@PSearPianist No, definitely not, I loved your rendition of Toccata! :-) Personally if I don't like something I go elsewhere. I don't see any point in negative criticism unless it's towards those who damage the environment or are cruel to animals etc. I believe it's as simple as this, that Symphynity would have been quieter if your recording had been louder ;-)
Whilst I enjoyed your ability to be able to play this most taxing piece , it was undoubtedly technically correct ,but , to my ears, it had a wooden feel to it. Obviously very hard to translate this piece to the piano, from the Grand Pipe Organ , to the modern feel of SKY, please relax , and get a feel for the piece.
but 100 out of 100 for hitting all the right notes!
@symphynity This is of course a piano transcription of the Sky version, and is not in any way an attempt to provide a transcription of Bach's original with reference to the Sky version. As the Sky version is quite mechanical in its rhythms, so must mine be!
@mrhonestlyspeaking Thanks very much for the kind comment - the first I have ever had from Borneo, a place that we in the UK particularly associate with orangutans. I can't send you the music for copyright reasons, but I suggest you do Google searches on the title, and you may find it somewhere.
Hi folks, notice that if a reply is posted with number characters that represents a vid running time it moves the vid forward automatically to that chosen moment. I've found it by sheer chance. Just check it out!
awesome!
wish I could play like that!

@Seer73 I found it in a charity shop. I'm sure it must still be in print somewhere.

Greetings from The Island of Borneo. I love the playing very much indeed. Where can I get the score for this arrangement? Thank you.

That is an excellent mix between Rock and Bach. Doing it solo on a piano is almost impossible! However - you did it wonderfully. Bravo!!!

I would be surprised if this made any impact on the charts of 2010....but then again I remember being surprised the first time round!!
Thanks for the memory and the great rendition. It looks tricky....
