Fission ROM Manager 1.2 Review for Droid 2 and Droid X

I am having trouble using this with a Droid 2 Global. Is Fission ROM Manager able to run on a Droid 2 Global?

I try and install a ROM and the install doesn't work. It reboots but won't install. I'm going to ROM from stock Android 2.2. I selected wipe data and cache before attempting to install. If you can help I'd appreciate it.

What is the point of "themes?"

@Neuroelectronic Themes are visual packages. That is... various visual schemes with different colored interfaces/icons/etc. Just like the various themes you would find on your computer.

@macappfan Yes. You need to have a rooted phone and Koush Bootstrapper in order to run Fission ROM Manager.

@kev0475 whats the bootstrap for? i tried to download a live wallpaper pack and nothing happened.

@macappfan You need Koush Bootstrapper in order to install the packages in Fission ROM Manager. Yes, you can download a few things in FRM and try to install it, but it won't apply. Before rerunning FRM, you should read the directions on how to operate Fission ROM Manager. Click my name and look for how to install Fission using Fission ROM Manager.

@kev0475 im already on fission, but how do i apply the installs. are all the instructions on your instructional video?

@macappfan If you are already on Fission, you are already rooted and have Koush Bootstrapper. You first download the file. Once you do that, click the file again and choose to install it to install queue. The install queue button in the bottom left will enable. Click that. Then install.

@kev0475 i did that, and nothing changed, i downloaded the "Live Wallpaper Package" but have no new wallpapers how do i access it?

@macappfan You can do it from Fission. You just have to follow the instructions that the other ROM's give you.
