@nAt02015 Not directly because of it, however, I can't rule out the possibility that it may have had an effect on my PS3, even though it first died a few months later. It was pretty old either way, so it was bound to die some time.

I'm actually planning to do this soon, but not in the career, just on arcade mode with unlimited laps. I've done a few 3 hour tests just to see if the racing would be close and how bored i would get and i think i'm ready to attempt this. I'm thinking i might do it on a smaller track, that way theres gonna be more action. Anyway - Got any tips for when it gets extremely boring after around 3 hours in? How did u keep yourself entertained and not just sack it after it was clear you would win?

@TunaWilson Well, first of all, knowing that this would become a video I would upload to YouTube was some of my motivation. Apart from that, I just listened through my music library to keep myself entertained.
