  • You gotta be pretty fuckin sad an pathetic to let a title of a movie ruin it for you great movie fuck the title idc if it was called season of the ponies cock an balls exstraveganza te movie was fuckin great

  • sammy davis jr.

  • Great villain the old man of robocop II

  • watch the magic pumpkin

  • This is such an underrated film. GREAT film. It's sad people would rather see some CRAPPY ass sequels with Michael Myers than this masterpiece.

  • @e84fresh this film should have been labelled something else it is original and exceptionally frightening, brilliant film that had bad ratings cos mike myers aint in it

  • Quality film, great ending

  • someone explain to me Holloween 3 is different than the rest..?

  • @Evokes213 I think in Carpenter's eyes Halloween was never intended to have a sequel. Instead any follow up films would have a different plot, almost like a Twilight Zone movie series.

  • Over all I think this special edition upload was a waste of time and space. I prefer the regular edition with the extra long commercials and most of the gags left in. They even cut out the glowing Conel Cochran.at the end and it lost that awesome computer title screen in the beginning.

  • I THINK THAT SMILE SAID SOMETHING. IT SAID YOU KILLED ME BUT CAN YOU STOP THE COMMERCIAL

  • at lest hes not a sore loser

  • I love how amused Cochran is that Chalice was able to get the best of him.

  • @Leatherbubba Live by the sword, die by it, and Cochran knew that when he turned evil. It's all a game to him.

  • My second favorite Halloween movie in the series, which I agree should've been a standalone movie. Just "Season of the Witch" as many have said. So much of the style and score borrow from Carpenter though but it works again. It's damn creepy and suspenseful with some creative death scenes and an interesting take on the holiday. That commercial alone makes the hairs on my neck stand up. Brrr.

  • @gdwme The score for this movie doesn't borrow from carpenter, because HE actually did the score.

  • wtf can someone please explain what happened

  • great ending

  • @dRuss8706 "STOP IT!!!!!!!"

  • Its like the Friday the 13th TV series. It has little or nothing to do with Jason at all.

  • awesome

  • Obviously, Ellie was not a robot all along so how did Cochran put one together so quickly? And why bother?

  • Well the chick is made in china :D

  • MIND FUCKED!

  • Good movie! Some what frustrating ending though. Just watched the DVD, the words "the last halloween" wasn't in there. Weird.

  • @Jawsfan6 that would have been a better ending. aww man

  • This movie sucked, just like every one of them after the first movie.

Should have only been one, not 2, 3, 4 and so on.

  • The last halloween ? good movie bad ending

  • I wonder if Cochran has ever heard of running?

  • That's the guy in creepshow.......he plays the dad in the begining of the movie

  • I love this movie. I think the plot is pretty original and clever, and it's a nice break from the tired Michael Myers stuff. It captures the spirit of the season very well. Great movie to watch in October.

  • i dont care what ppl say about this movie, its a good scary movie right there. hell even i was more terrified when i saw this as a kid a few times

  • I hope they remake this. FEAR THE DEADLY POWER OF STONEHENGE.

  • @inferno232 i wouldnt care for a remake just not apart of the halloween series cause i love the rest of the halloween movies with michael

  • if this movie didn't get the unfortunate title of "Halloween III" it would be considered a horror classic. C'mon, the scene with the family in that room watching TV while the kids mask kills him. The whole plot is so far out, and the film making is 1980's greatness! And the heavy synth score! YES!

  • @kingv911 agreed

  • @kingv911 Yah the title really ruined the movie

  • @kingv911 Exactly!!!! And Tom Atkins....that just adds to the awesomeness of this film.

  • the reason why its called Halloween 3 is because it was suppose to be a series of movies that show twisted things that happens on Halloween . michael was dead in Halloween 2 but fans wanted him back, so they and more elements to the series, like SAM he in pure evil, stuff.

  • I just dont want something to be portrayed as Evil, when it actually was not.

  • I was indeed suprised by this movie, the plot was different and sinister. Actually pretty good flick. Having said that, I must say I was a little angry that they stretched the actual truth of Samhain (the ancient feast we all know as Halloween) It was a time of celebration and giving thanks to the earth, Not an EVIL ritual that sacrificed young children! The only thing they sacrificed, was a few cattle. AFTER they used their meat to feed the villagers.

