you should really read a book on the 'BASH' shell. find is a unix command. if you wanted to search for a specific file you could issue... find . -name "name of file". I would also change your root password if your phone is jailbroken. At the shell issue.root passwd. It will then prompt you to change the 'alpine' password'. You would want to do this because everyones password is the same and if not changed after jailbreaking anyone can hack your phone pretty easily.

The ipod runs a unix variation? cool! This isn't pointless at all, you may be able to run unix native apps? To exit, try 'exit' or 'quit' I don't remember which. I think it's exit, but I don't know for sure -atleast for unix/linux.

To make it stop (Ubuntu's Terminal) is: ctrl c but I'm not sure if there is a ctrl button on that device lol...that sucks. You could also try this command to make it stop: sudo make stop this b!tch j/k lol

Mobile Terminal is awesome! It is a fully functional Unix command line interpreter.

Ctrl + C will terminate the find command with a keyboard. In Mobile Terminal, you emulate that by pressing the "bullet" key (First press ".?123", then "#+=", then the circle on the middle right), then press the C key.

@ryan9559 Yah...not reall. at all... Thing is, all the terminal is really, is the OS without the GUI. Thats it. So if you know how to fully use the GUI properly and completely, you have no actual need for the teminal, or command prompt for Windows...
