  • This movie is so sad :(

  • Is the boy who can repeat stuff styles from teen wolf or is it just me who thinks they look a like?

  • her bf is such a fag for leaving after finding out the boys are autistic

  • that was very cute wg=hen the little boy started singing =) and that so called partner is a bitch! at least she dont have to look after him too anymore..

  • Just wondering are all the uploaded parts the whole movie or any parts taken out? I never Please someone let me know? Since well I didnt watch the whole movie... but seems pretty much to be the whole movie with all the upload parts to me...still sometimes people take parts out for some reason. After seeing this I'm also thinking to look more into LMN movies.

..And If anyone knows any other lifetime movies thats a true story like this one would be helpful or any about bullying others for diff..ty

  • Thank you so much for sharing this movie! I know it's so late but I've been looking to see it, I am surprised I missed this before and just learned about it after cutey Efron was in HSM. What ever happened to that anyways? Ehhh...I know sounds like I dont know much whats going on but I really dont care. I just want to say this is a beautiful movie and thanks. I was even thinking to go rent the dvd or something but thought why not google it, its good I got to save so thanks.. :)

  • i have a son that is autistic and it is very hard, but he is getting all the help he needs. it is a challenge but i love him very much. and after watching this its like seeing my son.

  • if i had austism i couldnt deal with it

  • i love zac in this movie so talented!

  • @JonessZahXNiley I know right! I loved Zac efron since HSM and after seeing this I always will!! ZAC EFRON 4 LIFE :)

  • Hard to watch when my brothers autistic

  • Their dad was a huge douche

  • i wacthed this vidio for lit class

  • @jennbunny61 I'm glad to know your teacher showed you such a good movie.BTW what you thought of it? I hope it really was insightful. If only my teachers would show movies like this but noo boring.I really hope most people can relate but sadly some are so rude about this kinda stuff..u know whole bullying thing(well I've heard many online hateful bullys but thats a whole nother story)But am hoping more classes would do stuff like this n show their class cause all the bullying there is at schools..

  • this movie means alot to me because my little brother is autistic and they did a great job on this <3

  • haha wtf That' lady is from WEEDS!!

  • Doctors don't know what they are talking about all of the time. My friend Kelsey's mom suspected that her son Noah was autistic since her was 3. He was diagnosed with autism about 8 months ago. He is about to turn 15. My family is going through the same thing with my nephew Ethan the doctors say it is just a phase and he will grow out of it. They said that 2 years ago and he is 4 now. He just started talking, but it is more like a mumbling.

  • i love this movie so much i just had to find it

  • @SuperNumba1chick Hey Same here! AM so glad for the good ol' youtube nowadays. Like seriously I am glad I can find movies/shows I miss on the tv or just to rewatch stuff. :)

  • Zac Efron signed with RCA Nashville the same year he was in this movie, then he left the label in 2005, went to Arista Nashville in 2006, and has been with that label since then

  • I saw this TV when I was little and then recognized Zac Efron when HSM came out.

  • Two Disney stars starred in movies about autism: Zac Efron (Miracle Run) and Shia Labeof (Tru Confessions) both are AMAZING movies!

  • good movie

  • i like to see these types of movies by myself so i can openly

  • They need to make a movie about Chris-chan.

  • i remember watching this movie back when i was about 9 (im 17 now) and i was so confused during the movie since i didnt know what autism was but i loved the movie anyway. i remember that night i spent hours just googling and reading about autism. Just yesterday my little brother was diagnosed with autism and ive been so down i felt like i needed to watch this movie again to bring my hopes back up. Fantastic movie ive never been more touched.

  • wow i saw i remember seeing this when i was 8 and then later i saw zac efron in high school musical and was like hmmm where have i seen him before.

  • @carlsm95

    I had the same thing!

    And i love this movie

  • 4 people have no heart :(

  • I like this movie.. especially because i have an autistic brother.

  • adoro esse filme, sempre que posso assisto.

toda pessoa que tem contato com autista devia assistir.

  • it's so cute, but heartbreaking!

    I cried all the time

  • thank you for uploading this movie I have looked everywhere for it

  • What happened during the cut part was that Philip had freaked out over something and so he peed all over the floor....

  • i had to watch lis in literature class

  • :l theress a part mmissing :l

  • is zac playing autistic in this movie? and whats the movie about. im scared to c it if its sad...

  • is zac playing autistic in this movie?

  • Little Steven is adorable!!!

  • whyatis autistic anyway??

  • That stupid old lady in the grocery store @ 5:48 "You need to control your children" Well you need to control your mouth. Crazy old lady :P

  • @hiroshir I know what a bitch like it's obvious they have problems and can't "be controlled"

  • A Lifetime movie, I wonder if the dad does something wrong.

