The 'not giving it away' concept is an interresting one. While I agree with almost everything else you say - this one I'd like to process some more.
Males compete very strongly for the pretty girl who plays hard to get - then when they get her they walk away as she is very high maintanance.
What if the competition for sex was taken out of the equasion? Like in pre-columbus Hawaii?
