No my hand was not on the lock button. you can see it doing this on my other video while sitting on my bed not being held. the video is called:
Ipad2 shutting off on its own! Will not stay on.
You are a cynic. Plus it did it at the apple store and i returned it. I have received nothing but headaches which make me wish that I had never bought it. There was not one positive thing that happened because of this so why on earth would I fake it? Maybe that is something that you would do but notme.
The reason I posted these is I was asked not to by a representative of apple. They also asked me to remove them but I refused. I am tomorrow driving 165 miles to the nearest apple store to return it because the apple representatives would not exchange it for me. They said my only option (with the $90 Apple care plan I had purchased) was to send it in to be REPAIRED! The only way they would send me a replacement by mail was if I purchased another one.
did not have it long enough to go buy a case. I had it less than 24 hours when it started doing this. Has NEVER been in a case. Has had no magnets near it.
I saw a hand on the power button

there must be some sort of magnet interfering with the screen thingy like the smart cover.
