I'm an atheist and I don't believe in satan/god or any deity of any kind BUT I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC! It's so soothing. I have an 8 yr old and he believes in god and jesus and stuff. I don't tell him no different. I like for him to learn about different religions and if he wants to believe, it's ok. I love my lil' man to death and like most religious peole they usually teach them about whatever they believe in and strictly that. Thats not right, to me. Don't put fear into your precious child.

The first time I heard, and I mean HEARD, this song not just listened to it was in Basic Training. Far from home and on my own for the first real time I went to this congregation and this little petite woman, who was also a Basic Trainee, got up and sung this song while a pianist played behind her. I kid you not I cried for the first and only time in Basic Training. This version is the closest version I can find to her voice and feeling, and I thank you for posting it.
