  • 6 people can't tell the difference between major and minor

  • I'm fascinated and i can't stop staring at their hands :D

  • They are so tight.

  • teppeis guitar is out of tune,..

  • Damn, Teppei should get some lead singing parts in the next album.

  • @or19937 They've always harmonized in alot of their stuff. They trade off alot too. On records, him and Dustin just sound really alike. Riley even gets a part here and there.

  • @or19937 You'd actually be very surprised how many harmonies he's in... He usually out-does Dustin. Find the "Come All You Weary" with just Dustin and Tep on two acoustics, it's a good example.

  • @Alio15 You clearly are not a singer. It's way easier to do higher harmonies than the lower voice.

  • @gibbietube why does it matter if hardcore dancers go to shows? let them move how they want.

  • i have the same guitar!! taylors kill

  • ahhh ... just beautiful .

doesn't matter if any1 else hates it .

  • @gibbietube have you listened to EVERYTHING that thrice has put out?

if you did you'd know that they're anything but "bland" and of course this is gunna sem that way... its an acoustic version! every rock song sounds dull acoustic...

    still a good recording tho...

  • they're so good :')

  • Great. Just great. Sounds clean and powerful, even when it's stripped down to acoustic.

  • This is soo pretty

  • Alsome

  • @gibbietube Ouch... don't generalize 16 year old's to have a sour taste in music... I absolutely love Thrice... and well, I'll be 16 soon.

  • I love Teppei hes so talented "no homo"

  • Never heard better vocal harmonies in acoustic performances than those between Dustin and Teppei.

  • @blackened138 dude, check out emery's acoustic set man... i love thrice but personally i think devan and toby of emery own these guys

  • lol I can't believe some people call them emo - look at the analogies to society and real things going on. One of the ones that really blew me away was Paper Tigers, that song was well written :o

  • they're suich a good band. they really play as one.. It's all about the sound they make as a whole..

  • I don't know how people can hate on thrice... They're an amazing band especially in this performance. People need to stop hating and learn what real music is...

  • HOW CAN SOME PPL DISLIKE THIS :/ AMAZING LIVE PEFORMANCE

  • The lead singer has an awesome voice live!

  • Man this album is the BEST!

  • @lordburzum nobody sits behind me though

  • Wow, I remember catching this on fuse a few days after my first love and I broke up. This song always reminds me of her. It's weird when you can hear something or get a certain scent and suddenly feel something you felt years ago, like having a mental flashback or something. Haha I kinda feel like I'm going to have a great day now. Thanks for posting this song!

  • I just saw them in Columbus a couple nights ago...and I actually got to meet Dustin and talk with him for like 10 minutes! Best 10 minutes of my life! He is such an inspiration to me!

His dad is undergoing surgery for a tumor, so whoever reads this, please pray for him and his family.

  • @lordburzum says the guy with the name lordburzum.. hah. stop bein so close minded dude and pay attention to the lyrics, they actually have somethin to say, if u can comprehend them.

  • JOTO

  • So damned awesome live. If you haven't heard these guys live, do it as soon as possible! They are by far one of the best in live performances. AHH!

  • agree

  • @anarchos1 I got to see them live in Salt Lake City a few months back and am going to see them again in Vegas in May. Such an epic live band!

  • damn teps has a voice!!

  • this song is the best acoustic form of a song hands down

  • really good performance :)

  • perfect

  • I've never watched this all the way through... this is the best I've heard Teppei sing, he's got an awesome voice!

  • @dudeguy2k Look up come all you weary acoustic. Teppei belts like a boss.

  • Thrics is AMAZING! love this song!

  • awesome......on a stick. I feel bad for the bass player though, hah.

  • BEST. EVER.

  • I love this but the Stare and The Sun and Cold Cash and Colder Hearts acoustics are hard to top. Thrice is amazing, by far my favorite band, Check out Dustins solo work, Fucking Epic!!!

  • This song is just as good acoustic as it is heavy. I just can't stop listening to Thrice for the last year...

  • this is totally in drop C! so like drop D but a whole step lower

  • damn right!

  • heck yes correct man, no one wants to be shouting over their guitar because the notes are too high! :P

  • I love how they can take any of their songs and transform them into an acoustic version.

