  • Um yeah ok I did it and I sounded like I was saying "Good Eye Mite"......seriously not all Australians sound like crocodile dundee :/

  • Close enough!

  • Comment removed

  • G'day mate**

  • try this mate, G (sound not name) Day (Say the As name not the sound) Mate, very rarely do we say good, we always abreviate it to g'day mate... now although this is considered offensive by some.. i give ya points for tryin to giver a go, not gonna take the piss outa ya, not your fault everyone wants to be australian

  • sounds nothing like us aussies you tool.

  • thats rasist...

  • Okay as an Australian i find the saying Good Day Mate offending by American's alot of Australian's find it offending when ppl mock them i know i do

  • I'm Australian She is trying to say. good day mate.. Oh and by the way if you want to speak like an American just squeeze you snooze closed with your thumb and index finger and say "Can I have a quarter pounder with cheese and a side of ketchup.. or say hi I'm from

    Ohio.. Bloody yanks!

  • fake and gay!!!!!!!!!!

  • lolz awesome. Nice technique.

  • fucking asian sluty bitch

  • Lolz

  • Not a bad effort, but we do say more than "g'day mate", our vocabulary has improved over the last 200 years lmao

  • you should of put "ged A m8" cant fuck that up

  • dont actually think we have an accent but when i go to america ill find out should be easyer to cop a root off some sluts with it

  • Oh my god... -.- Try pronounce G like a 5 year old learning the alphabet but say it like you would the word "great" then say "Day" then say the word "May" like the month and add a "T" at the end and voila, you have G'day Mate. Why is it that everyone wants to speak Australian? (Oh, I forgot, we are all so fucking sexy!) silly me.

  • lucky im already aussie

  • hahaha I'm an aussie and I sounded like a pom from liverpool XD

  • Haha it's a fair crack at saying it only if your American though, sound like an idiot if your Aussie

  • Eh? Could be worse but this doesn't sound at all like an average Australian. Sounds more like an Italian Australian.

  • the funny thing is when i say "Good Eye Mites" in my australian accent it just sounds like im saying "good Eye mites" it only works if you have an american accent

  • I love how she pronounces the word Australian, it sounds like she is saying Ostrillian

  • crocodile dundee says g'day mate not good eye mite. and it's short for good day mate

  • haha an aussie saying that sounds like a wanker!

  • holy drugs?

  • She's on crack.

  • the accent is all wrong..go back to school

  • um... some of us australians DO NOT sound like tha.t it all depends where you live in australia. GOSH

  • your a cunt

  • hahah mateeee the aussie accent is a hard one, but its just because weve have heapss of slang and tbh, were just lazy with it, but i love it, im australian and proud to be a true one <3

  • Haha this cracked me up! of course it's oversimplifying it, of course it's only 3 words spoken like someone from beyond the bush but it made me laugh anyway! ;0)

btw, us brits, we *luuuuuurve aussie accents (real ones) *99.9% guaranteed

  • @Alexfromherts What do you mean real ones?

  • shes on the piss.

  • @NastyshoesxXxX If piss is "drunk" in aussie, what's "pissed"? (as in the mad kind of pissed?) :o

  • @kmde666 nobody said it had to make sense

  • @kmde666 Don't know if this is a rhetorical question but I'm answering it anyway haha. I have never heard that drunk = piss. Drunk = pissed. Like he's so pissed (he's so drunk) or there is really angry/mad which also = pissed. Just depends on how you say it. Cause every Aussie knows which one we're going on about

  • @kmde666 it's the same word different context

  • none of us even say "g-day mate" anymore xD

(at least in sydney we don't)

  • @Beaniekid99 you sydney people are f'ed up

  • @TheCrunchifiedOne because we dont talk like total bogans?

  • LMFAO

  • lol we sound nothing like that but close, nice try lol. Jamacian saying bacon 'beer can'

  • @stainlesschords lol!! lemme get some eggs and beercan!!

  • @SashimiTV classic :)

  • @stainlesschords That's British beer can bacon Jamaican thing

stop stealing shit from us you idiot convicts

  • @blahmehblah1 errrr wtf? jealous of our dental much?

