  • SUPER

  • a word that came to me in a dream, shoshne is that word,it came from my spiritual guide,of whom i think was a great indian chief !!

  • I have a Powhatan ancestor back in the 1600s, but somehow I always felt I was more connected to the Native American people.

If I am not in body then I am in spirit. Is all I can say.

  • I am not American nor Native but I feel really sad for Native American people. I wonder about how they live unless some of them living in the big cities but I mean how do they live in to the very remote places like twin river area. It would be really cool to be able to get to know some of them and learn their way of life.

  • @lawrapara Uhm, actually, our lives our still normal. Like a modern nice home. :D But if you wanna know some things about us then you can message me. My family is setting up a "prayer meeting". It's very interesting if you want to know about that. :)

  • A glorious tribe, Dancers with the Moon they were and still are. The Divine Goddess speaks in all to you, and it's no sacrifice from Her to remember you, and ALL about you. Blessed are you We shall welcome you into the Chalice of the Un-nameable one, as He comes through frozen tears and the Lake of Her Heart. May it all be right again, to do this, it has to be right. To do this again it has to be right. Even if blind the moves will still be right.

  • Where could I download this track?

  • @ProtossExecutor100 from Amazon

  • This piece of music moves me and my Native American self like no other. It speaks so clearly of the beauty of the Shoshone spirit if we can go within and listen with our heart. Where might I find this "song" (for lack of a better word)? Thank you so much for your dedication to the people of Mother Earth.

  • One historical account shows that the now famous "Big Foot" actually came from the Shoshone word Nampai, (see Shoshone online dictionary) or Chief Nampa as the whites called him for his size 18 foot. Over time he became known as Chief Big Foot. Chief Nampa was actually a Cherokee who left the reservation and came out West. Very interesting story. Great Music here. Thanks for the upload.

They still can be near from True Nature and so... GOD !

How I "envy" them ! Only if I could be there... even it would be... a month !

  • Thank you Helen for posting..beautiful in nature..

  • @TheNorthernpolaris and thank you for watching

  • Fantastic, love that it does not sound synthetic, using real instruments makes a huge difference to the sound,. Good atmosphere in this song!!

  • As always, lovely and meaningful.

  • Nice video. Good music. Just on what you say, that "This land not so long ago belonged to the red man." In reality this land still belongs to the Indigenous peoples. It does not belong to anyone else. Now this land did change to another owner, it is just occupied.

  • My people are Cherokee and Blackfoot, we were mountian and forrest peoples. Seeing these pictures is very calming. I often disapear in the mountians and find a silent peaceful place to sit, camp and enjoy the sound of the wild creatures.

  • i do not belong to the shoshoni indians but i have a great respect. helen1434, you did excellent job with this video!

  • @FREDDYBAKE who says native americans will die off? u do know that they can reproduce just like the rest of us, fuckin moron.

  • i'm white, but i know that to you all this doesn't matter. all that matters is that we are all human beings, inside we are all the same color, that we are united, we love and respect each other like brothers, for Mother Earth!

  • muito bom de ouvir

  • This is video. love the pics of the true owners of the American Contenents.

  • @Hordebrotherhood hahaha, you're so funny! So why I can't blame the whites for what happened a hundred years ago? I suggest you, rather to start reading history books, instead of being annoyed about something you even don't understand :)! What I wrote has nothing to do with self hatred, çause I'm not from the USA, you bloody Mook!

  • fantastic thanks

  • not true the only good white ppl is the pagans ps ..pagan pride

  • AH!!! I may not have native blood in me, but i sure do have Native souls in me:)!!!! Actually, there was a time, not so long ago, before the disease of social domestication that spread like a plague among our brothers, that, all races were native...ALL! After the great deluge, the great melting of waters...all were native...Black man, White, man, Red man, Yellow man, Green man, Purple man...does not matter...Alas, though, humans suffer from short memmory issues...

  • I wish we could go back and change things

  • so wild so free so beautiful

  • ... may the indigenous languages still left on this Planet bless and wash through the ancient roads our souls still walk down Hey Ho Ha Ah RA xxx

  • Much love to my Mexica and other Native ancestors. I will keep our culture alive and share it. I just hope we can reverse the destruction we have done to this land and live simpler. The fact that a mountain had to be destroyed for "clean" coal to power my computer so I could listen to this truly makes me sad

  • true americans!!!!!!!! not fuking usa...i say that from europe, from a nation how was "inferior"

  • Western society is full of corruption, hate and greed, I adore and admire the Native American culture, beliefs and philosophy with great scope. I'm only 19, I live in the UK, I would love to meet a Native American girl but this will be impossible... =(

  • does anyone know what the word Shoshone means? It has come to my attention recently that our people's "tribe" or Nation's name had a meaning. I share 2 nations from both parents being the Mexica meaning "people of the sun" and Mixtec "The cloud people"

  • Great music !

