The "zeitgeistlich" deceits of secular humanism and Romanism saturate the Satanic movement toward the apostate contempo mistranslations of Scripture called the "moden versions." In fact, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who read from a scroll of Isaiah in the synagogue, also said, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me" (John 5:39). If one cannot believe the Holy Bible, then logically he cannot believe the Son of God.
@jjpetkusiii well thine ith interpotationeth cloudeth the translationeth I saith thou need to get thine hands on the orignal greek and hebrews manuscripteth!
it may costeth thou many sheckels but then thou will hath the trueth scripture and thou hast a good day
@captbullhorn Once again, you completely missed the point.
All "modern versions" mistranslate the Holy Scriptures from corrupt texts (which crypto-Romanists and apostates posing as "Protestant" regularly endorse) into inferior, misleading, and incorrect English. On the other hand, the King James Bible is the perfect translation of the Old Testament and New Testament into exemplary English legible today.
Neither is yours, and no one (e.g., you) has ever proven even one linguistic or historical fact that refutes the plenary verbal inerrancy of the translated Scriptural text of the King James Bible in fully legible English today.
The fact is that no one without exception who has argued against the King James Bible has been able to defend his own mistranslations into English in a public forum for any significant length of time because they just like you only regurgitate sophistries and transparent propaganda favored by Alexandrian cultists, atheists, crackpot advocates of Scientology, Biblical illiterates, etc.
Try learning how to compose a valid premise in English after you have been instructed by someone who is literate in that language about how to write a truthful sentence.
In the meanwhile, consider this irrefutable fact: No one (e.g., you quite obviously) has ever proven a single historical or linguistic fact that refutes the plenary verbal inerrancy of the King James Bible in fully legible English, which is the lingua franca of our contemporary world.
The "errors" reside in your imagination only since, of course, none has been demonstrated anywhere in the Biblical text of the AV1611 since the reign of King James VI of Scotland and I of England as an irrefutable matter of historical fact. (By the way, the use of a synonym, e.g., "Elias" or "Elijah," is never an error of translation into any language from another.)
@captbullhorn In English pronunciation Elijah and Elias are the same name. English is derived from German. In german "J" is pronounced as a modern "Y";and the "S" is often silent as in "Illinois". When pronounced as it was years ago both names are identical. As for the italics, you can call them uninspired if you like, but at least the KJB is honest about which words were supplied by the translators; unlike modern translations. God has magnified His word above all His name.See Psalm138:2
The fact is that no one without exception who has argued against the King James Bible has been able to defend his own mistranslations into English in a public forum for any significant length of time because they only regurgitate sophistries and transparent propaganda favored by Alexandrian cultists, atheists, crackpot advocates of Scientology, etc.

God NEVER promised to preserve the originals. He promised to preserve his words.
Ps12-6-7,Ps138:2,
Moses smashed the original tables
Ex32:19, Jeremiah originals were burnt Jer 36:23, and then thrown into the Euphrates River Jer51:63, Daniel interpreted an original document that was written on a wall Dan 5:24-31, The original scribed statement that Christ was King of the Jews was written on the cross itself Lk23:38.
God put the Apocrypha exactly where it belonged. In neither testament.
@kjvonly01 Exactly. I wonder how Jesus would deal with the idiots who choose to be ignorant to make it seem like they are righteous. We are none gonna see the originals EVER, they don't exist, just like you pointed out. People are so stupid when it comes to the Word of God, they don't read the bible, instead they go on what others teach and pretend to be holy even when they have no idea what being Holy is all about. I agree with what you say, I just wish others could see the truth also.
know that King James Only doctrine is not found in the Bible. If you think I'm wrong, I invite you to show me, and everyone reading this, exactly where the King James Version is mentioned in Scripture, or where in Scripture it is taught that God would preserve His Word in only one version of the Bible, or where it is taught in Scripture that God would preserve His Word only in English.
my Friend the Proof is in the Pudding {King James Bible} it is without spot and Error compare other perversions with it the KJV will out shine them All Why it is the Perfect Word of God Preserved for the English speaking People!!!! Amen read it djw
As King James VI of Scotland and I of England put it so succinclty, "It is Atheism and blasphemy to dispute what God can do: good Christians content themselves with His will revealed in His word."
"The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever" (Psalm 12:6ff).
No factual error anywhere in the King James Bible has ever been proven.
The Hebrew word “pim”, which refers to a monetary unit of weight, in 1 Samuel 13:21 is incorrectly translated in the KJV as “file”, simply because the word had fallen out of usage and literally nobody knew what a pim was at that time. It wasn't until early 20th century excavations, when actual pims were found, that the word was finally given its correct translation.
There. 100% factual error in the KJV. Care to comment?
Every verse of the translated Biblical text of the AV1611 is fully attested by earlier authoritative Bibles in English and many other languages.
A file with mouths is the sense of the Hebrew as 1Samuel 13:21, which has no connection with any sort of coinage. The word "Rome" in English means an apple in upstate New York today, by the way, but in the context of Revelation 17 it is the proper name of the Mother of Harlots and Abominations.
@jjpetkusiii The Translating team would have done better if they had access to the documents in the Vatican Library....but they used what they had and did a credible job. Still they recommended that Christians use several translations..and they left notes of disputed and unsettled translations in the margins.
ο θεος ο ποιησας τον κοσμον και παντα τα εν αυτω ουτος ουρανου και γης κυριος υπαρχων ουκ εν χειροποιητοις ναοις κατοικει
In perfect English, that Koine Greek text reads: "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands" (Acts 17:24).
While your Biblical illiteracy in any language is impossible to hide, there are no errors in the King James Bible as a proven matter of historical fact.
@jjpetkusiii How do you "prove there are no errors in the KJV?" It cant be done. Of course the KJV translation team dealt with a large number of textual variants.. The elders in Alexandria faithfully opposed the heretical influences that came from the north....like the heretical Arian teachers....They came from the area of the Byzantine texts. The result was the Nicean creed which to this day defends against Gnostic and Arian heresys, many of which arose from the areas of the Byzantine texts.
@prairiemark Try learning how to read English, troll, since you are a Biblical illiterate in Hebrew and Greek like all the rest of your pompous coterie of Alexandrian cultists.
As boggymark1 put it so succinctly, ”By the way, 'brainouty' can't even interpret the Koine Greek herself--in fact she can't really pronounce it because she thinks that it has 'meter' like Attic Greek which was a different language--BUT your moronic revisionist propaganda is what did you in here..."

kjvonly01--God NEVER promised to preserve the -- God never promised anything. Evidence ??

I invite you to show me, and everyone reading this, exactly where anyone professes to King James "doctrine".

@jjpetkusiii
Care to comment?
takealongline 1 year ago
@takealongline LOL!

@prairiemark Who are you?
ο θεος ο ποιησας τον κοσμον και παντα τα εν αυτω ουτος ουρανου και γης κυριος υπαρχων ουκ εν χειροποιητοις ναοις κατοικει
