This game brings back so many memories! I remember spending all my lunch money on Midnight Resistance and Street Fighter II after school in the local chippies and I still remember the first time I finally clocked it! I had to beg my parents to buy me a C64 just so I could clock the damn thing as it was eating up all my 20p's; was alot of money for a 12 year old back then! Thanks for the video! Old Skool games rule!
wow this game was amazing , there was nuffin better for a 6 year old kid than running round as a badass comando dude shooting everyone wiv cool guns to sum cool music haaa the gud old days :)
Thanks so much for the memories. I never had enough keys for everyone and had to choose people to leave behind every time. That probably scarred me to this very day. ;)
This all brings back memories of circa 1991/92 :-) I am very happy to read all these posts. The poster on here seems to have cloked this game, but I had a cheat to this, can't remember what it was - I paid around £130 for my commodore and still have it to this day in my shed :-) Cheers all.
would that cheat of been to get on the score board then type siamese when it shows the top scores? lol, how sad is it that i remember that after 15 years or so of not touching it lol
Flipping ek matey, you have rolled back the years lol - I completely forgot. I was actually tempted to dig it out of my shed the other day - how sad is that - I must have had one beer to many. Incidentally, if you go on youtube, type 'batman on amiga' brilliant music and brings back a whole heap of memories - this was around in 1988.
I got this game with the "Night Moves" pack, which also included Shadow Warriors,Sly Spy,and Nightbreed. I remember this great game well..if you typed in "Siamese" on the screen where you put in your name after its game over, you got infinite lives...but my version of the game only had 5 levels. After level 5,you had the end screen, and that was it. I'd no idea that my version of the game was incomplete like that, and that even more levels were supposed to be played!
I also had the "Nightmoves" pack, which I got lumped in with my C64. I also had no idea the game was incomplete, as I wasn't good enough to get past the razor boss at the top of the lift.
Isn't the whole point of this game the fact that the heroes can spin their torsos 360 degrees and shoot in all directions? Kinda loses something when you take that away. This music is awesome though- love the c64 sound chip!
my Midnight is only 5 levels :(

Level 7 was the best, the harbour level, loved the music! Level 6 was also good, and the final level (9) was a bit strange, but still great.

yea i think i had that version where after you kill the helicopter on level 5 you go into the room where you unlock your family.
the climbing down the ladder part was pain since the screen was up most of the time.
Homing missiles were a nuisance as they were slower, and never used to lock on your targets much. I never realised how effective Nitro was!

strange I dont remember anything from 2:20 onwards. i think my version of the game stopped there. or perhaps I just forgot.

There was a version which contains just the first 5 levels. I think it was some kind of a bad crack.

Brilliant! The last few levels were a bit silly, with the "aliens". Of course, I never got that far!
The damned tree on level 3 was my downfall...
