  • I will offer no further statement on the matter because the Word also states: "if anyone be otherwise minded, the Holy Ghost will reveal even this to you." Go in peace and be blessed by true knowledge of Gods will for each of our lives.

  • I dont debate the Word of God because as the Word says it genders strife and spirit of confusion, but if the Holy Ghost werent for ALL, why did Peter say the promise is unto u, your children and childrens children AND as many as are afar off? This is Acts 2:38-39. Yes there are many who have the gift of interpretation of tongues. PLEASE Dont knock what u havent allowed God to do for AND in YOU.

  • "you cant die halfway you gotta die all the way"

  • The child was NOT ALMOST DROWNED! She was probably afraid of the water. I know a little girl that was baptised last year. she's very small for her age, she was scared of the baptisimal pool the water was warm but she was too scared to be submerged, finally after about half a dozen tries, her Father went in with her and the minister and held her and she was finally baptised.

  • Oh, and to make it even MORE cult-like, the Pastor had a CURFEW on all the youth. And, if HE (the Pastor) found out that you were out past your curfew, then you had to answer to HIM (the Pastor). And, you were "set down" from different things in the Church. You weren't allowed to do this or do that (pertaining to Church involvement) till you could PROVE to the PASTOR that you were under submission to HIM and HIS' TEACHINGS (and RULES)

  • But, the thing is, I never seen this girl being almost DROWNED at all. She came no where close to being drowned. I could see how that COULD happen at a Pentecostal Church. They get sooooo worked up and soooo carried away with pure EMOTIONALISM and ADRENALINE (what they call the "Holy Ghost" moving on you). So, I could see this happening. But, in THIS video, I do NOT see that happening at all. Deceiving title! The Apostolic movement, in MY opinion, is a cult. But, this is not an almost drowning

  • They told you what to wear, what not to wear, how long your hair was supposed to be. And, my Pastor would even come up to you and see if your hair was touching your ears. And, IF they were, you had to get a haircut that day (or the next). Soon! And, we weren't allowed to watch tv or go to the movies. No jewelry, no short sleeved shirts. Men had to wear full length pants. Women were NOT allowed to wear pants. They had to wear LONG dresses. No cutting of the hair for them. No makeup!

  • I do NOT like Apostolic Pentecostalism at all. I went to a United Pentecostal Church for a long time. And, was TOTALLY brainwashed (to the point where my own Mom and Dad didn't know me and neither did anybody else who used to know me). It was like I went there and overnight I became someone else. DRASTIC change! And, oh, I know, they would say that it was a "good" change. But, it wasn't. I was under THEIR control. And, they controlled EVERYTHING about me (CONTINUTED ...).

  • @littlemsgodly- Exactly!

  • No matter what anyone says, i think the title was a sensationalism gimmick....just to get people to click on the clip. I sure didnt see the child anywhere close to DROWNING....My youngest daughter was baptised at the age of 4 because she went to the pastor and said she wanted to repent of her sins and have them washed away as Acts 2:38 says. She was filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues too. NOBODY influenced or forced her. Many children in our church are saved at an early age.

  • @getemworldwide In order for a baptism to be valid, the person needs to have an understanding of God’s Word and an intelligent decision to present themself to do His will (Ac 2:41). A 4 year old can not do either of those things. And the gift of tongues, along with all other miraculous works, ceased with the death of the apostles and those who received such gifts from them (1 Co 13:8). Today, faith is based on an accurate knowledge of God's word (2 Ti 3:16, 17).

  • @getemworldwide There is however one possible explanation for you daughter's actions - 2 Co 11:14. Did anybody even know what language she was supposedly speaking?

  • Since you read your bible and obviously I do not, can you tell me how many scriptual examples of children being baptized? Don't get me wrong, I admire your zeal, but I have one more scripture for you - Rom 10:2,3.

  • Yes, we all inherit adamic sin (Rom 5:12). But that sin does not incur death (1 John 5:17). The sins we need to repent for are sins of word and deed (1 Cor 6:9-11). So I repeat the question: What sins could she have possibly committed that she needed to repent for? Also, Jesus was baptized at about 30 years old (Lu 21:23). The Ethiopian eunuch wasn't baptized until he came to a full understanding of Christ (Ac 8:35,36).

