One of my favorites from the early catalog of the KIng of rock and by God roll! Some what dated, perhaps, polished to the hilt, you bet, but we all must agree that no one could belt 'em out like the ole Hound Dog hisbadself! Especially at this particular stage of his career, so, by all means, RIP Elvis, because you done real good old son, and needles to say, there will never be another quite like you! I don't know if you play guitar but check out the Merle Haggard rendition (whom I never really followed - before my time). Really good version. Here's what's interesting, he and Elvis sing their versions in the same key.

You know, when you stop and think that Elvis was done at 42, it just makes you shake your head. I also liked his "I don't Care If the Sun Don't Shine.." . So too is "Mystery Train". I also like the "Blue Moon" with Elvis and Torme.
