I'm confused. Did they call the Peek a smartphone?

yea he did.... hes got his facts wrong.... the ONLY thing it can do it email... idk if it can do text even.

it is sort of like a smartphone. the main things that smartphones are mostly made to do are check email and text. and it is a cell phone, it connects through the cellular networks. all a cell phone is is a wireless communication device that connects through cellular networks (e.g. GSM, CDMA)

But it's not a phone. It operates through a cellular network (T-mobile), but it does not have the functionality of a phone. Thus, one could say it is a cellular communication device, but not a cell phone or a smart phone.
