theres an easier way than the way your doing it! Windows media will do it automatically through the menu system, but has a minimum setting of 0.125 seconds per picture with a gap of 0.175 between photos....

why not take the pictures hit "ctrl a" and drag them all and drop them... Render the vieo even tho its slow... bring back that slow rindered part of the video speed it up, instead of trying to speed up each frame... :| Would be less work... Then grab all the clips put them together and add sound and other stuff as you wish and there you have it... I know this vid is old but eh just a suggestion...

Go to the setting options before you drag any pictures down to the timeline and change the picture duration to 0.25 of a second. Avoid all the effects. Effects can slow down your CPU.

it looks like you were a complety noob on computers... perhaps u find the easy way to do this (tools, durati....)... but u can do stop motion in Sony vegas (u must have already the photos) in only 1 minute and its more easy to use.

you can just go to tools, options, and change the Picture Duration to 0.125 and Transition Duration 0.25 and then import all of your pictures (once you've imported them into Windows Movie Maker of course) by clicking CTRL a and things should be a lot simpiler. just FYI. :)

1 - am on a mac now but i guess u can set the duration of each pic to a minimum in preferences.

2 - u can print ur movie and then accelerate it all in one go instead of frame by frame.

Windows Movie maker changed for Windows 7 and is not the same creature it once was. It is hard to even try to add effects and other things to various pictures or video like you could with Win XP. I really just about hate the new WMM in Win 7.

you don't have to drag and drop each picture individually, if you click and hold the mouse button then drag the mouse from the top left to the bottom right, you can import all of the pictures to the timeline by dragging and dropping once. this will only work if you have numbered the pictures in the correct order. this saves a massive ammount of time.

@halospartan1000 haha, it usually depends on the version of the operating system and many other facts, even on the overall computer performance, so I wouldn't be so terrified about it. then again, it is windows we are talking about...just you know, always have a backup copy or such as in my case, divide your work on more than one computer(I actually own a laptop and two desktop computers, and on the latter I can't afford to work in movie maker because I loose everything) Anyway, good luck.
