@ctcole77 There was never any forensic investigation of the rubble and the site was cread off without inviting Insurers to come and look at the building. Totally unheard off that 3 skyscrapers come down at near freefall speed and there is no investigation. Secondly, and this is speculative, but didn't you see how every single company fell in line with official gov accounts. None dared question. And uni professors and engineers who dared to state facts many times found themselves without jobs.

Funny how Dr. Bob says that the war in Iraq was only about obtaining oil, and yet in Bush's 8 years he did not lift a finger to secure even a drop of Iraqi oil for the US.

I *used* to be a very big fan of his... and went to see him whenever I could. Problem is, he claimed in the mid-80's that SDI would result in WWIII, and questioned Reagan's motives and intelligence.

US companies however got bulk of all contracts. Haliburton was rubbing their hands so hard smoke was coming up.

But you are right, things sometimes take a twist or a turn and they have yet not managed to defeat the partisans (which is the correct term, not insurgents) who fight them.

@PeaknikMicki Well, rubbing hands doesn't meany anything, and "admitting" that oil was a reason is very different than saying that OBTAINING oil was the reason. Very different ideas.

Saying that crime is the reason for police is very different from saying that committing crime is the reason for police.

Oil is a reason because oil stability is important for the global economy. Has nothing to do with obtaining it.

As stability was achieved, the battle with partisans is an orthogonal issue.
