@bobilator1 wrong, the trbo has different compression ratios, this allows for the turbo to work at a higher psi, those turbos need higher revs to hit the boost. sadly u probably dont understand anything about turbos and because u use words like lag and huge ur probably some dumb gamer who knows shit about cars

the supra is simply one of the most notorious street cars to take down bigger engine cars ever. the supra is a sleeper and never to be trusted because that engine and 6 speed tranny is so reliable and capable of withstanding a lot of power which is sadly overlooked and laughed at because it's a toyota and japanese. i've seen it take down saleens, lambos, ferraris etc even after 18 years the mk4 still has deserves its respect

The least powerful Mark 4 NA Supra put out 220 bhp with the turbocharged stock version getting 320bhp. And yes, it's quite possible to get over 1000hp out of these cars with a LOT of modifications and a huge turbo (or two!).

Supras are amazing hands down. i got an old 82 supra with a 5MGE 2.8L non turbo engine that i bought a year ago for $350 it had the piss beaten out of it and has 187,000 miles on it, yet i still beat stock camaros all the time and most recently i beat an 02 Mustang GT with flowmaster exhaust. im damn impressed with it!