  • When someone says they respect Native American people and there ways, I respect there words. I respect all who respect others here on our turtles back. Peace and respect.

  • I am part native american, and I am proud. But I do not know which tribe I have come from which sadden me greatly. It also makes my heart heavy when they teach missconceptions and stereotypes of us in school, or dont teach the real story at all. Then I agree with the other one who said they make fun of us,and get mad when we say something negative of them, Be proud if you have NATIVE BLOOD. :) but we are all should be brothers and sisters,no more hate.

  • i am very proud of native americans and i am white, but my spirit is souix.we were all meant to live like this.God told adam and eve to take care of the earth, they rebelled, now mother earth has turned on us.

  • Thank you for the video!! Awesome! I have Cherokee and Sioux blood running thru my veins tho I'm not 100% of either (wish I were) with some white thrown in the mix... but I am truly thankful for what Native American blood I do have and very proud of our people :)

  • @skeeterbritches1 well im very proud of your people too and im just white lol,

  • @skeeterbritches1 our people, you forgot a drop of white is a drope of evil...

  • @skeeterbritches1 Im the same, i have Apache blood in me and im soo prowd of it. It sickens me to think what went on 400 years ago though.

  • @skeeterbritches1 I'm Cherokee and black foot with some german and europeon mixed in. Love Native American culture. Wished I could have been around back then to live like they did. One day we will live like this again, but only with the help of the red and blue Katchina's. Should it be their wish to spare me, I will truly be greatful and will gladly live by the original sacred teachings of our ancestors. Great video by the way!

  • A message to all Peoples, Do not worry there will come a time when America will once again belong to the free Peoples. The buffalo will roam and the eagle will soar. When war and greed has rubbed out all the chaos, the earth will heal itself and open her arms. There will be new tribes a mix of cultures and the Native Americans will teach us their ways

  • Shoshone Pride, Native Pride! Hopefully one day, Natives will again roam this world in search/creation of peace

  • I'm white and yet I gree 100% with you! The white man messes up everything he touches....beautiful musuc.

  • @sebastiansap2003 shut a fuck up... im white and we have to face it... we are the race that exterminated the population of complete continent, race that started 2 word wars and race that actually used nuclear weapons on civilians, race that still kills in libya, palestine, iraq and afgan..

We are sick and we have to change it... period!

  • Comment removed

  • @sebastiansap2003 is that all your little racist brain can think of? waow very creative answer i have to admit

  • Comment removed

  • @sebastiansap2003 anti racist usually means antiwhite?? are you retarded or just incredibly stupid.. give me one bad thing that black african people or arabs or idians did to white race? just mention one fuckin thing.

besides i can tell you what we europeans did to everyone.. exterminated complete population of continent and built out ugly buildins, kill millions in middle east, nuked complete cities full of kids in jap. made black people be our slaves for centuries. are you blind or just evil

  • Comment removed

  • @fahrudingoz people like u make me ashamed to show my skin color and to even mention im from europe... we are the fuckin evil in this world and it sucks cuz 99% of white population keeps doing the same thing over and over and keeps ignoring what rest of the world thinks.. we are worse then animals

  • @fahrudingoz That's half true, white people have done a lot of bad things, and half crap, because so has every other race. If you think it's only white people, you are a fool, and if you think it's all white people you are a fool too.

  • @epsoff and you are trying to minimaze stuff that we did... its better to be fool than an asshole whos smart but evil

  • @fahrudingoz I don't minimise anything, it was an awful genocide that the native Americans suffered, but what about genocide in Sudan, Sri Lanka and Tibet? What about Japan's invasion of China in WW2? Atrocities are not only committed by white people, there are plenty of decent white people, and you think I am an evil asshole for saying this? Get a grip.