  • @stainlesschords wow what a weak stereotype

    I hate stereotypes

  • @blahmehblah1 you hate stereotypes yet you stereotypically referred to Australians as convicts.... wow what an idiot! Im guessing from your stereotypical point of view that your just another stereotypically whining pom?

  • @stainlesschords Calling white Australians convicts is in no way a stereotype

calling you guys dumb is a stereotype

you were convicts, that is how you became, your ancestors stole loafs of bread and we sent their arses to a foreign country. You are us in every way, you call us poms, that makes you one too

  • @blahmehblah1 so your giving me shit because im you? You retard. For a start, we are not convicts... SOME of our ancestors were, yes, but we are not. Also, Im from South Australia which just happens to be the sole colony settled freely by ex-convicts, CITIZENS & POLICE from England. Take a look back into your lineage and im sure some of your ancestors hit the lock up, does this make you a convict now? no. Also, calling us convicts, by definition, a stereotype. Good English education i guess!

  • @stainlesschords Okay let's begin to see where this argument started, oh yes, you took the beer can bacon thing from us

that was ours, get your filthy fucking hands off it. You already have our slang words, be satisfied.

    G'day git

  • @blahmehblah1 ummmmmm how bout make me looser! Nothing you can do about it for a start, secondly its well weak that ur shitty over slang terminology, thirdly if you're so adamant that we are merely english offshoots then it only goes to stand that we share a great deal of culture and fourth.... we are still part of the british empire. Get over it you fuckin chav! :)

  • 4 different aussie accents perth, adelaide, brisbane abbo

  • have a captain cook at that idiot mate/ whats so funny u jack ass yank /.

  • OMG OMG OMG that is so true very tru i have pissed myself laughing

  • haha what a fuckhead! If you weren't laughing at yourself so much you might not sound so ridiculous to us aussies listening to this

  • Ewww eye mites!!

  • haha this is funny cause it's so wrong. It's G'day mate. Not good eye. If your an actual Aussie you just say good eye not G'day. We're not all walking Paul Hogans. Plus we rarely say it. I say G'day but not mate after it. I'm still trying to say it how she told us to and it's not working. I'm just saying good eye mites. I'm not even close to G'day mate

  • @auzziemate1

I was born in Australia, and I agree with you; it's not good eye mite, it's g'day mate.

  • if u say beer can with a british accent... it sounds like bacon with a Jamaican accent

  • damn lady, you sound nothing like an aussie

  • you bloody yobbo, you have no idea about our accents your a disgrace ay Sheila?

  • dickhead !!!!...and that wasn't meant in a good way ...although it can be ..but something tells me you wouldn't get that .

  • the whole "AUSTRALIANS ALL SOUND LIKE CROCODILE DUNDEE" stereotype is incredibly annoying. the closest thing i ever found to my south australian accent was a video of a british guy trying to do a subtle northern american accent.

  • @clockworkhearts would you tell me the title of that video.?

  • Everybody knows Australia is a small city in Oceania.

  • if silly = funny then funny = this vid

  • The only way to make an Aussie or a New Zealand accent is if you are British and lived in Texas, my mum is from England and we know alot of people from England and one of them sounds so New Zealand while the others sound Ausie

  • Fuckface. I'm More Australian then you'll ever be. Its the hardest accent to learn. You can't just get it in 2 minutes. It takes years. Like TROLL4x4 said, the world' top actors still fail at it.

  • Fail with a capital F, its pronounced how its spelt, G DAY MATE

  • I love Australian accents and anything to do with australia!

Me and my frend can say most words with an Aussie accent my favourite word is blue!

We both watch Bondi beach rescue and fell in love with aussies even though I urned down moving to australia when i was 6 i would definetly move there now!

  • um u fail. aussies rule.

  • lol, um, nice try but that'll just make us laugh at another person getting it completely wrong.

  • I think you meant G'Day Mate. I am Australian and you did not do the Australian accent

  • i might be nit picking but i don't think any aussie would actually say "g'day mates" in the plural. if an aussie was greeting one friend he would say "g'day mate" but if he was greeting a group of friends he'd more likely say "g'day fuckheads" or something similar. THUMBS BITCHES!!!

  • Stupid Yank, the title of this video should have been: How to make a complete dickhead of your self.