  • does any one know what tuning this is in...i think it sounds like a possible drop D but im not too sure...

  • yeah, it is

  • riley plays guitar, and they make acoustic basses, i wonder why he never plays with them on acoustic sets?

  • Dude....I totally fucking agree.

  • Man they really know how to make the song sound full and complete even though its an acoustic session. Top performers and musicians. Vocal harmonies on point.

  • I love when Teppei sings!!!!!!!

  • @PunkInDrublic77 Teppei's voice goes perfectly with the raspiness of Dustin's :)

  • @PunkInDrublic77 Same! I'd love to hear him be more involved vocally, he has a really good voice!

  • another reason thrice is my favorite band

  • thats faaacken awesome man .

  • Why had I never faved this before?

  • it's nice hearing the song torn down to it's elements. the harmonies don;t get to shine on the album version since Andy Wallace his them to far back under the guitars, but they really are nice parts.

I'm looking forward to the new Thrice record "Beggars" and to the Acoustic Best-of tehy're planning for 2010

it should be cool hearing the other singles broken down like this one.

  • thrice is super wicked awesome. holy moly.

  • These guys are just incredible, outstanding live performances are where true artists shine

  • Amazing, these guys are so talented and they have a HUGE potential, they are the ones who should get the big sales, not those freakin posers such as rihanna and other stupid fake and idiotic "artists".These are the real artists.

  • they should be gettin the big sales, but lil idiotic brats are too immature to appreciate TRUE music

basically whatever they like, is what sells :/

    unfortunately

  • Teppei's voice make me fool, that's why I looove this acoustic version. Thrice rocks, héhé.

  • I think I like this more than the electric version to be honest.

  • *agrees* this song NEEDS the distort...

but this one is still very good, I like the feel.

  • this music moves me...great musicians all around!

  • dustin kensrue and jesse lacey write the greatest lyrics of all time, but their lyrics are so different from each other. Dustins are amazingly powerful, and Jesse's are just really meaningful and relative.

  • dude you just named my like two favourite musicians

  • i know, they're amazing

  • ha, yeah me to

  • Dustin's voice sounds soo much younger here.. Over the years his voice has matured and improved(I think) over the years; breathtaking performance from one of the greatest bands of our generation.

  • his voice definitely changed and to be honest i dont know if i like the younger or older voice better, both are amazing

  • I know, it's much more mature, but both are amazing!

  • The versatility of Thrice is incredibly breathtaking and toes the line between that which is believable and that which is not.

  • this is an awesome song for acoustic!

  • that acoustics got an incredibly powerful tone. wow.

  • Thrice is as good as ever when they are playing through an amp or not. They would have to be one of the greatest bands on Earth.

  • i think even the bes of the band should look up to thrice for inspiration, they are the most amazing band ever even if there not plugged into an amp

  • I find the amazing synchronization of Dustin and Teppei's hands at 1:07 really weird.

  • Yes!! They play as one. ! its soo good

    Very Good observation.

  • They're playing the same thing at the same tempo in the same tuning. They HAVE to move their hands at the same time.

  • dude what the hell... i made that comment a month ago... i was just talking about his vocal skills... besides you dont even know me... you are a true douche...

  • the agressive vocals as you say, is what make the song good ^^

i wish i had half of his agressive vocal skills... i qould be very happy

  • there not that agressive like screaming bands, but they do scream thats why his voice sounds like it does in that agressive tone

  • beautiful piece of work, as always.

  • that statement makes you an idiot.

a true thrice would realize that everything they have done has been a work of genious...

  • how is Firebreather, or The Messenger, or Daedalus, or Like Moths To Flame, and so on, not aggressive vocal to you? Man, you are seriously confused.

  • teppei needs to have more singing parts

  • yep. i have a version of "trust" where just teppei sings... but its such a bad quality. it sounds as if he would be under water

  • Do you know where I can get a hold of that version? Had it once, but can't find it anymore.

  • teppei rules..

  • the amount of bass in the guitar tone pisses me off but i love the song itself

  • this video is super dope lol...

    i love thrice...

    no homo...

  • the new albums own this

  • Blaspheme. Everything they write is godly

  • Truth indeed

  • Great song and performance

  • doesnt anyone else think Teppei (or however you spell it) looks slightly elf-like...but in a cute way ya know like you could have a little pet Teppei =] lolz

  • LMAO what?! ive never really imagined having a pet-elf teppei tbh, but i spose it would be kinda cute.