  • @epsoff it is good that you mentioned japans invasion... :) yes japan did make an invasion and the same way japan attacked military targets perl harbur ... u know what happned?

we nuked the whole cities leaving millions of deaths... children, woman, old man, dogs, cats.. they were all vaporized.... and im sorry for my bad english ofc. i live in germany country that started 2 world wars

  • @fahrudingoz sorry I don't think you have a serious intellectual point to make, just an agenda to grind out. I don't find racism in any form useful or interesting.

  • @epsoff lol well if thats true what you say..then you should also be aginst what white race did to world and other races....

  • i love this song.(: i also love the beginning(: I always tell myself while seeing those quotes "can you believe that your great (etc..) grandfather said that??((:

  • Wind River Mountains looks great :D Wish i was an indian and lived there.. : (

  • Nous européens nous avons beaucoup de choses a apprendre de la culture ameriendienne

  • This is the Music of my People, The Shoshone

  • @shoshone69123 your people are beautiful. i pray that you get your glory back. this bullshit has to end sometime. mother earth will shake her fleas. May the great spirit always be with you, blessing you forever. This song is sacred. when i listen to it, it automatically connects me to great spirit. i love it. this is a perfect song.

  • They are all The People....

  • I want to say to all the natives: You are brave and strong people,i love youré culture, songs and the dances...I RESPECT the natives, they just have to accept that YOU are proud of youré people and proud of youré selfe for who you are, i feel so sad what you all going thru still today...We are all people with flesh and blood..but the one who laughs at you are selfish dogs..

  • My name is Spirit Eagle Hawk I was gifted this name by the elders I am part blood native American and am of Shoshone descent it us always a blessing to listen to the beautiful spiritual music gifted and handed down through generations and in time to come my children Little Star and White Buffalo will teach their children and grandchildren the significance of being who we proudly recognize as natives. • @tortugo389 long ago in they lived in the Rocky Mountains but moved westwards, many along the banks of the winding Snake River

  • @helen1434 how long ago are you talking about? long time ago shoshones didnt even live in the rockies. around 1,000 a.d., shoshones inhabited many southern deserts, and even what is now present day death valley california.

  • @tortugo389

so tell an englishman what it was lik to fish hunt roam where u wanted our rivers have been taken from us were not aloud to hunt 200 hundred years ago we could not know taken from us just as yours have nothing we can do iether but never say die there will be a time for all of us to take our land back and i wont be wearing war paint but we will gather just as we did a long time ago and remember nothings lost till its gained back

  • you cant say shoshones dress and look a certain way, or live in a certain place. people dont understand that shoshones never had territory till white people came. my grandmother says we are a nomadic people, and often were forced to move in a north direction many split. you cant say shoshone land isnt just wyomin and idaho because shoshone land stretched all the way from wyoming, to the nevada deserts, to california and even mexico. the shoshone language is simailiar to aztecan languages.

  • Wonderfull*******

  • nice video. I think I could do school with this playing. Thx for making it.

  • Wonderful !! Thank you.

  • i'm basically from india.. i was wondering why the native americans are called red indians?

  • @shipcool is thought to have originated in a misconception on the part of the Europeans who arrived in Central America in 1492. Since Christopher Columbus began his journey to America with the intent of finding an alternate route to Southeast Asia, he is said to have assumed that the people he came into contact with upon reaching land were Indians. Despite the fact that people probably realized this mistake within hours, the name remained in use.

  • @shipcool i always say Native American's though many NA people actualy call themselves Indians as i have came accross many NA people who dont mind at all, but then other's may not like it

  • @shipcool thank you helen for the info and by the way i think ur videos show the mystic beauty of NA and finally i find myself searching blogs, wiki and videos.. Looking forward to see movies like "Bury my hear at the wounded knee" and the "The last mohican"

  • @shipcool thats great, i watched Bury my hear at the wounded knee and it was heart wrenching in fact i made a video on it, and the footage came from the film, the film only covers part of what went on as the book covers most though i havnt read the book as im not much of a reader, i cant concentrate long enough:) but please do watch the film

  • @shipcool When Europeans first discovered the Americas they believed they had found the East Indies, so they naturally called the natives (who to them looked like actual East Indians, remember the times) Indians. The name stuck even after they figured out where they actually were.

  • @shipcool we colored ourselves red with a special ointment and it turned our skin red, red also has alot of spiritual meaning for the first nations, it is the color of your soul..

  • @shipcool we dont

  • @shipcool Due 2 Columbus thought He found India not America

  • @shipcool cuz people r racist haha actually idk y