  • typical american, so ignorant, they probably don't even know where australia is. oh, and it isn't pronounced "good eye mites" clearly you need to get your ears checked if you think "g'day" sounds like that.

  • no one can say "where's the closest maccas" without sounding american

  • @ZeeDugong Except for the fact that Maccas is the Australian nickname for McDonalds. Last I heard Americans did not call it that...

  • not even paul hogan sounds like this

  • u have no life.

  • such a bull shit...fuck off bitch..

  • You racist Ass hole

  • haha, i just said it like a thousand times !

  • Nice try, but not quite there....

I get asked all the time where I'm from, even by Australians, because my accent isn't the typical Aussie accent, very mild compared to most until I'm with my family and then it all comes out. I have found that if I talk like I usually would, (as in with my normal accent), American's struggle to understand! Living in North America, that's not a good thing. :(

  • tbh i think it works !

  • good eye mites?what an insult!

  • "Aussies" are what Americans call Australian. Australian who call Australians "Aussies" are uneducated illiterate inarticulate hicks

  • This accent is about Australian as a backwood hick hillbilly accent is a New England, northeastern accent. All very humourous I'm sure for ignorant Americans. We know you speak "American" there. Here, we speak English. We know it is a 2nd (foreign) language to ya'all folks, but hot-dig-adity-damn there ya be ya see good fellows..

  • naaaw, this vid is cute! To my Aussie mates, don't bag her, can you really blame the chick for wanting to sound like us? We have the best accent in the world!

  • The Aussie Accent is the hardest, its something that cant be cracked.

The worlds top actors & impersonators still fuck up it.

  • @TROLL4x4 no NZ accent is more harder than aussie one..

  • @kindersurprise8 u just replace every " I " or "E" with a "U" for almost every word and there u have it.. a NZ accent! The easiest accent in the world to do.. there's sux hundrid and suxty sux people at the fush und chup shop... U can even do it typing on here thats how easy it is.lol anyone can do it

  • @TROLL4x4 Do you really have knowledge of NZ accent? your knoledge is wrong. I know "I" is pronounced 'u' but "e"is pronounced 'ee'. Its way harder than aussie for me

  • @kindersurprise8 the kiwi accent is hard for you & you only.

The Australian accent is the hardest to impersonate flawlessly in the entire english language.. and its the best

  • @TROLL4x4 im into aussie accents though my english is poor but i bet I have better aussie accent than american challengers

  • @kindersurprise8 u need to post up video calling out the yanks ( americans ) in a aussie accent showdown.

  • @TROLL4x4 Id like to try if theres a script. if ur an aussie im sorry for disturbing you!

  • @kindersurprise8 good idea, and yes im West Aussie, and no your not bothering me

  • @TROLL4x4 Do you really have right knowledge of NZ accent? I think its wrong. I know "I" is pronounced 'uh' but "e"is pronounced 'ee'. and 'and'is not pronounced 'und' but is 'end' these pronunciations are totally way harder than aussie one for me.

  • @kindersurprise8 wow for someone who thinks the NZ language is hard u sure know an awfull lot about the kiwi accent lol .. I live in Australia right next to NZ .. i know Kiwis i speak to them every day at work almost. and every single australian can do a kiwi accent.. but hardly any kiwis can do a aussie accent..

You live in japan? no where near australia or newzealand & u dont see speak to kiwis so forgive me for saying. wtf would u know? You couldnt even tell the difference between the 2

  • @TROLL4x4 I can tell the difference..

  • @TROLL4x4 Robert Downey Jr did an alright one, BUT he is the only person, all other people make it sound terrible.

  • @MrKlonam lol classic fuckn movie.. tropic thunder

  • awkward because you still don't sound australian....

  • Lol. xD

  • You don't sound Australian. This stereotype is offensive. You will not win friends in Australia being so patronising as this stupid attempt to say something that only Australians can say. Don't bother, just say "hi" and people might even like you in Australia.

  • Hahaha

  • I personally dont sound like that and i'm 100% australian. i dont even say G'day mate. I mean i say Mate alot, but its more like ''Hows It goin' May-te''

  • I'm british doesn't work for me maybe it's just Americans

  • NO ONE IN AUSTRALIA SAYS mite its maate and its not good eye (meant to sound like gooday) its G'Day (ggeed-day)

  • I live with a seppo and he's been here nearly 20 years. the cunt still hasn't dropped the septic accent though.