  • @Cramererica For the most part you are correct, but there were child sacrifices only because they believed in giving up what they loved most to their god/goddess in order to appease them.

  • Movie isn't that bad but they should've just dropped the halloween 3 and just called it season of the witch

  • It's better than i thought it would be. I stopped watching after 20 minutes, cuz i thought it was boring, but then i decided to give it a chance. And i chose well. Good movie, although i still do prefer michael.

  • Where the hell are Sam and Dean Winchester when you need them....

  • @Wenchpie indeed LOL

  • @Wenchpie Hahahahahaha i say the same thing when i'm watching Pararnormal Activity....instead of calling a priest call Sam and Dean or make a freaking Devils Trap and send the bastids back to hell dumb asses!

  • If this wasn't called Halloween 3 it would just be a forgotten 80's horror movie. It not bad but I don't why they went in this direction with the movie. No Michael Myers....it isn't halloween.

  • @anthonyAJR

thank u, that makes total since!!!

  • People that nitpick over the reality of a sci-fi/horror film need a reality check for themselves. This is a fictional movie that's meant to entertain, not educate, you idiots. I saw this film nearly two decades ago and the Silver Shamrock tune was so catchy that it's stayed in my head this whole time. I enjoyed this movie all over again.

  • i think halloween iii was good, but the title was deceptive. surely the producer knew that tons of people would think that it was a sequel to halloween ii. even if one had never heard of haloween i and halloween ii, he likely would have assumed that halloween iii was a sequel to a movie called halloween ii. i think the titles should have been: "halloween: the boogeyman", "hallo-: the boogeyman lives", "hall-:season of the witch", "hall-: the boogeyman ( or myers ) returns, etc.

  • I honestly think they didn't stop the broadcast. By the time the jingle is where it is in the movie, I think the mask thing would've gotten activated and it would've been too late to stop it at that point.

  • @superstaff after that final scene, they should have had the main character meet with his uncle, dr. loomis, who would then say, "i guess the destruction of cochran and his factory brought an end to the spell on those masks, and that's why noone turned into bugs and snakes this halloween. samhain is a powerful force, and it affected cochran as well as michael myers. because myers and i survived the fire at the hospital, i feel that he and i are destined for more showdowns."

  • this is a little bit different than the version that i own. i own the double feature of 2 and 3 and this version is missing a few of the scenes. for example, at the end, it doesn't say the last halloween, or in here you don't see cochren get vaporized by the electrical beams. any idea why that is?

  • @kosmot199 If you notice in the title it says "special edition" well that means it's fourteen minutes shorter. Also, why are you watching this on youtube if you own it?

  • @cutchinz okay, so this is like the theatrical version of the film? like the 2 versions of RZ's Halloween and H2? and i just like to sometimes watch movies on youtube instead

  • @kosmot199 No it's the normal version just 14 minutes shorter lol

  • I'm surprised the other two tv stations actually listened to a guy that made a strange phone call and request, and actually stopped the flashing jack-o-lantern.

Do you think if I called CBS or the local tv station and told them to not air "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" by shouting, "STOP IT! STOP IT!! STOP IIIIT!!!", do you REALLY think they'd remove it from the air? No.

  • Crazy ass ending. Tom Atkins was really cool in this.

  • What the fuck? I wasted 90 minutes of my life for this shitty ending?!! =O

  • @metroidmaniac67 Then you're gonna hate about 90% of John Carpenters films because THEY ALL HAVE AN ENDING LIKE THIS! :P

  • @starkiller20293 not the first halloween

  • @Sammtastic365 It was a cliffhanger like this so yes.

  • his robots are cute guys i like them well one of thems.red head and the brown hair guy.

  • The thing about this is, right, is that Stonehenge has got nothing to do with Ireland, it's in Salisbury, England.

  • @GallagherWellerBrown in a way, we could say that stonehenge is in england. it is on land which is now called "england". nevertheless, it's clear that stonehenge was there before english people came to the land that is now called "england". it wasn't really "england" till the english moved there. stonehenge likely was used by the british people, who were part of the celtic group. about 1500 years ago, english people went to what is now called "england" and pretty much wiped out the british.

  • God I just cant get over how good the music is in this movie!!!! I fucking ♥ it!!!!

