  • jees just let it grow....it's God's creation....they are wasting a lot of energy to get rid of it...guess what? u r not going to get rid of it ...its weed for god sakes

  • Get some to the east coast where the big money is, people will to pay good money for weed.

  • End the drug war. Grow your own. Stop the drug cartels blood shed. Grow your own. Learn how to grow your own sacred sacraments. Watch me do my part of stopping the international drug war in my videos.

  • Its absolutely ridiculous that this even exists!! if u watch the full show on tv it interviews a few men who sell marijuana!! one man sold it so could get his home out of foreclosure..its a shame...when white people sell weed its a industry and there is even a fuckin school that shows how to grow it n get away with it!! all white people no blacks...if black people were there they would b locked up!! this is crazy!!!

  • you're right, it's incredibly biased however racism is still alive and there are millions of people that still think like they're in the civil-war era.

that one thought disgusts me (to be honest) but it's a sad, sad truth of today which is a shame because i know more black people that are amazing, honest and hard working people than the stereotype and it's a shitty situation that they still face racial discrimination in today's "enlightened" society.

  • Your smoking crack. Plenty of black people are involved. I could sit here and argue that Black people are just smart enough to not show their face in this "legal" industry. Take your race card and shove it up your ass.

  • @dtsladee , so you're gonna blame this on the white man as well, lol, I swear, black people are so anti-racist that they dont even realize that they are being racist

  • CANCER CURE = RICK SIMPSON'S HEMP OIL

  • Time to move to california it a gold rush of a different kind

  • thanks for waisting our hard earn tax payers money

    dea

  • The latest poll indicates that 90% of the population of the Western United States believes that Marijuana should be legal while only 10% or less of the population of the Eastern United States believes that Marijuana should be legal .

Copy and paste if you want the entire Western Half of the country to be like California

  • what a joke find another way to make a living.

  • legalize it and all the gangs and guns disappear and all that is left is a multimillion dollar industry.

  • lol that wont make guns go away nor the gangs they would just sell harder drugs weed wont save us from impending doom, yet i think it can help a lot but like i said before it wont just save us

  • this is on tv right now... I'm recording it,.. I'm gonna upload it on utube in the next few days....

  • 973-409-3274 I just called...thought about it first but called...only takes 45 secs of listening on new marijuana bill for legalization of marijuana. just press the # after listening to aprove your vote!

  • emerald triangle is the best place to be living. i love it

  • Be sure to send letters to your representatives supporting marijuana reform bills, go to NORML or MPP's website..takes 5 minutes.

If everyone got together and kept bombarding their reps with letters, Marijuana would be legal by now.

  • For some great educational facts on the marijuana issues and some other smuggling adventures from my past, check out my website at: bruceperlowin(dot)com. And buy a hippie 60's poster while you're at it - to remember those wonderful times.

  • And by the way, GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY COUNTY!!!

  • The sooner we can force the government into making this wonderful medicine legal, the sooner we will be free from tyranny and the twisted, evil ways of those in charge. It's time to bring the power back to the people. Too long we have let ourselves be governed by fear, and the ideas of those with only their best (and mostly monetary) interests in mind. Please people, I'm begging you: Do research. Get informed. Stop living behind the blindfold they have applied to us all. Legalize it, and be free

  • Right on!! The government is suppose to be for the people not against them!!

  • @ShinyMcShine100

    lol

legalizing weed won't save us from shit. so lemme get this straight, we legalize weed and all the bad goes away in the world? oh, I fucking get it. are you fucking high or stoned?

  • or as a way to keep themselves out of debt. Also, growing is VERY, VERY hard work. Every time I see a marijuana eradiction special or clip on tv, I cringe a little. If those people knew how hard these people worked and WHY, I think they'd be a little less willing to rob them of months, and likely years, of excruciating labor. News programs like these that promote senseless law enforcement and propaganda have thankfully been exposed by some more intelligent individuals as exactly that: propaganda

  • What can be said that hasn't been said already? As someone born and raised in the largest marijuana producing county in the nation, I have the benefit if knowing these "scum" that they reference in the video. Most anyone I know who has or has had any involvement in the growning, production, or business of marijuana is almost always a normal, tax-paying, hard working American person who sees it not as an illegal drug but as medicine for those in need, (continued in next post)

  • such a double standard...so the DEA is saying they can't put pressure on the State to try and change the law?

