You are a legend and your heroic qualities have aptly been expressed in the use of rhythm and sound to unite the Igbo nation. You have made an indelible mark in our history as your music leaves on. • my great club, PEOPLE'S CLUB OF NIGERIA...rest in peace Mr.Osadebe

  • can someone explain the link between Osadebe and Oliver De Coque, they both refer to the People's Club of Nigeria and Star Social club alot as well as use eachothers lyrics and concepts.

  • Captownstateofmind, in my little understanding, I think the similarities exhibited are because both were Igbos, members of People's Club (a prominent Igbo social club after the war), Star Social club. Also, both came from Anambra State and did play ekpiri music, from which they graduated to what they were. However, Oliver had his powerful Congo-style guitar, which Osadebe lacks. Osadebe is slower and more philosophical. Hope I tried. But others can offer more insights.