  • @randybob275 I called that one. The dad ends up leaving. Thanks Lifetime for not disappointing.

  • OMG thank you. My friend and I were just talking about this lol. Now I have to show her!

  • Such a good movie, for anyone wanting to watch in good quality, it's currently on Hulu!

  • i love this movie. im studying to become a pediatric neurologist specializing in autism. this is actually one of the things that inspired my career choice.

  • my son is 9. he has high functioning autism. diagnosed at age 4. he has odd, adhd and asperger's. we have MANY challenges, I am still a single mom, I cry and ask why........however, in some strange way I would not change it for anything. my child is perfect in my eyes!!!

  • this movie had me bawling lol it's so good...

  • omg! alicia morton is in this!!! she was annie in the 1999 version!!!

  • my brother is autistic and this movie is amazing this is exactly how he would act when he was their age with the rocking and screaming and repeating

  • This is where I first heard of zac efron. He was REALLY good in this. Even though his break-through movie was high school musical, I feel that his acting talents were wasted on the films. I'm not a big fan of the movies. He is way too talented for that piece of shit.

  • @PoOrUsBaBe07 I completely agree. this is the first movie I saw him in and I knew he had tremendous talent.

  • That woman in the store "Control your children!" reminds me of a woman who complained after a girl about 9 years old left the store I worked at. I think she has some form of autism. She doesn't speak only shouts and yells and the woman told me "I'm glad my children don't act like that. My son never acted out that way!" I wanted to slap the ignorance right out of her!

  • This is one of my favorite movies ever! My brother is autistic and he mimics just like in the movie. Most movies about or with autistic kids never really show what it's really like, but this movie does. I worked with my brother's class in middle school and those kids are probably the sweetest and smartest kids ever, even though they are in a special-ed class.

  • when steven grows up..he is pretty fine!

  • as a parent this movie inspires me being strong...

  • Anyonee know the name of the song that plays at the end of this ?

  • I just love this movie. It is so sad, heart warming, and really eye opening. I feel so compassionate for autistic people, especially autistic children. I want to grow up and work with them somehow.

  • @TornHeartzIn2 I know what you mean. Ever since seeing things like this movie and all the news on kids being bullied,I just really wish it would stop and hopefully more people like you and me would do things to help these kids. My focus a lot on bullying because it happend to me,and I regret not ever doing nothing about it before...but I want to help others or at least, you know, let them poor kiddos know at least I'm here for them if they dont get any support elsewhere. Good luck to you btw! :)

  • ive seen the movie 13 times and its still not boring its such a great movie

  • Zac Efron is so awesome :)

  • zac efron is so cute

  • is da smart kid played by zac efron

  • Zac plays the older Steven Morgan

  • I wish this movie would come on TV again, I love ittt

  • it just did tuesday

  • me too

  • They seem pretty high functioning. Ive seen far worst cases of autism.

  • @Tracy3686 there kids and there just acting.

  • @Tracy3686 I think that might be one of the messages the movie is trying to portray. That not all people with autism are the same, there are different cases.

  • @Tracy3686 so have I it is a spectrum disorder which means that there are different levels of severity and any number of behaviors that kids can have, I worked with an autistic child who would cuddle up with you, and smell your neck to see what perfume you were wearing.

  • @Tracy3686 there are different levels of autism, its a spectrum disorder

  • @Tracy3686 you've seen or raised or grew up? shut the fuck up you don't know how hard it is to deal with them, and if you do then you wouldent have written that comment

  • That was such a bitchy way to have told her.

  • That guy is a piece of sh1t he could have at least waiting a week or so to leave her but damn she just found out about this.

  • y didnt u mention tht Zac Efron is in this film????

  • @MysticGirl2458 because if thats the only reason ur gonna watch it there is no point...

  • In Italian....Sorryyyy :D.....

  • Where can I find this film in English? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :(

  • i would be shocked

  • nao tem em portugues

  • the guy is so selfish...

  • this movie is the reason why I like zac efron

  • Me too. I was so shocked to see him in other movies. No one believed me when I told him he was this kid.

  • i respect him because of this movie. does that count?

  • yes it does. before this I just thought he was kind of a joke... one of those setup disney kids.. but turns out he is a good actor and actually a pretty decent guy.

  • awuh great movie thnk u so much

  • lol....funny comeback "michelleberens!

anyways about this movie.....very good and touching......a lifetime HIT!!!

  • very touching movie!

  • awesome movie

  • it has zac efron in this movie!!!!!!!!!!!

  • anyone know where i can buy this movie???