  • what r u talkin for bitch!? start grabbing buds and run! lol

  • Kelloggs is living in the past.

  • I just read that Kellogs dropped Phelps as his behavior is inconsistant with the image of Kelloggs. Well just for the record I and everyone I can convince have just dropped all Kelloggs products and will never buy from their company again. Their reaction is totally inconsistant with modern realities in 2009. Goodbye Kelloggs.

  • I agree with you I will never use a bull shit Kellogs product again!

  • More of a slant (negative) intended but they couldn't manage to pull it off, more than a tinge anyway.

Empower Yourself to Make Laws @ Ni4D(.)US.

  • danm i can smell it from here

  • lol wen she smells it and is like god dayum!

  • Bruce Perlowin's saga is unparalleld in the storied history of genuine "old-school" marijuana smugglers as it exemplifies the "free-wheeling, seat-of-your-pants guts and ingenuity" that brings to mind the the very antics that characterized and personified the founding fathers of our great country. What a fabulous story his tale would make!

  • I agree with you, the era Bruce Perlowin grew up in was one of the most amazing epochs in American history - the hippie generation and the counter culture movements. Smoking marijuana has been a part of American history - in a large way - ever since then. All Bruce was doing was providing the herb that an entire generation demanded. This would make an incredible movie as a part of a colorful, bold, daring, adventerous and free wheeling time in American history.

  • hello this video rocks but check this out my y4h00 1d 1z: kelly4funonline

    U64136479

  • Go to Hulu to watch the whole thing

  • This is a great idea - be like Johnny Apple seed - seed America everywhere, in parks, on the lawn of the coutrt houses across the land - from California to the New York high land, from the Redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters - this land was meant for marijuana! Let "Seed America" be a battle cry for the new freedom we all want.

  • PROTEST MARIJUANA PROHIBITION! The concept is simple.

Step 1: Don't trash your seeds or give them away. Save them.

Step 2: When Spring comes, don't throw your seeds by the side of the road. Plant them. (Planting is as easy sticking your finger 1/2-inch into the ground, dropping a couple of seeds into the hole, then kicking some dirt over it.)

    Three: Repeat.

Seed America. Free ourselves from Marijuana Prohibition, naturally.

    SPREAD THE WORD!

  • Well, what's going on? Obama said that he was going to legalize marijuana. So, when is he going to sign the Executive Order to legalize marijuana?

  • I think he mentioned legalizing it for medical uses, and decriminalizing it. He doesn't believe in legalizing it though.

I don't see why not to though, the government would make tons of money, millions of jobs would open up, so many benefits! There is not one reason not to legalize marijuana.

  • I saw this on hulu. They show some HUGE plants growing in back yards. Looks like paradise on earth haha :-)

  • i totally agree with you.

  • How about a look inside the "war on marijuana" industry?? At the billions wasted on the impossible task of denying people a relatively harmless high that they want. At the crime created by this insane prohibition. At the lives ruined by imprisonment for a victimless "crime."

  • The only people who eat this shit up anymore are the elderly and right-wing hicks.

  • Propaganda. And the reporter is the worst I've seen in awhile. Whatever happened to objectivism?

  • This fluff piece made me sad. It's pathetic really because it BARELY got into the deep and complex reasons for prohibition. Tens of thousands of good people in jail/concentration camps don't thank you. Why should any one person anywhere ever go to jail for growing or possessing this plant? I wish you wouldn't make your documentaries 1/10th assed. Gangsters and guns are a result of prohibition. When you force stuff to the underground you get the worst of human nature.

  • government anti weed propaganda...duh

    END PROHIBITION!!

  • The whole time she was talking to the marijuana supporters she seemed to be taunting them. Not once did she pose a challenging question to any of the authorities on the program. Such as how many people do they encouner actually carry firearms and become violent. Maybe if we legalized we could get rid of foreigners sneaking in and keep that money from leaving our country and back to theirs. It's not like we couldn't use right now, let that #1 cash crop pull use out of the crapper.

  • All this program accomplished was showing how biased authorities are when it comes to marijuana. The reporter only interviewed the people supporting legalization. All the comments made about how important it is to local economies just goes to show how it could turn around our national economy if given the chance. Btw I would much rather be on the road with a person smoking marijuana than someone who's been driving drunk. You can smoke marijuana and still be a responsible citizen.

