I love the FAL, but at $400 it is a hell of a lot for the same quality as many other ~$250-$300 guns. That's why I went with the CA G3 (SAR M41) instead. The reason the FAL series aeg is so expensive is most likely due to legal rights towards the gun design.

While I enjoy real firearms, unfortunately I cannot get with a group of friends and go shoot one another with them.. airsoft is like playing paintball (slightly more tactical, less dirty). You ought to try it sometime.. maybe you won't find it so dumb.

If you do a google search for "FAL", the second hit is the manufacturer of my rifle. Doesn't say "FN FAL" anywhere on the page.

The third youtube hit on "FAL" is a very useful disassembly video that doesn't contain "FN" anywhere, and doesn't show up in a search for "FN FAL". Possibly the most useful FAL video on youtube.

it goes with what you said about fps not being everything. a supra expensive supra high fps aeg would be useless on that field. rpm's and aesthetics come before fps in the list of priorities. i was agreeing

I have this rifle. I need a video on how to take out and reinstall the mechbox properly. I finaly got mine apart after breaking the selector plate, selector gear and selector lever in the process. I need a diagram for where all the little parts go inside the receiver. When I got the mechbox out all kinds of gears and stuff fell out of the receiver.

I'd say the Star L85A2 (same as SA80). 'Cause the 7.62 mm for the FAL/G3/PSG-1 is kinda thick and hard to carry around (it's boxy). The L85A2 has a 5.56 mag which is pretty compact.

That shows how much u know, I have 3 guns: 2 KWA Glocks and a CA SAR M41 Offizier FS.. the KWAs crono at about 310fps each after all the upgrades.. My CA fires about 360fps with all the upgrades, although I used to have an M120spring in it, which, in congunction with my tightbore barrel was firing at 430fps, but i lowered it because i lost RATE OF FIRE..

Lol you better be greatful you got a TM. They can run for 150,000 rounds with an m120 STOCK. They are SOOO reliable. This just proves your a noob and you wont spend 15 bucks to get an m120. Thats if if you even know how to open up a gearbox... noob. Never judge a gun by stock fps. Cause if you take the game seriously you would never consider leaving your gun stock unless your a big noob
