Well, all I can say to that is..I hope you don't like your women like you 'like your planes (joke). Seriously, I've been on the A380, unquestionably, it is a marvelous aircraft and a phenomenal piece of engineering! But also it is not the most appealing looking aircraft. Yes, there is such a thing as ugly cars (pinto, certain peugeot models) as well as aircraft. Boeing 377 Strato. For all it is..the A380 just isn't in the 'graceful appea'l category. The 747 certainly is. Just my opinion.

I have no doubt that the A380 is ugly. The 747 is a beauty though its old. But you must have in mind that when people enter an aircraft they think mainly about safety and entertainment, the beauty is probably the last one. And on these points, the A380 offers the best nowadays.

Agreed, from a Passengers' view as you've said..yes the A380 is soar very high. However some carriers have decked out some old 747-400's with some killer 1st and Biz class layouts, but still, it's hard to beat the A380's new innovations! But I'm a photographer 1st, passenger second..hell, I'll ride in anything ..and old beat up Tu-134! And as ugly as a Tu-134 is...it makes cool engine noise -- great for videography! Make no mistake..I will continue to shoot A380s no matter how ugly it is!

Ok. You have awesome videos, very close to those big birds. I dont know how you do these videos, if you work at an airport or something, but the truth is that we can get a better dimension about the size of these huge aircrafts watching them. Congrats dude

The a380 hasnt been around long. Safety wise the 777 is the best as it has an amazing record (noone has ever died on it and the only problems that there ever occurred happened b/c of the rolls royce engines (the problems have been fixed)) and its been running for 20 years!

I was comparing the A380 with the 747, you cant compare it with a 777. The triple seven is my favourite aicraft, but I have to admit that the A380 can offer more in comfort and technology, once its newer. It doesnt mean that the 777 inst improving, but Airbus planes have a tradition for being more economic, cheaper and more modern than boeings (FBW, avionics etc).

Think of it this way - compared to the atmosphere, upon which ALL aircraft depend for flight, the A380 is tiny. It's all about airflow, whether paper plane or A380.