  • I feel like a moron for skimming this movie through youtube, that was a fantastic fucking ending, wow.

  • That was a good movie, not the best but still good.

And let's be honest, the only decent Michael Myers Halloween movies were the first two (originals) and possibly H20. the rest were balls - ESPECIALLY the remakes.

  • @Jermyn78

halloween 4 also kicked ass!!!!! BUT THEN THEY RUINED IT BY BRINGING IN THAT CULT CRAP IN 5 AND 6

  • Michael myers is in it but in a stupid way. When the guy is in the bar 20 mins in I think he looks up to the tv and it shows a trailer for Halloween 2

  • Are you sure that Carpenter never directed this, because this is his particular style...I don't say that Wallace was a muppet but seriously look at it closerly..

  • Heeeee. I wanna know how it ends. Can somebody tell me? ;o

  • what a sinister remote factory .

an ideal place to conduct mind experiments . this was a classic though

  • the blue ring of death

  • Seriously, people who come on here and comment 'Where is Michael Myers in this film' should be made to wear one of Cochrans masks and watch that commercial til bugs crawl out of their ass..seems to be the main orifice they talk out of

  • aww we dont get the CAR scene where he closes the car door :(

or the MASK Flipping to the camera scene :(

  • damn that was just great, i wish they came out with a sequel

  • the music for the credits is so awesome has anybody else noticed how music for films inst good these days i wish i was born in the 60s

  • This movie is sick; they should make a secound movie that shows what happens next.

  • @GrendelBoglin dude its not about to be imagtive with a happy ending its all about being sacryie and if that would happen yea bad guys would win yea at that tme it would have been sarcyie an to me funny ass hell

  • this score is amazing, tempting to buy it on itunes....

  • I liked watching all of the Halloween movies as a child, but as i got older i bashed this one heavily. For some reason I am revisited by it, and love the soundtrack and movie more. All of the sequels have plot holes and visible mistakes, but we forgo that to see the true vision of cinema that can never be replicated or imitated!

The ending seems so petrifying, I have to turn the volume down so I don't freak myself out... heh, heh!

  • great ending

  • Eh, boy.

I avoided this movie for 33 years. Why, oh why couldn't I have left good enough alone?!?!

  • Where's the shot of Cochran looking like a salt statue after getting zapped? :P

  • Did anyone catch that the overhead shot of the dead robots within the circle of tv monitors formed a miniature Stonehenge?

  • That was the best movie I've ever seen. Please don't ruin it by pointing out its countless plot holes and the fact that it made no sense whatsoever.

  • @bluestucco i think if the movie wasnt apart of the halloween series then i would like it but i wanted to see michael not some different story

  • @TheOriginalBadMofo Any Carpenter Halloween movie without Michael Meyers is a rip-off.

Although the inimitable Dan O'Herlihy kinda made up for it. Kinda.

  • @bluestucco - I won't point out that you're a fag either.

  • @Jtash81 I will point out that you're a fucking asshole who sucks cocks for a living and eats shit as a hobby.

  • @Jtash81 Yanni-Dance with a stranger? LOL I knew you were a queer.

  • What's so cool is that in the film, Halloween falls on a Sunday. This year it DID fall on a Sunday. But alas, no Silver Shamrock, no Conal Cochran, no killer masks.

  • sick ending

  • i could watch this all the time way better than most horror films out today lol

  • who the fucks gonna stay up til midnight just to see a damn commecial?

  • Best Horror Ending EVER

  • NOTE: the films ending yes is kinda bleak but you must remember there is probley many kids that survived thanks to the switching off of the first 2 channels plus consider all the familys that dont celibrate halloween or the ones that there parents wouldnt let stay up till 12:00 to see the comercial

  • @movieartman it was 9:00 the big giveaway was to be not 12:00

  • I JUST WATCHED THIS ON AMC LASTNIGHT! SERIOUSLY PPL WTF!! THIS HAD TO BE ONE OF THE WORST ENDING TO A MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN! WHY DID IT NOT END ON THE LOGICAL CLOSURE POINT WHEN HE BLEW UP THE FACTORY?!! AND WTF WAS THE POINT OF THAT ROBOT BITCH?!!! SERIOUSLY I HAVE WASTED 90 MINS OF MY LIFE TO THIS PIECE OF SHIT! THE ONLY POSITIVE THING I WILL SAY ABOUT IT WERE THE MASKS. I LIKED THE JACKOLANTERN ONE!