  • He didn't almost drown her.

  • O K ....ya thats what we call a person getting Baptised....um not drowning...

  • Huh??? I think this title is a little over the top!

  • Seeing stuff like this disgusts me.

  • um this wasnt drownin really

  • a kiddy pool really

  • religion is archaic and for the unspiritual.....free thinking FTW.....

  • thats some motherfuckers

  • w you w s i got baptized today from nikki

  • Being christian is ABSOLUTE NONSENSE!! It is time for this idiotic adults to stop abusing kids like this in the name of the non-existent.

  • what has " being wet with some pool water " with Being Christian or not ??

    ABSOLUTE NONSENSE !!

  • ohhhh stupid Christans........

  • I made the comment because so many folks push their kids into religion, with the idea of giving the kid structure. Understand the idea is well respected, but there is more then one way to do so. Plus so many fight, lie, and kill over religion. It's good to have a center, or faith. But kids get older and find their own path, again let them choose. That's one of many gifts we all were given as humans. @ hsvpeterson

  • Please don't drown the kid, she looks freaked out!!

It looks like the little girl didn't know what was going on, she was told to "Say yes".

This looks forced religion, when that happens things go really wrong.

Don't think this post will help your message, . . . People need time to choose and understand, to make up their own minds about their faith.

  • @chuckmays So true to often people think that saying a prayer doing certain things makes them saved. Saddest words in the Bible are

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

    Matthew 7:22-23

  • He did say suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for such is the kingdom!

  • @littlemsgodly That girl looks to be about 8 years old. What sins could she have possibly committed? And she obviously had no idea what was going on or why she was being baptized. She couldn't even answer a simple question without being coached. What exactly did you people do to 'qualify' this little girl for her baptism?

  • @MrJmacx we are born in sin read the bible and you wouldnt have so many questions

  • @Klyons60 Wow! You were so quick to respond when you thought you were dealing with a simpleton.

  • What you fail to realize that we have a youth ministry and some of these kids is probably more in love with Jesus than your

  • @littlemsgodly Which means you indoctrinate the kids with your views. In a true free society children are able to find and explore religion for themselves and a decision for themselves.

  • "Say yes" ? . . .

  • Everyone in the world has a baptism once and a while. It's just that other people call it

"Taking a bath", which is better since you don't have to have anyone stand behind you chanting about Jesus n stuff while you are doing it. More privacy that way xD

Religion is so funny and yet so strange at the same time. Why we have it I'll never know.

  • JESUS NAME BAPTISM!! WHOOP WHOOP!

  • @CookieMonsterLove76 Then why woupd you watch it. Lol?

  • she didnt go under there for the sins washed down her face .......so ya thats why they "clense" u entirely under water....its about faith too and the lil girl had none have fun in hell..........

  • its not a girl, its a female nigga

  • Indoctrinate 'em while they're young!

  • um, no one drowned the little girl. lmao. nor did they almost drown her. christianity is stupid...she was TOLD to say yes. she didn't know what the fuck she was saying yes to. dumbasses.

  • Naw he didn't almost drown here she wanted to get up so helped her up what are yall talking about????

  • Why r they being baptized in a little kiddie pool?

  • how she almost drown from that

  • We, (our church) don't believe in baptising little children. Baptism, we believe, should be the conscious, willful choice of the one who wants to take that next step after being born-again. One must fully know what this born-again experience is in order to knowingly get baptized. To this little girl, she just thinks she's tryna drown her in that pool, no wonder she panicked. She ought to just be dedicated to God until she chooses to get baptized one day on her own accord.

  • @ashyguy34 so true. And i wish people who do this could just show me ONE verse where the apostles or jesus, or john the baptist, or paul baptized CHILDREN. They cant.

  • Don't think he is trying to drown her, she must be fully immersed. She was just scared ,but now she dosn't have to worry about it after she was immersed in the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38

  • This is sick. The little girl thinks its play time, the older woman has to get her attention. Then when she asks her if she is ready to baptized for the salvation of her soul she does not answer and is TOLD to "say yes". Obviously she is not old enough to understand what is going on. Religion is the new stupid.

