Actually his TV is the best type of TV to play rock band on, seeing as it has no lag. LCD HDTVs tend to have lag, but his "crappy" TV doesn't.

But Noods rocks regardless of the TV. 8)

The rock band star rating system works based on points, so if you FC'd hungry like the wolf without using overdrive, or if you used a bad overdrive path, you won't get enough points to get gold stars.

I'm just saying this because I tested it out. I FC'd hungry like the wolf without using overdrive, and I didn't get gold stars.

Then I FC'd it using overdrive and I got gold stars.

no you can hit anywhere, the tiny circle is just telling you where the middle is/where the hit sensor is i think. but i know for a fact you can hit anywhere on the drum besides the rim, of course.

No. If they don't work on a kit, it's not the kit's fault unless the thing that connects it to the kit is faulty. Otherwise, it's COMPLETELY the heads, and the sensors fault. And I know its the heads, because I've tried three different kits, all with the same results.

I haven't tried goodwoods either, but I do own ions. I see many posts on scorehero that features someone having issues with dropped notes, overhits, worn mesh, etc. I think that because goodwoods are crafted by people more than a machine, there isn't consistency always with whether you will have a good or bad set. I was actually very close to purchasing goodwoods instead of ions but after hearing stories of malfunctioning sets, it wasn't a risk I wanted to take.

If it's missing notes with any pad cover, the sensor is shot. Which means you need a new drumset, I believe there is not a lot you can do for a sensor