  • @TheDameofdarkness Well the AMC version is shit. They did a terrible job of editing it.

  • now see I love this film!! im a Big Tom Atkins fan and I thought this was diffrent then MM goin around slashin ppl. It was a good change!! Thnx for a Gr8 Post!!

  • @Fiftiesflashback if you look up 'crap' in the new dictionary, there is a picture of Rob Zombie's Halloween II.

  • It's actually not that bad of a movie on it's own. A lot of cheesy moments but the ending is just an awesome cliffhanger.

  • The story would have made more sense if it took place on the East Coast...maybe a little town in Massachusetts somewhere. Salem would be too obvious, of course, but near Boston somewhere. Then the time zone problem wouldn't be a problem. Maybe a few kiddies' heads would explode in the Maritime Province of Canada, but if it was on the East Coast it really would be a race against time. Great edit, snappy rather than languid pace, actually a bit of an improvement. Movie is Bulldada at its finest.

  • So...he lost?

  • Thanks for uploading this crazy flick. I haven't seen it in many years but I seem to remember many children with their heads exploding with snakes & crickets. I think I'd have preferred that, but whadya going to do? Dan O'Herlihy was a great actor, I loved his villains. I just wish that we could have seen more of him in this as well as in the Robocop flick. He was underrated as an actor. RIP.

  • im with somone else who mentioned, the atmosphere is more important than flow/ rhythm, i dont even want to watch a re-edit~

Movier rocks, yes no MM but who cares... not like there wasnt 50 more mm movies made, i would have prefered they did the whole diff halloween /story movie plot each year thing, if they would have all been as good as this or halloween 1, but then again they probally had bills to pay haha, this movie is wacked, fked and brilliant!

  • what the hell was this shit! this movie sucked! there wasn't one thing related to micheal myers

  • @misavendetta76 Oh but there was. The plot involved masks. It involved a Celtic occult, of which Michael Myers is part (see Halloween 6).

  • @ExplorerDS6789 thanx nut i already seen the 6th one ten times before i saw this and still i think this movie is a waste of time, money, and further all creativity. only thing I thought that was even remotely close to cool is the mask killing that kid and his braindead parents, but thanx anyway, really and sincerely for expllaining this to me. = )

  • Conal Cocharane biggest trick was not on the kids but on the adults who watched this movie thinking Micheal Myers was in this movie

Great movie some may not understand it, was not about a masked man stalking young teenagers. It was about a man that brought back the true meaning halloween, samharn the sacrfice of children on halloween.

  • Hadn't seen this in years! Thanks for uploading.

  • They way Corchan is looking at them and clapping it's like he's saying "you've done well, i'm impressed"

  • crazy. i cant believe they would want kids to die. good movie otherwise tho.

  • Might be professionally reedited, but it is professionally butchered too. There is a few details missing... Some were contributing to the strange mood of the film... The truth is that mood is more important than rythm.. This film is all about mood... Re-editing is ridiculous...

  • I liked how in the origional when Dan O'herlihy was being incinerated he had a big grin on his face while he was turning blue. I think it was a mistake not to include that scene here.Oh well, thanks for posting.

  • I liked how in the origional when Dan O'herlihy was being incinerated he had a big grin on his face while he was turning blue. I think it was a mistake not to include that scene here. Thanks for posting.

  • The most chilling ending of ANY Halloween movie, period.

No way of stopping the Apocalypse.

"STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT...!"

  • I remember i rented this movie on VHS from the video store, And i was happy thinking i was about to watch Michael Myers. I was eating my popcorn waiting on Michael Myers, Then after about 40 minutes into the movie i realized at that point that he wasn't in this movie. To say i was disappointed would be an understatement, But i went ahead and watched it anyway. The whole point of watching Holloween is to see Michael Myers this movie should have had a different title. I felt tricked!

  • @MrCovering Three idiots adore you.

  • Stacey Nelkin is on Facebook. I've talked with her a few times, she's very nice.

  • @ExplorerDS6789 Really? Damn!

  • i rate this film 10/10 as a social scientisit it scares me.