  • :) legalize it... we are not "scum"

  • is it me or is the government getin a little scared? all this recent support for reform and look what a top politically affiliated news outlet publishes...some more propaganda bullshit to blind the masses. O i love it.

  • They are scared because the time for the ending of government itself is not far off now. Those in power will always seek to prolong their position of influence as long as possible.

  • I can't wait to see this one!

  • Marijuana decreases your reaction time, which might make you communist, which allows the terrorist to win and brings on the apocalypse.

  • You're right - all my marijuana smoking associates did join the communist party (they told me that's where all the chicks were) and they do just eat a lot when the news of terrorist comes on the TV. Plus their mellow, easy going natures (except for the girls who can get really bitchy whether they're on marijuana or not) and soft spoken demeaners does tend to effect the speeding up of the apocalypse. Great observation - never quite realized that until now. Thanks.

  • This weekend... on hulu

  • hulu nice

  • How do I see it on hulu what is the exact website and is it at any particlular time or can I watch it anytime? If anytime, what time will it first be available to watch?

  • sup, do u guys know where i can see it (online)?

  • i dont hate pot users so dont think i'm against it. all i'm saying is that it's dangerous when you operate machinery while high. no offence brah

  • You can't prove that, at least we all know that operating heavy machinery under the influence of ANY drug is not a good idea.

  • the people that are going to smoke it are going to smoke it,i think the vast majority of folks smoke it with no problem at all..i say legalize it tax it and have a new tax revenue ..instead of spending countless millions fighting it.

  • Your opinion comes from lack of experience in this area. I don't smoke pot, however at least 50% of my friends do. I can never tell any difference when they are high on pot - though they say they don't get high - it calms them down. Driving in the car with them is never a problem (I'm talking 40 years experience here) however, I always know when any of them have drank alcohol and its not good - seeing their behavior change when they drink - it never changes when they smoke. That's the way it is

  • aye calm down son, all i said was that it's dangerous for cannabis to be legalised since it'll cause a lot more crimes such as theft, murder etc etc. try driving while high, u'll be a danger 2 urself and everyone else.

  • this show sucked, spun too much toward the negitives of things. They should of had someone on there to say well u know all the negitives are asociated with the prohibition factors. take prohibition away and you have legit business with regulations and inspection.

  • Straight people don't know what you're about

They put you down and shut you out

You gave to me a new belief

And soon the world will love you sweet leaf

  • same shit different day. anti marijuana propaganda disguised as informative broadcast. fuck all leo. fuck nbc.

  • I haven't seen all of it yet, and if anyone catches it, please post it.

I did see 'drug czar' John Walters make a fool of himself, referring to marijuana as 'poison', irrespective of the fact that people across the world see it as their medicine.

Also, the involvement of illegal cartels... is because marijuana is illegal. Legalize it, and all the crime associated with illegal drugs disappears.

It aren't the drugs that are doing harm to society, it is prohibition - again.

  • America needs more Marijuana.

  • she did a very bias report. What a bitch. They wont allow people to see cannabis for what it is. sad

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad CNBC didn't point out that violence, pollution and supposed gateway effect are the results of prohibition of marijuana.

Recent study showed 50% of pot dealers in San Francisco also sold hard drugs, while only 17% of pot dealers in Holland sold hard drugs. Prohibition is the gateway!

  • Good show, focused on the positive as well as the tru negative but theres so much money to be made in it for the gov. I wonder if that would play a big hand in fixing the economy

  • why dont you go after a real problem like meth fuck CNBC

  • If it's legalised in america then you guys will get stuffed up. imagine 10 potheads on a busy road.

    you do the math

  • hey dumb shit there is prob 20 om the road now so wats tha dif

  • k dumb shit, imagine every car in America had at least 1 or more pot users in the car at any given time of the day. it's a fucking hazard and hence that is why the drug is illegal.

  • Imagine every car had one drunk person...or person talking on their cell phone...or sleeping. Doesn't mean that we should make them illegal.

  • are you stupid? Marijuana was made illegal because of old racial issues. It was not based on any actual research. Really, it is less harmful than cigarettes and much less impairing than alcohol. Prohibition didn't work in the 20's and it won't work now. I give it 10 years.

  • cannabis is the # 1 crop everywhere. they will never stop it. overgrow the government

  • LEGALIZE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ILL AMEN TO THAT BRO!!!