  • amazon(.)com or ebay

  • which one is zac

  • the kid who mimics

  • wait, it's the other kid...the one who doesnt say anything...my bad.

  • the husband is so selfish . and mind my saying michelleberens their first meltdown was in the car. and the movie is not that bad. even if this isn't the real potrayal or the correct one the film is just showing how kids react when they have autism. it's not a documentary about it. and if i may u don't have to be so rude about it. these people worked hard on this film and ur just tearing it down . the film shows wat autism is not all the procedures and p.s sorry about ur son.

  • My six year old son has autism, and the signs were obvious well before his third birthday; how was this mom so shocked at the autism diagnosis when the dr. casually announces it! Are you trying to tell me that the grocery store scene was their very first meltdown? Most unrealistic about this movie was the way the ABA therapist just shows up out of nowhere, without 50 hours on the phone trying to get insurane to cover it?? Unrealistic portrayal of autism, this whole movie.

  • my nephew has autism, and true that there are some stretches in the truth about the daily battles parents face with autism, but it's a movie. take the stick out of your butt. IT'S A MOVIE.

  • What a nice thing to say to a parent who actually HAS a child and LIVES with autism every day...quite a different thing than watching it as a distant family member; so why don't you take the HOSTILITY out of your attitude and not leave comments on what you know nothing about... by the way lady it was a COMMENT only a COMMENT. People like you are so ignorant.

  • Holy shit, did you just decide to not read the entire comment and just read "take the stick out..." or are you just that dumb? I agreed with you! It's amazing that you feel comfortable calling me ignorant when I was AGREEING with you.... what does that say about you? I was just telling you to calm down.

  • Comment removed

  • Chelley, telling a person to "get the stick out of their butt" for giving their opinion simply based on their experience, IS ignorant. If you want to appear "agreeable" when posting in public forums, perhaps you should keep your opinion on the subject matter at hand, rather than directing offensive remarks toward other people for giving theirs. Living 24/7 w/autism can be a miserable and lonely existence to which there are no "quick fixes" as the movie portrayed, and that's all I was saying.

  • Again... calm down. Autism can be miserable and lonely, however there are worse things. Your child is healthy and alive. You are seriously fighting with a stranger on youtube about a comment.

  • Perhaps in the trailer you live in they consider this fighting, in the civilized world we call it a discussion. Why aren't you attacking ol' "snoozingislosing" above my post for screaming and swearing thru HER opinion? Wtf? U have no clue about living with autism, so why don't you stick to what you DO know, like the lonely and miserable part which u obviously are. Stop commenting on here like you KNOW something just to keep antagonizing. Go take your seroquel meds and watch TV or something.

  • Ugh, I'm not going to "discuss" anything thing with someone like you who needs to say things such as "in the trailer you live in" calling me "miserable and lonely" and assume I'm on any sort of medication. I can assure you 100 percent, that if your son was older and could hear the way that you are "defending" autism as you have on this site he would be ashamed of you. I know this because my nephew with autism doesn't like to point out his differences, nor my brother with cerbal palsy.

  • They would rather be treated the same as everyone else, and not pitied. Pitying your child cripples them.

  • thanks for your advice. Did you have to actually COUNT the remaining characters as you typed in order to try and fit that all in? I like how suddenly you have all these disabled relatives, that's convenient. You don't know have one clue as to how my child would or would not feel, as I'm sure all these disabled family members of yours are proud to have a relative who goes around picking on parents of disabled children on public forums. Yeah, you're super alright.

  • oh and by the way....it's spelled "Cerebral Palsy". I would think you'd know that.

  • 23 and such a grown up, too. By the way, I'm marking you as spam now on my you tube channel, so you'll have to go find some other "old hag" (of 34) to victimize with your brilliant comebacks. Take my advice and try the seroquel. Its an anti-psychotic drug used to treat bi-polars like you. But you probably already knew that since you're so smart. Goodbye trailer girl.....

  • maybe the mom in the movie thought it was the terrible twos at the beginning...and probably in the movie, the mom didn't know much about autism, or maybe she hadn't even heard of it...that's probably why she was shocked, u kno?

  • oh, sry... i just realized the kids are seven. yeah, really i wonder why she didn't kno before?

  • wtf!!?!?! the guy that's her life partner or whatever is so fucking selfish... "I didnt sign up for this autistic boys"?!?!?!?! WHT the FUCK is wrong with guys. My god i just wanna smack that guy!! He is so fucking selfish...such a guy!! All about himself and the sacrifices he might have to make. ARGHHHHHH

  • *holds the guy still*

    alright, take aim!

  • *goes and gets a tank* your sure you wanna be standing there?