  • Really enjoyed this and was not expecting to due to numerous friends telling me that it was rubbish because Mike Myers was not in it. Very clever ending aswell, leaving it up to the viewers to decide whether the children were saved or not, I am going to go with no.

  • great movie until the stonehenge part and the bad guy death thats piss me off

and i don't care if michael myers was not in it , i was hoping that the boy head will explode or something like that !! not fucking snake and mosquitos shit !!!!!!

  • westworld meets term meets they live

  • This was a big waiste of my time and a disgrace to the the first two.

  • Wow the ending is just real powerful in my opinion

  • Thank's for posting this, I might watch this for this year's Halloween at my house along with a few other old horror movies.

Anyways this is great, if you ever have the time you should upload another horror movie.

  • this was a lot scarier than other Halloween movies. Screw Mike Myers!

  • Awww... they cut the part where he turns into a smiling snowman and he exploded, it happened around 2:00, LAME

  • Thank you for uploading this!! I have to admit, when i read Michael Myers wasn't going to be in this, I thought it would be lame. Actually i like it a lot!!! I'm going to have that commercial stuck in my head. I love the halloween series and this was a good change up. The actors were great. What a decent movie !!! <333

  • This is actually a very good movie, wish they wouldve followed through with carpenters original plan and made different villains then halloween wouldve been known for so much more iconic villains then just michael

  • Who has the highest body count?? Jason? Michael? Freddy? Chucky? Leatherface? No! Conal Cochrane killed hundreds (maybe thousands) of children and adults in just few seconds!!!! An intelligent killer!

  • @gmvelez May be, but in X Jason blew up an entire Space Coloney w/o even really doing anything, so therefore he still holds the most kills.

  • @airfoce2009 Yh but Kids all over the world are watching it their could be a few thousand or watever in X Jason but in this its like the hole of America Canada Uk loads of places

  • @gmvelez ok let me ask you this ...wasn't Cochrane the one that controlled what was going out on the tv ..the big giveaway was to be at 9:00 and them robots is what hit the bottons on that computer that played that commercial that was going to fuck up the kids with the mask on but the doctor destroyed them robots and that computer that was transmitting that single..so if all of that was destroyed how is that bad commercial still going out on those 3 channels

  • @gmvelez Damn straight bro!

  • i saw this movie once as a kid and never saw it again until today. I had no idea what it was called and when I tried to describe the masks and the flashing tv, no one knew what I was talking about. I think this movie freaked me out for life. I've never worn a halloween mask and I'm creeped out by any flashing things on tv.

  • This movie doesn't even earn the title "Halloween". This movie was completely different from the others and it wasn't even scary. Terrible movie in my opinion.

  • @leetmobile people including yourself i believe..thought michael myers was in it and were disappointed...the concept of the movie is amazing and never been duplicated...great movie concept..get over the mike myers thing...and see the movie for what it is...a great concept...

  • now this is one of those movies that I can truly call a horror movie, man this move gave me the creeps

  • I wanted to see Michael Myers not this crap ):

  • @Kevinsuperior13 shut up

  • Thanx for uploading this Matt.

  • hey why don't they make a good and awsome remake of this Halloween. and they should start doing more Halloween movies that don

    't involve Michael Myers.

  • one more thing o 3o "stone henge was a firen his lazar" XD

  • but this movie makes no sense 1. no micheal myers. 2. stone henge ???? 3.profit. 4.kill the kids with a wave from the t.v that makes their heads shrivel and have things come out of them. and 5. no one gives a crap about the give away XD

  • @shkmru2 The reason there no Michael myers is because John Carpenter wanted to do something different like a tales of the crypt or the twillight zone not just boring old Michael myers again and again

  • I said it once, I'll say it again, cult classic all the way......Am I the only tard who wants one of those masks?lol

  • @Ur2ez4me81 Well I want the pumpkin, lol

  • the ending was a cliffhanger the mobie shouldve started its own series of movies

  • they should have called this movie season of the witch ....and left out the name halloween since when you say the name halloween people think right away of michael myers so i think season of the witch would have be a great name fore this movie

  • this movie is badass

  • Now, what the FUCK is so special about a version

that's 14 minutes SHORTER than the original?!

    Stop smoking crack bro. LOL!
