haven't you ever fed a chicken meat? they love it and it's actually quite good for them they need more protein then just the chicken scratch you feed them. they eat bugs too but that is only a little bit of protein. one time i was collecting the eggs from some chickens and dropped one by accident, the chickens devoured it! shell and all. chickens are very cannibalistic.

Chickens are omnivorous - they eat virtually all vegetables, fruit and most meats. My chickens go crazy if they find squished toads. Feeding chickens chicken is an ultimate NO NO though, your asking for CJD or another form of Prions disease... I really would not recommend it.

LOL. My mom told me me uncle used to have a pet chicken. She fed the chicken rubber bands and it ate it so no surprise. Well it will die later though so don't feed rubber bands to your chickens. Chicken meat is okay I guess, at least it's cooked.
