think co worte is a strong word for what he did

  • Suddenly it dawned on us. Gene was trying to tell us, in not-too-subtle terms, that KISS wouldn't record our song unless his name appeared as a co-writer. The choice was obvious: we could share songwriting credit (and royalties) on an album that would probably sell 10 million copies, or we could have no songs on the album at all.

  • Ace did not play a note on this album, but its a great one.

  • hi sweden from michigan

  • una delle mie canzoni preferite

  • DAMM THOSE TOMS SOUND LIKE THUNDER

  • i fucking love this song. it's probly my favorite from the album, or at least up there with war machine

  • are you aware that the songs is a cover?

it never eblong to kiss it was made waay back.but gene called the guy and said he liked the song and wanted to play it,but i need a new verse(just so gene could get credit for it)

  • great album creatures of the night

me and my friend listen to this album when we have our "listen-to-records-nights" we can sit up a whole night just drinkin coke and listen to records =)

this album is a definetly choice! sorry my spelling sucks but i am from sweden.

  • Don't worry about spelling, great rock n roll translates in any language.

  • It's Vinnie Vincent on more than half of this album. Ace is not present at all.

  • I heard that "Rock and Roll Hell" is about Ace Frehley.

  • It is not. its not even a kiss song.they borrowed it from someone else and gene aded a new verse so he could get credit for it.

  • Creatures is a masterpiece. To me it's pretty much the definition of what true Hard Rock should be.

  • I thought it was Vinnie Vincent playing lead on this album?

  • A few different guitar players were involved, mostly Vinnie Vincent & Bob Kulick.

  • it is, but they gave the credit to Ace

  • Didn't Ace played on I love it loud?

  • i know he did in the video, but i'm not sure if he helped record it. i think that was vinnie too

  • I love how during Robben Fords guitar solo he holds that note at the end it sounds bad ass.

  • Did Robben Ford do the lead guitar work on this song?

  • Yep

  • bryan adams co wrote this. can hear his influence in the chorus.

  • I pretty much agree with the general consensus. Great KISS Song...probably the most underrated KISS song!

  • Amazing song! And people say KISS sucks! They don't know what they're talking about.

  • @SergeantMatt13 thats what people at my school say, they say KISS is gay and that stuff

  • @FireBreathingBunnies Paul Stanley gay yes lol but kiss still rocks

  • @bcancun123 i dont think ant one in KISS is gay except maybe tommy thayer
