I looked for Roger on Youtube because he sings a Christmas song on one of our old records - The Rocking carol. Don't understand a word of German... but his voice still sounds great! Just like our old record!

Einer seiner schönsten Songs, Aber mir ist aufgefallen das es hier bei Youtube 2 Versionen gibt achtet mal auf die 1982 er Version. Dort heist "Einer stach den andern nierder schuld war ein schönes Mädchen" Trotz allem ich liebe seine Songs und Albany beschreibt meine Wunsch Heimat Schottland. Irgendwann werde ich dort Leben.

I saw Roger perform in person about 10 years ago in Muskegon, Michigan at the Frauenthal Theatre and his voice sounds just as good here as it did then. He is ageless and a consumate performer. I'd love to see him again if he ever tours the US again.

I love this man, Roger has given more to music than Bob Dylan, Hendrix and the Beatles combined and is still selling records (unlike them cause they are all dead of drugs)

I also heard that just before hie died of drugs John Lennon named Roger as one of his influences for the later Beatles work and said that he was much better at guitar and singing than he was.

All this "without" having to trip out on drugs and cannapis!! so all you who says he's not better can fuck off!

Roger has caught the very special spirit of things in Germany; They are crazy about this "schlagerhits". The rythm is 4/4 (marchmusic!!!) so it's very easy to clap your hands to... Nowhere else in the world can you get away with playback so obviously, and all schlagers have this particular sound to them... And not many Germans speaks english, so they translate everything... For the rest of the world, it's very funny and toecrumpling to watch... Typical German...
