Hallo, it will fit a Gainward NV9500GT-1024-VGA-DVI with CUDA, 1024MB DDR2, Core Clk: 550, 400(DDR800), PCI-E, PhysX, Heat Sink, VGA+DVI. Please answer if you now
im watching this video on that pc but its reaaly horrible it takes 5 minutes to load this page and Windows Live Messenger doensnt work on it!!!! :@ I HATE THAT PC !!!!
@whitmanX23 yeah, i have the 10u version and it will run it on low settings, or you can buy a low profile video card because they have a pci express x16 and x1 slots
It's basically an HP slim line with the eMachines name. Case is virtually identical to HP's slim line class from a couple years ago. Decent low-end desktop. Will blow the pants off any cheap laptop's performance.
I know you said its not a gaming desktop but do you know if it can play games like Black ops and portal? I am trying to find a desktop that can play games like that for around $300 or less.
@GMRemie Oh thankyou, there's also another type of this computer with a AMD Athlon II x2 255, Which im thinking about buying a new case along with video card any recomendations?
@iKyzuko if you want too. if the onboard Nvidia chip isn't working out then something like a 5450 might be a little better, but it's still not going to be a gaming computer. My father needed to run dial monitors and this was pretty much the only solution. Plus the HD5450 is pretty power efficent. But it's up to you. if the onboard Nvidia isn't powerful enough then get a 5450 but remember the 5450 is not meant for hardcore gaming.
@SubaruHyena Thanks. I don't do hardcore gaming and I'm getting the eMachines EL1580 and it comes with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500. Is that better than the Nvidia GeForce 6150?
Also, do you think I'll have problems fitting the 5450 in?
@iKyzuko ohhh haha no. the GeForce graphics are better. for the most part intel graphics are the worst you can get. I mean I think the best Intel Graphics still lag behind the worst AMD/ATI and Nvidia graphics. So you'll want to either just buy an AMD eMachines, or switch out to a better video card. The HD 5450 shoulden't have much of an issue installing, but keep in mind if your tower is this same size, you will need a low profile adapter. the XFX we bought came with one.
@iKyzuko The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 is faster and has better features than the nVidia GeForce 6150. The 6150 is NOT DirectX 10 compatible and was released over 4 years ago. The X4500 is DirectX 10 compatible and was released after the 6150. It also uses 65nm technology while the 6150 uses 110nm, meaning the dye is bigger and runs hotter than the X4500. Computers with the 6150 will NOT have HDMI, but the ones with the X4500 will. Don't listen to SubaruHyena, he knows NOTHING.
@iKyzuko The HD 5450 is a great card and is far faster than the GeForce 6150. If you can fit the HD 5450, you may certainly fit an HD 6570 if you want more gaming performance. The HD 6570 will still work even with a PSU as low as 150W, which I'm sure your eMachines has much more than that. HIS and Sapphire has some very nice low profile HD 6570's that will fit in your eMachines, but I'm just suggesting. The HD 5450 is still a wonderful card if you're looking for mainstream gaming and media.
@MostBl0ody1 it depends on what game. if your playing the installed emachines arcade it will run fine and surf the web. But if you plan oon running games like call of duty you better upgrade memory!
Cheap!

@VideoGuyNC I think you mean Acer, right? eMachines and Gateway are owned by Acer. Hewlett Packard only owns Compaq as their low end brand.

@joshuasonicfan Portal: maybe on lowest settings, black ops? no.
You'll save more by just spending the extra $200 now and get a entry level gaming computer for $500. you also want a full tower, not slim.

@SubaruHyena Thank you!

You guys could just buy a Sapphire HD5670 graphics card. It's an awesome video card around $90.
iKyzuko 7 months ago
@iKyzuko Something like a HD5670 will not fit in this case.
We installed a XFX HD5450 and it BARELY fit. Also the power supply can't handle more than a HD5450
SubaruHyena 7 months ago
@SubaruHyena :( Can't you upgrade the power supply?
What about a HD4650? Will that fit?
iKyzuko 7 months ago
@iKyzuko No, the maximum size graphics card you can fit is the HD5450 that we bought. it's dimensions were
6.61" (long) x 2.71" (deep) x 0.55" (tall)
The power supply might be able to be upgraded, but so far I haven't run across one that would fit into the back of the case.
