Lydia has major chops and one of the better young bass players out there...However, this particular solo becomes a bit laborsome tedious. A typical audience can get lost and loose focus pretty quickly. I am trying to find a video with playing with the band when she is just giving the low end her love and not trying to be over the top with her soloing! Before you send me hate mail, I really like this lady. Playing the bass is not her only attribute! Watch out for this one!

It's also the improv. aspect you dork. Much of freestyle jazz follows a similar style, I mean sax players and other musicians all do the same and it's talent. Especially the speed she picks up with... My question is, can YOU do any better because I play the drums and it's not the same as a string instrument trust me, she only has 2 hands not both feet and an array of drums to hit.