  • its not proper

  • I'm Aussie, I don't find this offensive :D

Its actually... a bit funny XD

  • I'm Aussie, and this wasn't offensive, it was just worthless, with very little or no entertainment value. Your not a performer lady, try a different hobby.

  • this video i found very offensive

  • Americans are obviously better than Australians anyways. We can mock ANY accent, they can't.

  • @boy0dizzy What are you talking about?

  • eye mites sound rly painful..

  • ahahahhahahahahahahaha!!! but americans also seem to be retarded with their fake smiles)

  • Just like to say that this is crap. This sounds like a try hard. We don't sound like that, & it's not cool that you're ripping on us like that. You fail.

  • sorry lady u fail

    its mayteh not mite.

  • are u kidding me. I'm american and proud to be american. first of all A LOT OF AMERICAN IMITATE AUSTRALIAN ACCENTS BECAUSE THEY WERE AMAZING!!!! u need to chill out. Nobody is mocking u . cnt u tell me wants an australian accent. I visited australia a couple yrs ago and LOVED IT AND DIDNT WANNA COME HOme. i really wanted to get u guys accent but i didnt. so b4u try2call someone a cunt u f***** bitch, make sure uhav ur facts rite. n u guys do say good aye mate so dont lie, i hav frnds there

  • lol

  • lol i laughed my but ooff, andd i showed my friend, she was like woooow...

  • This is a load of crap. NO Australians sound like this, maybe you should actually talk to a real aussie person and then try and learn our accent.

  • @13dancenow i talked with a real aussie person and he sounded just like this "aiy"!!!

  • @13dancenow Some do actually.

  • @13dancenow

    I talk like that...

  • @13dancenow maybe fucking farmers in rural nsw but youre right that was fucked

  • lmfao this just soo funny even on the repeats ahahahahaha good eye mites lmfao

    ...cooee cobber.

..no bull I think I should watch this video at least once a day until the novelty wears off, if for no other reason then to hear the sheila's joy and laughter as she thinks she got it down pat, annnd bugger off to all the wankers that are offended somehow...thicken ya skins mates...this is genuinely funny stuff.

    thnx again SashimiTV ^_~)

  • "If we look at ourselves through their eyes, we would see why they hate us" !!

  • lmfao..... good eye mite <3 aussie aussie aussie

  • @Morgazmz OI OI OI

  • ok no just no.

    first it's: G'day mate

and second: we don't say it like giggling idiots and say normal things like hello, hey and hi.

  • Yankee here. It's all english.......mate!

  • There is WAY more than 1 Australian accent. Most people don't sound like "gidoy moyte", that's ridiculous. That's like saying redneck American accents are the only American accent. Most of us do not sound redneck like what you're saying and most of us do not say gday or mate.

  • @Jennivision I lived in Sydney for 10 years and yes majority of you say Gooday vegemate.

  • @sukebegaijin1 lmao

  • bloody! this piss talk mate should right goer at some real slang !

  • And no. It doesn't sound like that in QLD either guys. It only sounds like that when someone who is American and dissatisfied with belonging to a weak charactered culture based in manipulation and not substance of its own standing. Want to be an Aussie love. Sorry. Just posting that means you have a fat chance.

  • Gday blokes and Sheila's, This bird and her yanki friends don't have a bloody clue what they are talking about. Struth, i would like to see them head out to the black stump drinkin a flaggon and go walkabout for a bit. Bet they would hit the frog n toad before ya got them past the red rock into Arnemland. Settle yanks. You have plenty going for you like a war based economy that is failing. If you build a house on unstable footings that will happen. Good luck with that. Jase in Nippon

  • It is funny that americans just cant do it. Notice i did not use a capital A in americans. That was no accident, it was in fact purposely done. As a specialist in English language and not simply someone who has completed a TESOL or CELTA i have been exposed to the damage inflicted upon the english language by Americans. Guys.

  • FAIL

  • So much hate in the comments, over a simple video.

I don't see why some people get so raged up on when other people try to do accents of their country. Mad, idiotic people.

  • @arieas i love it how two people out of the whole population say shit like that and you call us all mad idiotic people,, why dont you stop stereotyping us btw the reason they do say stuff like that is because of people like you calling us mad and idiotic ect.