  • Yeah, I'm sure she has read and fully understands the Bible and has made her own choice. I'm sure her parents didn't wake up one morning and decide that their daughter was going to be baptized, like it or not. And one more thing, using deception in a title in order to get views.... I do believe that is the "sin" of lying.

  • see religion is bad for you. forced to say yes forced to do something you aren't ready or willing to do and violent.

  • @wcresponder

    No one forcing

  • @gene4c pinching her nose and pushing her down ....looks like forcing. the instinct in fear is to keep the head up that is what she's trying.

  • say yes !!!!! LOL I bet they voted Obama YES we can. He told them to say YES too. dont think for your self just say what mamma say.

  • She kinda made that girl get baptized she asked her a question then told her to say yes...

  • The Bible does not say anywhere---He who is saved should be baptised.

  • @11kingskids That's true. I guess cause Jesus was baptized and Christians want to be more like him?? Plus you're already saved once you confess that you believe so idk what's up with baptizing either

  • THEY USED THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY GHOST------WHICH IS JESUS!!!!!!!!!! Praise God they did it right!

  • what is this.. lol

  • u r retarted that preacher didnt almost drown that girl...recognize

  • ...and they wonder why some people choose to become pagans...

  • lol "say yes"

    "yes"

    wtf?

  • In the name!!!

  • The girl is to youngh to get baptized....but Acts 2:38 clearly say that you should baptize in the name of Jesus. Yes gospel say Jesus told his disciples go for and baptized people in the and I quote " the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost" bit what his the name of these 3...there's just one name Jesus!!!

  • Almost drowned? She was underwater for what, half a second?

  • IT WOULD HELP TO ADD MORE WATER..

  • they heffas is well fed. I no dat!

  • HHEHEHEHEHEH

  • lOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Wow! This is just wrong! That little girl is NOT ready to be baptized. You had to tell her to say yes, and almost drown her to go under?? I am a Christian, and love to see people baptized but this was just wrong...

  • @willdozer7 she wanted to be baptized

  • And this is why the world thinks that the church it's retarded.

  • @slaytech1992 not retarded just crazy for Jesus

  • It's doesn't have any weight if you tell the child to say yes...

  • @wolftone1916 she was just confirming the facts

  • there deff apostolic

  • @jamestowngo2guy yep apostolic

  • Jesus will not hear you if you don't go all the way down.... Fucking ridiculous.. You think Christianity has some ties with the Pharisaical movement?

  • @mcfrenchcfryphobe hahaha your funny

  • the words u used are not correct, and the little child seems scared and confused...she didnt seem ready. when u baptise someone u say "in obedience to the commandment of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, and upon her/his confession of him as his/her personal saviour, I baptise you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Ghost" it's dangerous ground to reword the bible and to put a child in such a confused state.

  • @penniesfromheavon Really? Is that the words we use? Oh god thank God for you... You are such a wonderful person to condemn and enslave men into you doctrine. I fucking can not stand this sectarian movement that has no Idea what Jesus was speaking of... Fools and blind! First take the plank out of your own eye, before you try to remove the speck in others. Or is this the surgery that we need,? "Say the wright words or you will be judged. What a mockery.

  • @mcfrenchcfryphobe thanks

  • @penniesfromheavon so what are the proper words since you seem to know lol

  • this is just a weird custom

  • Why aren't children baptized in the bible? Hmm...because they don't have any sins and therefore can't repent for one. And secondly, they don't fully comprehend the resurrection of Christ and so can't confess their faith in Him. This doctrinal foolery is why children go on to think they are saved and never thoroughly understand Christianity and are fake Christians for the rest of their lives...ugh

  • @etemuru the bible says to him that knoweth to do right and doeth it not to him it is sin! So from the second they understand.......................

  • @littlemsgodly DO NOT take the world of God out of context. First of all, Paul was addressing people who were arguing about Jewish traditions and eating practices. That has nothing to do with what Paul said specifically about baptism. NOTHING. Because I don't know you, I will try to be as patient as gracious as possible if you care to respond, however, I don't think you can justify using bible verses out of context, so I tend to ignore people such as yourself.

