i got into the cod one spring 30 some odd years ago off center beach they were after sand eels millions of em must have caught at least 70 next night you could see gill nets off shore a ways out only caught 5 15 inch ones than no more and only one other guy was fishin the whole beach that nite the cod went 15 pounds and better i miss the place wicked i quit going because of all the rules they came up with no fires ect.
