Can't believe I missed both this vid and the one you did of The Battery neighborhood after this one. I vaguely recall the Battery neighborhood in your next vid, from when I attended my uncle's wedding as a child in the late 80s, and wow do I need to revisit it so badly!
Funny enough, I think it was only this vid that I've finally started to appreciate how great the Ravenel Bridge is, despite that I've seen it in past vids you've filmed. Not sure why. Great tune to go along w/this vid, as usual.
super chilled timing and music - great visual tour of this amazing beautiful town, love the sped up stoplights and movement of the people, excellent!!! nice typography too! the foliage and landscaping in this area are exceptional 5+
Wow!! Dang you ALSO hae this video! I missed it in my subscriptions! BTW, Since I am planning to move there, how are the people? Are they sociable and caring? Are there any open beaches with sand? How often and what kind of outdoor events does this place have? This is the ONE that will make me move there!!

@FreewayTitan Thank you! yeah that bridge is pretty special. I think Charleston is much nicer and more interesting than Savannah, If I had to live in either city it would be Charleston hands down.
That's a highly interesting tour of Charleston. It looks like these historic districts are well preserved in the southeast (Savannah is supposedly very nice too).
Morning videos often turn out very well as long as you're not driving east.
This was a really great video to watch from an architectural and visual effects standpoint! I loved you new way of "dealing" with stoplights by speeding the video up instead of using a fading cross transition. Def. a nice touch! I've never been to Charleston before. Looks like it's worth a visit!
@CosmoPhotography Thanks Evan, and thanks for noticing my stoplight technique, it cuts about 20-30 seconds of "nothing" down to roughly one without the visual disruption of a cut or transition. Charleston is definitely worth a visit, especially from a photography standpoint, that bad-ass camera of yours would get a workout ;)

What a fantastic bridge. The old 1929 bridge was a nightmare.

Those turning lane markings on the ground look really odd. they look almost european/british.

Nice vid, Jim. I've never been to Charleston. It looks similar to Historic Savannah, in terms of the architecture.

What a bridge! The history appears well-preserved, is Charleston similar to Savannah? Nice video, 5*

Great video! That was a very good street video, by the way. Charleston has to be old, I can tell. Also, I've never heard of The Battery.

@FreewayAndrew -Thanks, yes Charleston is a very old, yet well preserved city, you'll learn more about The battery in the next video :)

@VaFreeways -Thanks, the camera does not do it justice.

@Freewayjim How can a camera do it justice?
FreewayAndrew 1 year ago
@FreewayAndrew -In most cases, it can't especially if the subject is greater in scope than the camera can capture.