  • @etemuru YOU are SOOOOO right! It's not just via Baptism though. People tell these kids they are "saved" and they grow up cutting up sidesways and still profess salvation. They say, "Oh I'm saved, I just aint delivered." LYING DEVIL!!! You aint saved and as long as you claiming you are you never will be! WHY? If you aint a drug addict you dont seek treatment. If you confess to not be Sin sick and bound in sin then you will not seek to be saved and set free. get it together! Lord help us ALL!

  • @etemuru AMEN!!!

  • Better to be baptizing than be a knife wielding baby like in Daunte's Inferno.

  • The Caption for the video is Extremely MISLEADING. Nobody almost 'drowned'!!! The little girl was obviously a little apprehensive as many children are in water, especially when submerging their head underwater, when in play or something as serious as the Sacrament of Baptism...Jeesh!

  • @cliffiej Thats entertainment

  • @littlemsgodly That's STUPID.

  • oh those crazy cristans

  • it's not funny at all. nothing wrong happened

  • I'm an atheist, but, in all fairness, I think it's ridiculous to accuse these preachers of "almost drowning" that girl. All they did was very briefly put her head under water, and they even took precautions by pinching her nose to prevent water from going in it.

  • @ejdf870 thanks

  • @littlemsgodly

I agree...there was no "near drowing" there.

  • @ejdf870 Yeah I Know, That Was Not Drowning, Why Would You Put Up A Preacher Almost "Drowns" A Girl. That's Like Awful.

  • All this infighting about how to indoctrina...I mean give a kid a holy bath...How come Jesus don't post the answer right here?

  • @killinme77 thats all it is is a holy bath head to toe

  • @killinme77 if the answer was that simple, Jesus would post it here. its a mystery that's the whole point..

  • He didn't almost drown her... and telling her to say YES is kinda funny.

  • What a perv. Leave the little girl alone.

  • @conworldus perv?

  • you shouldnt force ur kid to get baptised.

  • we believe that once a child is old enough to understand the difference between right and wrong and has decided to outwardly profess there faith by saying i give my life to Christ i give myself away so he can use me. They are ready for baptism.

Baptism is an outward confession to the world that im dying to sin. It is an inward profession to God that I surrender my life and that i don't want to live the same way so when we go down into a watery grave we die to sin and come up in newness of life.

  • @littlemsgodly And yet you baptize a baby. If a person is less than 18yo then he is not qualified to make a rational decision. Your justification is just an illusion. There is no god, grow up.

  • @littlemsgodly you told her to say yes... this is wrong in my opinion. and i was raised in the church

  • @GhitaJR

    To all the people saying

hurr they forced her to say yes christians r dumb durr

I'm pretty sure they asked her to say yes as an answer, not a demand.

  • @Trivial414 it doesn't even matter if they forced her because baptism ins't any sort of promise, you get confirmed if you want to make a promise. just letting you know, and I agree with you lol

  • Oh, and by the way. Fuck you ignorant niggers straight to fucking Hell for doing this to that poor kid.

  • I saw a kid get baptized once. The pastor held him under for too long and he got water in him, blacked out and nearly drowned. Never was quite the same since that day. He became very antisocial and used to have violent outbursts and used to beat other kids at school. He escaped by reading and learned he could use his violence and aggression and started playing football. He still hated that pastor for what he did to him, until he realized god never existed. That kid was me. Peace.

  • well it doesnt matter if your baptized in a pond as long as its by immersion completely you understand the meaning and the heart is right

  • @littlemsgodly

immersion completely? I was baptised with water poured on my head.

  • @iiBigJoe it's how different christian churches perform baptism

  • I hope the quality of the pool wont make any affect on the quality of the baptism lol. Next time please just use a sink and tell the person this

Girl, pretend mamma is just washing your hair. hahahaha

  • Sadly, modern protestants dont know the meaning of baptism. That´s why the fall in this circus.

  • We didn't make her get baptized she wanted too and we were just repeating there confirmation

  • @littlemsgodly You go ahead and keep on baptizing in the Name of Jesus. Acts 2:38. There is no other name. Acts 4;12 ; Colossians 3:17. Praise the Lord!!

  • @chino7185 god is'nt really dumb fuck go

  • @TheRunescapeStylist The Lord will shut your dirty mouth. God Bless you!!!

  • @chino7185 STFU DONT FUCKING BLESS ME I AM ATHEIST YOU DOUCHE

got proof he is reall NOOOO? evolution seems much more simple..