  • @elkey2209 You misinterpreted what I wrote. I was not pointing the blame at whole populations, I was pointing the blame at the individuals. Most of the people are not bothered by others doing accents, just light-hearted humour most of the time.

  • What I have right here is a poisonous bush snake =

What oy ave royt ee-yah is a poisonous bush snoik.

  • It's more like 'gud-A mAte. Heavy on the A's. And a big hi to my fellow country men who seem to think swearing at each other consititutes a valid argument. Way to further the stereotype of Australians

  • Mate yer she may be a fucking yank but you are a total fuckstick I just was saying that you give Aussies a bad name like bogan & shit you fucking say things like fuch off you cunt nice way with words you are not to intelligent are you, you ambaries all Australians you fuchen pork chop you have a big mouth on the net how about I give you my address & you drop round so I can kick you in the cunt you dick jokey ................

  • I bet you have no fucken pubic hair yet you little cock sucker any time you would like to drop in you adolescent fuch I’ll oblige or shut the fuck up Nigel.

  • its more: gah-dAY mAYte

  • so much rage over a little video? people take shit to heart too much, this is obviously just somebody tryna have some fun....

  • Not really

  • Lol good one =]

  • With most of the nasty Australian comments here, they are the 'Septic Tanks'.

  • @GrumpSkull Don't blame us for that label! Blame ur leaders. I'm Aussie & only started hearing Yanks (affectionate, not meant offensively) called "Septic Tanks" (meant 2b very offensive, based on our rhyming slang/cultural vernacular) during the Bush Admin. The way ur government acts as self appt. overseer of the world has rly pissed off most people outside America. Eg: Why can America have nuclear weapons enough to destroy the world 50x over but make war on Iraq for MAYBE having a few WMDs?

  • @SharnsiR I am an Australian too and can recognise when someone 'giving it a go' does not need to be insulted for not getting it right. Shure, they suck but some constructive criticism would be better.

The term 'Septic tank' has been around before the Bush admin and you explained it pretty right, it was more of a rhyming joke but does at times get used to be offensive too.

Americans don't call them septic tanks and they don't seem to like what their government is full of either.

  • @GrumpSkull Oh sorry, I didn't realise you were Australian. I'm sure the term has been around a lot longer and probably did begin as harmless rhyming slang. I'm just saying I first heard it at that time because it's probably when people started using it more, especially in negative way. You're right too, a lot of Americans don't agree with what their leaders have been doing for the last decade, so that's why I said they should blame their leaders and not themselves.

  • There is no 'Good' in G'day.

'Mate' is pronounced more like Mayte.

You got to get the A's right - Aye!

Don't shape sounds with the mouth as much, it is lazy and keeps the flies out too.

In Queensland you put an 'Aye' at the end of every statement as a form of confirmation. The lazy and slightly less annoying equivelent of 'You know what I'm sayin'.

  • @VMJBCS I really hope you're kidding, because if not, you're really ignorant.

  • @ilikepaperplates2 no im not im just stating the truth

  • btw if you said g'day mates in australia like that you would get slapped across the face. just lettin you no so if you do say it like that in aus u cant sue them because i told you it would happen

  • @VMJBCS

Tell you what! Some people are a little sensitive. I'm true blue and I thought it was a fucken crack up! Well done to the author of the video and for all you Aussies who take offence to this, pull your head in. Being able to laugh at ourselves is one of our finer points

  • @robbocop83 you know what now that u think of it that way it is funny,

having a good time laughing at someones epic fail,

anyway thery're trying to be like us so we must be awesome :)

  • @VMJBCS haha we don't spell "mum" right because we don't pronounce it like that.

  • @ilikepaperplates2 yeah its coz you dont pronounce/spell anything normal

  • @VMJBCS normal to you.

did you not realize (or realise) there's no such thing as "normal?"

  • @ilikepaperplates2 um.....yeah there is

  • what the fuck is wrong with you we sound nothing like that. we sound more normal than you americans. americans cant even spell mum right. so dont you dare try and talk like an australian like that and btw it g'day mate

  • your a poof mate

  • that was a piss weak attempt at being one of us.................your not

  • as an aussie, you are a fail!
