No need to feel ashamed, I am in the same boat. 22 years old and I will say that our generation has become lost for some reason. Back then things seemed to be very wholesome and carefree. Nowadays the world is filled with cut-throat despair and severe hatred. I say the same about music. 80s and 90s music was much greater than today. Glad these shows and music still exist so that we can realize what a better generation that was.

I mean, yes...you have a point there, but you still have to admit that the ways in which things are today are much different than they were in the 90s, 80s and earlier. Much has changed that's allowed the world to become crazier. There was much more respect, morals and pride in oneself and country back then, now its just as you said: cut throat.
