The original music makes it feel like the sand is so hot that you have to keep moving or else you'll burn your feet, or wheels. Gritzy Desert music makes it feel like there's wind flowing through the hills and it's not so hot anymore.

I do that to keep myself calm. It's like pacing yourself, keeping yourself from losing control. Besides, hardly anyone else does it and I like to be different.

Ohmigosh! Why you lucky son-of-a-gun! Two bullets? Dang! I've found that there is a magnet or something on Cris Angel that prevents bullets from coming up in the rotation (although it tosses me a bone from time to time). I could be a half lap behind and I'll just get a stupid "blooper", a bomb, three green shells - completely useless - or, to add insult to injury, a stupid lightning cloud. Congratulations on a first place finish! Fun to see you go from last to first! Cool!!

It's written in the Laws of Karma that you MUST get hit with a red shell immediately upon leaving Bullet Bill form. Or right after a star. Or a mega mushroom. Or a golden mushroom.

Or maybe it's just me.

It leaves us with only one question: How is it that I can't hit the guy right in front of me, on a clear track, with a red shell, but some dink who tossed one from half a mile away - on Moonview Highway - can score a direct hit on me?

Small groups are just as hectic as the larger ones. Quite a rarity to get two Bullet Bills in a row on the first lap. I thought for a moment that the Bullet Bill at the end would have lagged itself into first.