  • No - don't legalize it. How will all us criminals make money than? There will be no more drug wars, none of the negative effects of it being legal. The government won't have to pay the cost to incarcerate 500,000 people now in prison for marijuana let alone the cost of prosecuting 175,000 last year for marijuana. Prosecutors and police will have to go after dangerous criminals than like rapist, killers and burgulars and so on. Let's spend billions more on a war on drugs that has never worked.

  • good point and then what would the fun be of getting it

  • The drug cartel are getting scared. If more citizens insist on legalization, the drug warlords lose money and power, and WE THE PEOPLE, win!

IMO, The drug cartel probably paid to have 'fear' videos aired on TV.

    END PROHIBITION NOW!

Put control and power back in the hands of legal government!

  • lol, I like when she sniffs it

  • Get rid of alcohol and tobacco. Thats what kill people. I have never heard of someones death caused by smoking pot. Tru, you shouldnt be able to operate a vehicle while under the influence but legalize it. Theres no harm in it.

  • I would love an alternative to:

high priced pharmaceuticals that have a chance of curing one ailment, but will require 100 other pills to counteract the negative side affects half of which are death.

    Cigarettes aka government crack.

Fossil fuels that fund terrorist organizations.

    Some of the positives:

Creates countless taxable jobs pumping money into the economy.

Removes money from the black market.

Alleviates overcrowded jails and criminal systems.

    Counteracts harmful pollution.

    FUKN DUH!

  • Marijuana kills 0 (ZERO) people a year. Marijuana kills less people than power tools every year. The American Goverment has done a fantastic job making people believe a harmless plant is harmful to society. the effects of marijuana are as follow: happy, hungry, sleep.

Which part of happy, hungry and sleep deserves jail time?

  • While marijuana does kill 0 (zero) people pre year according to the US Bureau of Vital Statistics - this same government agencey tells us that cigarettes and alcohol kills 500,000 Americans every year. Humm - those numbers sure don't add up - and maybe now the law can catch up with social realities. Why is marijuana illegal in the first place is the looming question I have - are we a crazy society or what?

  • Growing weed as American as apple pie, shot guns, ten gallon hats, corn fed pilsner, USO shows, drive ins , burger joints, ect, lets all vote it out of the hands of Foreign entity's who don't care if we smoke pesticides ect. Why do we in this countries current economy feel having it done else ware then paying a foreign country for a product or service is luxury?

  • oink oink, freakin liberalize it man, take it out of the hands of "Scum' make it lawful to grow next to my tomatoes and eggplant and stuff. then I would have absolutely no need to associate with even the most mellow/benigne of "criminal scum" yes its true the Mexican cartels have taken root in our national forests and shit , weed is American , letting foreign nationals to grow on our federal soil and sell it back to us just to have the cash leave the us is not!

  • wewillruleagain you are so right! The problem is getting single minded Drug Warriors (and their sheeple) to recognize their beloved pocket book bolstering prohibition laws are the very thing that created the cannabis black market they say they are fighting.

Prohibition is not controlling cannabis distribution but giving up ALL control of cannabis distribution to drug cartels and their dealers that do not ask for ID.

  • I couldnt agree more wewillruleagain!

Now if the Drug Warriors and their sheeple would fess up to the fact that their beloved cannabis prohibition laws created the very scum they say they are fighting.

Prohibition is not controlling cannabis distribution but giving up ALL control of cannabis distribution to drug cartels and their dealers that do not ask for ID.

  • Just say no to Network Television... it'll make you dumber than staying high 24/7

  • cnbc is cable

  • lol did you hear the pig squeeling? He is there to eradicate the scum that grow marijuana, but his county is known as the biggest producer of... good marijuana(dun dun duuuuuunnnnnnn).

  • people with this attitude towards weed have obviously never smoked it.

  • Or are just jelous that THEY cant smoke it (EX: Have allergic reaction, job drug tests, or simply had a bad experience like that cop who ate those brownies)

  • George Washington: "sow the hemp seed everywhere" MARIJUANA/HEMP is the best plant known to man! Long Live Marijuana!

  • Crime and Marijuana are only related through the ignorance of prohibition. Learn from the past!

  • Yet another absolutely vacuous s'expose. How about doing a piece on the insanely militant, and historically repetitive response (think alcohol prohibition) the police and government have been embracing?

  • Pretty sad. It took these folks five, count 'em five, seconds to say something objectively untrue. Sorry guys, marijuana is not a narcotic.

