Not sure about this battle but English troops did not contribute the major forces or endured the biggest burden for the Battle of Saranda. In addition, Nazi forces entered Albania in 1943 so there is no way they had 3 years that they head been on that beachhead. Either way thank you for shedding blood in for the freedom of our land. No there was no other army but German forces did not enter Albania until 1943 after Italy capitulated. In the video they say the Germans had been there for 3 years, which from the way I know history could not be true. British forces probably helped but not sure to what extent. History in Albania is writen to say that Albanian partisans carried the biggest burden of the battle and knowing Enver Hoxha that should be true because he would not allow anyone to steal his glory.
