  • That girl was pissed!

  • Do you think it's better to throw a two-wing rang holding the front or the back wing?

  • @cclementi6 The boomerangs are shown as an upside down "V" shape (as shown at the start of the video ).

The right wing is called the throwing arm/ wing, the left is called the dingle arm/wing .Normally a boomerang is thrown from the right wing .The balsa wood is so light you have to throw from the left to get enough spin .Giant maga boomerangs 4'-9' across are also thrown from the left dingle wing in order to get enough spin.

  • @cclementi6 Typicly the throwing wing on the right allows for better aim and control of the angle of release , try both and see what you like .There are some boomerangs (big C shaped type ) that are best thrown from the elbow the top point middle. I threw boomerangs last night made from long paint sticks they are best thown from the elbow. Try all possobilities and fly them the best way for each type of boomerang.

  • the lady should know how to step aside so she wont get hit.

  • I love your videos and find them incredibley helpful. Have you ever made a boomerang out of MDF board?

  • @NotNamedJones I have a few links in this video description , look at the how to make album . I havnt made any MDF boards have you ? What quality do you like about it ?

  • @NotNamedJones I just found your comment (not all are sent to me ) . I havnt made any from MDF board .Visit Boomerang Talk forum and see the info they have on that subject .

  • wow that is crazy awesome

  • I made one with solid state explosives inside the wings or arms. The booms then explode when they reach a certain temperature.

We then dumped a box load on a village and it didn't take long for the villagers to start throwing them. The results were hilarious.

  • im making my 4th one for camping this weekend. your site has been a great help. hopefully my friends dont break it!

  • Be sure to see my how to make boomerang gallery ,and my how to tune boomerangs video .Look up tuning /warping boomerangs on you tube.

  • There are a several really good websites with hundreds of plans.Pay close attention to airfoil and tune instructions.I will post links in this video description.

  • labtec- you are at the incredible phase of making boomerangs for the first time ! You will be amazed at what differences the shapes and tune will make .

  • What is the best for long distance throw? i am still amazed after i saw that man throwing 400 m @_@

  • Long distance (LD) boomerangs have an airfoil with minimal lift it splits the airstream nearly even top/ bottom .They can fly over 5 city blocks.

  • Look up "Be Agressive "boomerangs its a web site dedicated to LD . I 'm not into that , like it but nowhere big enough for me to throw like that .

  • Thx for info.

  • nice video

  • HI. good videos man. i'm starting on boomerang world...i'm from Chile .made my first tree blade (MDF wood)from "doubli" plan found on internet...and it works!! Now i have a four blade and it's even better. I'm working on 3 layer plywood (it's the only choice in my country) and works fine for small boomerangs. Bigger ones tends to twist airfolis.

    Sorry 'bout english.

    Bye and thanks !!

  • you are a master!

i made some boomerangs with my Grade 6 class, some broke when they hit the ground, most never came back :(

  • Most boomerangs will break if thrown side armed horizontal , they climb high and slice down going so fast it breaks .Thrown correctly the hover down.

  • If you ever try to make boomerangs with a class again write me for tips before hand .I can tell you what to avoid and what to try to do right .

  • really? great! Could I send you photos of what we made so you can see if it looks ok?

  • Tell me wood you used, thickness ,what tools used.Newbies make mistakes throwing and making them ,it can be a challenge.

  • yes send photos , youthenrichment@fuse(dot)com

  • I have a boomerang like that I bought the other day. It does not work so well, I was out all afternoon practicing and it only came back to me about twice.

Where can I get a really nice one? I live in Colorado. I noticed there are some ones that have a start like design that seem to work well.

  • I just got back from vacation . These are easy beginner rangs .I also make ones that go further click the description 2 see my catalogs!

  • This video shows diffrences of flight just from added weight or decreased wing size. One is super easy at 20'the other takes a hard throw at 50+ feet.

  • Google Colorodo boomerangs .They have the best directions with many tips . Join a boomerang forum to learn more or write me with questions.

  • Thanks for the video, I just purchased a bunch of boomerangs and started to throw them, I noticed you seem to throw them revese to the way I throw them, Why is that?

  • Ordinarily you do hold the other wing .Because these are light balsa the dingle arm / wing is perfered .Big mega boomerangs are thrown that way as well .

  • Just write me or the other boomerang makers.Store type often dont work .I already wrote you, look in your mail box.

  • ive seen a lot of youre videos and i like boomerangs

a lot where do you think i can buy a "v" shaped adult

    boomerang?

  • The ages mentioned are for boys of average physical strength . A younger child may be able to throw the older boys rangs if they practice hard . The 50' takes an older boy that can throw very fast , hard.

  • 2 winged Balsa wood boomerangs are almost unheard of .Most simply make cross sticks instead .2 winged rangs fly further and return slower. You need to aim more precisely though.

  • The second group of boomerangs shown is the plain back side .I was showing the weights glued down.