  • oh wow its only one second i can hold my breath underwater for a minute nd im 9 years old!!!

  • This is'nt right.

  • man im 16, and making my own decision to get baptized. which is tomorrow lol! my parents would never make me.. i would never make my kids.

  • can you say forced

  • A lot of this could have been avoided if someone would have taken the time to sit down with this child and EXPLAIN, what was going to happen and why. This looks a baptism for the sake of saying, yes I was baptised.

  • @teachmedailyGod2 Be careful there, you may find yourself underestimating what kids understand.

    Matthew 19:14

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven

  • What sins? A child is not guilty of the decision until like 12 yrs old.

  • @sspintaz

    John 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

  • @Aaron5464 AMEN!!!! Acts 2:38

  • In my religion baptizing little ones isn't a problem because we dont immerse then in water; just pour little bits of it on their forehead.

  • @laurenalainer4ever There is a problem there. Baptism = submersion of the whole body, all of you has to go under.

    Romans 6:4

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

  • @Aaron5464 According to the bible it never says HOW to baptize. Yes Christ was baptized by immersion but it only says baptism by water; not how much water.

I am a part of the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod).

I attend Bethany Lutheran Church in Kenosha, WI.

This is how we see things.

    .

  • @laurenalainer4ever You said it yourself, Christ led by example, did he not?

    Matthew 10:24

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

I am an apostolic Christian, and I attend Church on the Move in Woodbridge, VA.

This is not only how we see things, this is what is written in the Bible.

  • Okay the preacher was not drowning her she went under for a second

  • mysteryvoice97 i waited patiently for you to show up so glad you came

  • The fact that she had to tell the little girl to say yes lets me know that this child did not understand what was going on and why she was being put under the water. Thats why she didnt just let it happen the first time. That baptism is not gonna change her life or have any effect on her life at all because it wasnt her decision to be baptized.

  • OK...She's waaaay too young to know wat's going on!....If she understood she would've known to say "Yes" herself!... but know that GOD is NOT as concerned with our OUTWORD actions as He is with the sincerety of our heart...she can't be sincere about something that she doesn't even understand...But regardless if she gets baptized again as a consenting adult or mature teenager or not, I DO pray that she comes to the knowledge of the Lord, and walks in His righteousness

  • They force her to say yes

    ...

  • *god's voice* FAIL.

  • you cant only be baptized halfway! you got to go all the way... yep... that's biblical!

  • Why is she wrapped in plastic?

  • say "yes" wtf?

  • Poor thing is confused

  • This is so wrong! Why was the girl told what to say. Being baptized is a serious decision that shouldn't be taken lightly. YOU have to make the conscious decision to be saved. She clearly didn't make the decision on her own in this video. God is not to be played with saints.

  • my friend got baptized

  • Yes god is so fake he just created every living think on the world idiots

  • she did not almost drown

  • omg he wasnt drowning em dumba- nvm ^^

  • The child got to confess for herself AND THIS ONE DIDN'T SOMEBODY CANT SAY IT FOR HER AND THEN TELL HER TO SAY YES SMH

  • God is REAL, and ur going to Hell. srry

  • God is Fake!!

  • yes kiddie pool

  • are they in a kiddie pool?

  • THIS DONT MAKE NOOO DAYUM SINCE...WHAT THE HELLL --- THEY NO BETTER THAN THIS IM CALLING DSS

  • THIS DONT MAKE NOOO DAYUM SINCE...WHAT THE HELLL --- THEY NO BETTER THAN THIS IM CALLING DSS

  • @Capcoor u need to hook urself on getting laid cuz u must hav no life

  • Um is this show called punk?

  • To be baptized with the water you gotta believe with all your heart, to believe with all your heart you gotta first be baptized with the Holy Spirit and be born again, read romans chapter 6 and Acts chapter 8 about Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch, starting from verse 26

  • Bubba u r so right, it's sad that only u n I know truth. What can wash away ur sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus, what can make u pure within nothing but the blood of Jesus. It's by his blood we are save n cleanse, thus said the Lord

  • @duffcola0622 you must be born again of the spirit and of the water

  • @littlemsgodly its probly water from hose