  • hah as iff!i posted that comment ages ago and youve only just replied lol ah well at least im loved =] wooo x x x x

  • lol yeah i feel stupid cos it took me more than a month to reply to yours but it took you like less than a day to reply to mine..

hey i replied to this guys 5-month old comment.. waddya think he'll make of that eh?

  • lol yeah we're so hardcore having conversations that last over half a year lol x x x

  • WOW 35 seconds ago, its getting quicker :)

  • Great!!!!!

  • awesome, the guitars are soo tight..that kicks ass

  • Great performance, simply put, this is (In my opinion at the very least) the perfect acoustic performance of "All That's Left"

  • haha Ed, singing awkwardly in the back. sounds good though.

for a long time this was my least favorite Thrice song actually, although I never exactly DISliked it. lately its energy and lyrics have been growing on me. and this version rocks.

  • lol yeah it does look funny

in my opinion it looks so better when singers play guitars, or any other instruments as well as singing, cos in like guitar solos theyre just stood there doing nothing. but in one song by some band the singer started playing air guitar during a guitar solo.. he looked soo stupid.

  • i wish i could go back in time and see Thrice just after this album came out so they'd play their best stuff...oh well. awesome song. stare at the sun is a better song done acoustic tho

  • wow KiwiCrisis, this is their worst song? How many Thrice songs have you ever listened to? 2? your kidding me.

  • I'd say "The Next Day" is their worst song because it's so short and no words. And even then I still like it!

  • i like teppei's voice

    teppei is such a beast

  • Brings me back to when i first saw them do acoustic at warped tour a while back. Awesome performance.

  • flobablobalob

  • yeeee!

  • Love this performance!

  • Thrice is my favorite band of all time. Best acoustic performance ever!

  • I hope you're not older than 10. Anyway, this version is a two-person must, so I recommend you so-called fans by an Ebay guitar for 10bucks, take some youtube guitar lessons, then tune to Drop C and attempt this song with a bud. 'The Sickness' he's singing about comes back again in Firebreather, in which he responds with a mantra: "I'll breathe in fire and know I'm free!" Yes, Teppei can sing: check out 'Cold Cash,' in Japan. Credible.

  • "I hope you're not older than 10".

    I hope you're not any older than 7. And I'm 15. What's your point?

  • You sound like a chick who just saw her first Beatles show.

  • chill the fuck out dumbass.

  • you're the one not chill, wankerbot. Go do us all a favour and acquire some education. You're only 15 - I was learning 'Little Wing' on my guitar when you were learning to wipe yer arse. YOU chill the fuck out, alright, little one?

  • huh? i wish i was 15. and little wing? hmm...impressive. type in rhode island shred in the search bar. im workin on that right now, if you can play that flawlessly i will be impressed.

oh, but i have to give you credit for wankerbot tho...thats pretty funny.

  • lol internet rage. plz continue.

  • Good idea. Percussion would be a nice addition to an acoustic performance.

  • It also takes away from the rawness. Tough call. The drum/bass should be implicit in their dual harmony, anyway. It's overkill to add a cajon or bongo or whatever.

  • Holy piss! Teppei can sing!

  • Such a good acoustic performance. The guitar is awesome. Teppei's and Ed's harmonies are dead on. Flawless performance.

Poor Riley is left out in this one.

  • It's the most amazing acoustic performance i ever saw!

  • does anyone know where i can find the tab for teppei's lead during the chorus?

  • use your ears - they're the best tab out there. Ha, I sound like an old croney. Keep rockin' out. It's rare to find a band who's acoustic translations are as up-tempo as the normative. Just remember - Teppei's playing in Drop C (so that's 3rd fret, A string to get your note, which you probably already got). Peace,

  • Teppei really suprised my when I heard this the first time. This backups were right there. All in all, my favorite version.

  • Definitely my favorite version of All That's Left ( however the others are still great), although Thrice's acoustic versions are quite different from the originals, they both are great.

  • Lol, this version is exactly the same as the electric - they didn't change anything

  • this version is dropped c

the normal is dropped d i think...

  • The normal one is dropped c also.
