I honestly cant remember the last time someone trained by Emanuel Steward actually won a fight. He seems to ruin fighters when he takes over. He took over Lennox Lewis - next fight, lost. He took over Naseem Hamed - next fight, lost. Jermain Taylor - same.

Steward doesn't have a clue and people need to stop calling him legendary. Seriously. Listen to him at the start of this video - "Pavlik is taylor made for Jermain". ......look what happened. The guy is an idiot.

Emanuel has created more world champions than anybody in boxing. The Kronk Boxing gym had 5 differnt world champion at one time.

As of recently Emanuel he has really become more of a cornor man. Most of these big name fighters he dosent work with them everyday,he just over see's all the training and creates the fight plan

Nassem Hammed didnt want too train that was his problem. Lennox is one of greatest Heavyweights thanks to Steward Know what your talking about before you trash a guy

Kelly Pavlik had a good style for Jermain he just had too much power for him Lets not forget Jermain was winning the fight on the score cards before he was knocked out.

Naseem Hamed used too blow up in weight,and late in his Career stopped training hard Emanuel complained about that and refused too work with him Barrera is a great fighter no shame in losing to him

All of those guys were good until Manny took over. His tactical awareness is rubbish. Many legendary fighters have lost IMMEDIATELY after Manny took over the reigns. That's all I'm saying and that's FACTUAL.

The irony is that Taylor was better in defeat than he's been for his last several fights. He made a school boy error in tiring himself out too early and credit to Pavlik, he showed he has a chin and to get a stoppage against Taylor is impressive

His job is to throw punches to defeat his opponent. If he is successful you have to attribute that to skill and proper training, NOT LUCK.
