  • awesome!

wish I could play like that!

  • @RICKROLLBLENDER Maybe you can - or could! Or maybe you have the potential to be better!

  • This is a superb piece and you played it amazingly!!! Where abouts did you get the music for this as I'd love to have a go at this

  • @Seer73 I found it in a charity shop. I'm sure it must still be in print somewhere.

  • I *love* this!!!! Toccata has always been one of my favourite Sky pieces, so thank you, you are an inspiration!!! :-)

  • @ShedeasVideos Thank you for that - I'm glad you enjoyed it, and hope you didn't find it as wooden as the previous commentator!

  • @PSearPianist No, definitely not, I loved your rendition of Toccata! :-) Personally if I don't like something I go elsewhere. I don't see any point in negative criticism unless it's towards those who damage the environment or are cruel to animals etc. I believe it's as simple as this, that Symphynity would have been quieter if your recording had been louder ;-)

  • Whilst I enjoyed your ability to be able to play this most taxing piece , it was undoubtedly technically correct ,but , to my ears, it had a wooden feel to it. Obviously very hard to translate this piece to the piano, from the Grand Pipe Organ , to the modern feel of SKY, please relax , and get a feel for the piece.

but 100 out of 100 for hitting all the right notes!

(PS: I cannot read a note of music!).

  • @symphynity This is of course a piano transcription of the Sky version, and is not in any way an attempt to provide a transcription of Bach's original with reference to the Sky version. As the Sky version is quite mechanical in its rhythms, so must mine be!

  • Greetings from The Island of Borneo. I love the playing very much indeed. Where can I get the score for this arrangement? Thank you.

  • @mrhonestlyspeaking Thanks very much for the kind comment - the first I have ever had from Borneo, a place that we in the UK particularly associate with orangutans. I can't send you the music for copyright reasons, but I suggest you do Google searches on the title, and you may find it somewhere.

  • Hi folks, notice that if a reply is posted with number characters that represents a vid running time it moves the vid forward automatically to that chosen moment. I've found it by sheer chance. Just check it out!

  • Thanks for this great vid share! Ive specially enjoyed the movement played at 3:25 of this piece.

"Its like one of those poems that human language doesnt know how to qualify (One of Berlioz quotes on music)

  • @TheWolfjr Thanks for your most interesting comment and quotation, which I had not come across.

  • @PSearPianist In England apparently there has been a real revolution in the musical consciousness of the nation. We shall see! Hector Berlioz

  • A pleasure to listen to.

  • @Dclangers That's really kind. Thank you!

  • That is an excellent mix between Rock and Bach. Doing it solo on a piano is almost impossible! However - you did it wonderfully. Bravo!!!

  • @Babejuda Thank you very much. I hope this video will encourage others to play this arrangement.

  • Wow ! stupendous highly impressive gerundive .jannarta.

  • @jannarta Thank you!

  • @2Rain2 Thank you very much!

  • It was marveluos. I've never heard this piece on piano. It's great that I heard it first from you.

  • @diasdm Thank you! I have never heard it anywhere else on piano, but I think it works very well.

  • I would be surprised if this made any impact on the charts of 2010....but then again I remember being surprised the first time round!!

Thanks for the memory and the great rendition. It looks tricky....

  • @pjdonagh Thank you. I think this could be popular in any era - it is a really clever reworking.

  • ♫ ♥ ♫ A great piano piece, beautifully played as usual. It reminds me of Disney's Fantasia. ♫ ♥ ♫

  • @Pianopod Thank you!