If you're going to make a hyperbolic, inflammatory "news" piece, at least get your facts straight.

  • It's amazing to listen to the political and law enforcement people talk about marijuana. All they say is what they think is the popular thing for someone to say who is in their position. However they use sound bites expressing their views that are prehistoric and very out of date for today's realities. By the end of this year (or next) they will all be saying our decrimilization and/or legalization is the thing to do as they'll wake up to the fact that 20 million plus American's are not wrong.

  • This looks very interesting. And yes, it is a buinsess, just like any other. I do plan to catch it.

  • President-elect Obama has been refreshingly honest about his current and past drug use. He has written and talked about his marijuana and cocaine use when he was younger. He has never run from or made excuses about his drug use or habits. Like Obama, tens of millions of Americans have tried marijuana and so far they seem not to be holding his past drug use against him. It is beyond belief that in this day and age that marijuana is still illegal.

  • Any intelligent person, in the government or otherwise, knows that the drug war has failed..the question is "why is it still going on?"..is the government somehow profiting off it's continued illegality?...what the hell can we do if that's the case?

What we really need is mass outrage, and it is simply outrageous...but i'm not sure if we will be able to get the Alzheimer's generation onboard with us, or if we will have to wait until they die to gain political power. : /

  • LIGHT EM' UP w/Johnny Reeferseed and The High Rollers feat/AFROMAN google it......

  • On the policy front, President-elect Obama has made some good commitments during the campaign: He supports repealing the harshest drug sentences, ending federal raids on marijuana dispensaries in states where medical marijuana is legal, and supporting treatment alternatives for low-level drug offenses. Senator Webb of Virginia has made our country's prison overcrowding crisis -- fueled by the drug war -- a top priority. It's about time some common sense about marijuana will prevail in the US.

  • Not anymore buddy. He is ducking away from all of those questions now that he has been elected. Just another politician... Ron Paul would have made this beautiful PLANT legal.

  • smokem if ya got em

  • light up!

  • 24/7 365

  • cant wait to see

  • I'm Excited To See This,Seen "Marijuana Nation" On National Geographic,Damn That was a cool Show.. Smoked A Few Bowls And watched :]

I have Asthma For Nearly all my life And While Blazing up i can tell that its much easier to breath.. There are many studies out there saying it is good for asthma, But "I see That Its good for everyone!"

Legalize decriminalize We shouldn't be called Criminals!

  • Legalize nature!

  • Why can't we just have the right to grow our own weed for personal use, then we wouldn't have to rely on dealers in the first place.

  • I have an insomnia condition that I've been medicated for for 8 years. There are no signs of it going away, and the medication they gave me (Trazodone) is a health risk; much more so than medical marijuana would be. I live in Wisconsin though. So I guess I have to be poisoned by Trazodone. Give me a choice, okay? Shut up about the industry, TV. Your negative comments aren't helping me. You better say that marijuana is "awesome."

  • If people that smoke pot didn't need to resort to looking for a pot dealer (whom most likely sells other drug besides weed) then the chances of most pot smokers getting into the harsher drugs like meth & haroin is less likely. I know the government know this shit, it is common sence. They are causing a visious cycle of drug rings & reasons in which people get into gangs in which gangs kill for territory. LAW ENFORCMENT IS A CROCK OF SHIT. I hope Obama knows better and tries to pass HR 5843.

  • i emailed my congress woman who supported 5843 and i guess it bombed out and is thrown in the trash.

  • I live in Texas. There was a fire in the woods late new years eve just before midnight. A state trooper stopped at my drivway & asked me for directions. To make the story shorter, I asked him after the fire was put out what he thought of marijuana. He said he thought it was a "Gateway Drug." WTF? If marijuana was sold in stores drug dealers wouldn't need to sell it, therefore lowering the chance of pot smokers coming across other drugs these dealers sell. POT SHOULD BE LEGAL. Fuck the DEA.

  • All you have to do to get rid of the marijuana dealers is make marijuana LEGAL. It is funny how they act like Marijuana is THE DRUG they have to irradicate while dealers don't just deal weed but have their hands into everything including prostitution. The elected officials are liars because they know they make money off of all of it and keep the people needing THEM and all of their worthless government programs. RID US OF GOVERNMENT INSTEAD, IT IS ALL CORRUPT!
