  • PUBLIC LYNCHING!!! PUBLIC LYNCHING!!!PUBLIC LYNCHING!!! PUBLIC LYNCHING!!!PUBLIC LYNCHING!!! PUBLIC LYNCHING!!!PUBLIC LYNCHING!!! PUBLIC LYNCHING!!!PUBLIC LYNCHING!!! PUBLIC LYNCHING!!!

  • "His is a city that denigrates and divides Torontonians."

Give me a fucking break. David Miller divided Torontonians. Thanks to this election, Ford has become the conduit of every grievance most of us has up to now walked around in silence about. The powerless, now feel empowered, that's why Ford leads the debate. Look at every group that's come out attacking Ford & u clearly see why we need him to root out their power influence.

U fringe interests think u speak for the whole city. Wrong!

  • @dentrobate54 " The powerless, now feel empowered," how so? What has Ford done or said that made you feel that?

  • Ben what do you do for a living ?

  • What does same sex marriage have to do with mayoral issues? Smitherman's a typical homo, pushing his agenda, the gay mafia, trying to bully their lifestyle of the rest of society. Ford for mayor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FUCK SLITHERMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @skinny12331 Mayors have influence, their ideas have agency within civil society. Ford's comment indicates that he thinks sexuality should exist merely in the bedroom. Sexuality, however does not end at just the sheets it is all around us whether that be straight, gay, bi or trans. Comments like this make some people feel justified in hurting or harming people who identify as queer, it is a vilification of the other. It is deplorable and needs to be challenged.

  • @votebenbergen Not agreeing with same sex marriage is deplorable? That's an unbeleivable viewpoint, being honest is not politecally correct I guess. As Trudeau once said, sexuality belongs only in the bedroom, let's cut the wasteful spending and cut the b.s wannabe issues.

  • @skinny12331 Not believing people should have equal rights is deplorable and should be challenged. He is allowed to have his opinions, but it doesn't make it right. You realize when Trudeau made that comment it was illegal for people of the same sex to have intimate relations in the bedroom. He was supporting equal rights. We agree on something, the city does need to cut wasteful spending however it doesn't need to be done by a mouth piece that treats minorities and the homeless abhorrently.

  • 1) What do you do for a living ?

    2) This is one of the easiest countries in the world to become a citizen . If you can't do the very very little we ask to commit to this country and become a citizen you don't deserve a vote . I don;t believe British Subjects should be allowed .

  • @hanksnow82 Are right-wingers even TRYING to not be racist assholes?

  • I think Mr. Ford should be held accountable for what he says. His level of discourse has been more than a little disturbing, and his carte blanche refusal to consider better bike lanes - something that makes so many European cities (and Montreal) - world class, just goes to show that he isn't interested in dialogue or compromise. The future is innovation and creativity; the old models of city building/planning are quickly becoming irrelevant to all but a stubborn few.

  • @mattorero

If Ford should be held accountable for his words, so should SmitherFRAUD. Like the time he told a Rossi aide to "GO FUCK HERSELF!", called optometrists "TERRORISTS" when pleading with him not to delist eye-exams affecting 1/10th of all Ontarians, wore a diaper into Queens Pk to justify making seniors wade in filth.

FYI - Ford has a massive bike lanes plan covered in his transportation plan.

FYI - That video clip dates back 4 years. Ford's views have obviously evolved since.

  • i almost like those selected Ford comments. although a little rough in the intended context, it sounds like someone who doesn't have a hand up his arse moving his mouth.

i'm an avid cyclist and I think the bike lane thing has already surpassed what was necessary... let's be honest.... there's better side streets to use than any bike lane road anyways--but i rather enjoy swimming with the sharks.

  • THANK GOD ROB FORD IS RUNNING FOR MAYOR OF OUR GREAT CITY.

    STOP THE NEW WORLD ORDER

    ONWARD TO LIBERTY!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Coldshot89 How is Ford going to lead anyone to liberty? The guy wanted MORE of the G20 oppression, remember?

  • There is nothing wrong with your page but there is plenty wrong with you . Anyone that thinks people that are not citizens of Canada should be able to vote should be hung . Your idea to solve the problem of traffic congestion is another tax which after all is the cure for everything if your a hard core lefty . Just one question Ben since you seem to omit one thing from your web site , what do you do for a living ?

  • @hanksnow82 I'm assuming your comment is hyperbole, "hanging people". I supporting permanent residents getting the vote. They are taxes payers on income and property. They also have access a plethora of public benefits, education, healthcare. Inclusion is the essence of democracy and community. Your language makes debate stifling and extreme. However, I will do the unthinkable and meet you for a cup of coffee to talk about issues further if you wish: we can even film it and place it on youtube.

  • @votebenbergen did the coffee event happen?

  • @hanksnow82 Um, you do know that threatening to kill people for no reason, is a FELONY, right?

  • This guy is a total goof just check out his web page .

  • @hanksnow82 what don't you like about the web page: modern design, the colour blue or the sketch my renowned artist Kent Monkman????

  • This video is completely ridiculous. Taking quotes out of context/ not airing them in their entirety is sending false information. Plus it's a terrible editing job.

  • @ladha187 no they are not taken out of context which is what makes them so haunting: you can look them up on Youtube or any new website.

  • As soon as Smitherman accounts for every penny of e-health, I'll take him seriously. If Smitherman's track record is any indication of what he'd do as Mayor, truly, Toronto can not afford him. $1 billion lost an his explanation on CFRB was "we all make mistakes and I've learned from mine". Wow. Pretty cavalier attitude towards pissing $1B down the drain... oops?!

  • Fantastic and well done! For more on Rob Ford and his war against bicyles, join One

    Toronto .ca

    Go Ben Go!

  • Rob Ford wants to get rid of the streetcars. Most Toronto TTC riders like the streetcars, suburbanites who are in love with their cars don't. There is a shortage of them because of their age (30 years), but replacing them with buses will mean more drivers and more buses (streetcars carry more people). Streetcars do not cause congestion, it is the single-occupant automobiles that cause congestion. Voting for Rob Ford is a mistake.

  • what's wrong with supporting traditional marriage? and you're convinced that smitherman will DO ANYTHING about the homeless? Why don't you go to dixon and take a look what he's done to clean it up! why don't you put up a video on smitherman squandering billions at e-health? Can you make a song about that as well? Anyone but Rob Ford.....wow and you're running for elections too? HAHA

  • @1Torlaw by supporting only traditional marriage Ford is giving voice to those who don't think same sex couple should have equal protection under the law. Which I think is reprehensible: analogous comments on interracial marriage would not be unchecked in the public discourse. I think the same should go for same sex couple. Ford is allowed to think what he wants however his opinions on the matter reveal his nature of being intolerant. I'm not supporting Smitherman either....

  • @1Torlaw "Traditional marriage" (which, by the way, is a totally inaccurate term), is a pointlessly discriminating institution. There is NO RATIONAL REASON to ban gays from getting married.

  • amazing song, amazing candidate.
