  • 3) of 3. There were 600,000 Jews here. From this time though the 40 years in the desert & then into Israel, THEY PROBABLY WERE TAUGHT EVERY JEWISH LAW AND CUSTOM 200 TIMES by Moses and his Judges!! IT WAS PASSED THROUGH THE GENERATIONS till today & CERTAINLY THE RABBIS KNEW IT AS DID EZRA THE SCRIBE!!! So the Oral law clearly came from Moses & is the same as the Written law. The Mesorah!!! Jews observe the Torah following the Oral law thereby FULLFILLING the written law!

  • 2) of 3 In the KJV; 18:16 Moses said: "When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws." see the words "AND HIS LAWS". ethro said 18:20 "And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do." 18:26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

  • 1) of 3 Just so you know; these videos are put up & controlled by Messianics (if u don't agree with them, they'll block ur posts. That's why if you seriously want to find the truth, u need to ask a competent, ordained Jewish Rabbi. The 'Mesorah' or Jewish Oral law xplains & makes sense of the Torah. Xtian's say that as the Rabbis invented the Oral law. The origin & perpetuation of Oral law in the Old Testament from the of Moses is there. It's in 'Jethro', in 'Exodus'.

  • Another thing-animals were only slaughtered in place of humans in unintentional sins that the penalty was excision or worse. In many cases an animal wouldn't do it. Only the person himself could die for his sin, and not as a sacrifice. Meaning, jesus died for his own sin, not anyone else's. For example, he ate bread on passover, acc. to the original Greek. Or disrespecting the stages. Or cursing trees that didn't give him fruit. Or encouraging his students to break Shabbat etc...

  • Na'ar is a very specific term referring to the time around puberty. You have to understand a language on its own terms not what works for you.

Before I get sucked into the Isaiah 53 argument again, the same old beaten path where Xtians are distorting passages and ignoring context, I have to remind you that human sacrifice has NO place in Judaism, and that's what we're discussing w/ j. Avraham didn't sacrifice Yizhak, Yiftah was condemned for his daughter. Other Tanakh examples show it's bad.

  • You will have to clarify. According to Western Christians (Catholic, Protestant) man is tainted with Original Sin (unless you argue with Augustine). Using the work youth means there is a point in the child's life without sinfulness, and sinfulness, or rather the propensity toward it, comes later in life. Remember when Cain came to kill Abel G-d warned him I know you're capable of killing but don't do it, BTW, Find me a source, OT, where one person can redeem someone else's sins.

  • clarify? i was refering the passage you sited. Using the word "youth" means youth. The only thing that can be implied from this passage is that mankind is sinful BEFORE they are adults. ***as for source where somebody can redeem another's sins? Try Isaiah 53 for starters, it doesn't get any more clear than that. Did you miss the entire point of the sacrificial system of the temple and atonment? The animal was SLAUGHTERED in the place of the human who rightfully diserved it. Praise God for mercy

  • original sin is undeniable. If what Adam and Eve did had not brought sin and death to the entire human race, God would not have ceased to have fellowship with them, and he would not have kicked them out of Eden. Also, if Adam and Eve were just responsible for their own sin, and had not transferred a curse of sin to all mankind, their children would have been allowed to enter into Eden. Man was not naturally a sinner until the serpent beguiled them, before that, they were innocent and pure

  • @apologeticsman The Torah already listed what the punishments were for Adam and Eve's sin. Where are you getting that there was another level to it? Many anthropologists have argued that Man was better off hunting and gathering and enjoying the rest of the day.

As far as people being locked out of Heaven, how could G-d give the Torah, tell them they would be rewarded for the mitzvot, and then lock them out of Heaven when they did what they were supposed to do?

  • @uncletomful Original sin is not a punishment, it is a fact of life. If Adam and Eve were held responsible completely for their sin, then the rest of mankind would still be allowed to live in Eedn and would still be able to walk with God. Adam and Eve's transgression closed up paradise for all mankind, and put a rift between us and God that only the Messiah can repair. Mankind can not be in God's presence as a sinner, we need Jesus to cover our sins eternally so that we can be in heaven with God

  • @apologeticsman So the events at Mt. Sinai never happened? G-d never spoke to the Jews at Sinai? G-d's presence didn't descend in Solomon's Temple? There were never prophets that G-d spoke to during the First Temple period? Those sound like very close encounters with G-d.

If only jesus' death can help people get to heaven, then why does it matter what we do? Why do people suffer?

  • yes, those events took place. When we say sin can not be in God's presence, we mean directly, as in heaven. As you note, God almost always communicated through some sort of mediator, whether it be an angel, or a pillar of smoke or a burning bush or a prophet, when God communicates with people, it is never directly. In one place, it is said that to see God means instant death, and the reason for that is that God is holy. For someone to enter into His eternal presence, they would have to be holy

  • Mr. Hoax I don't want to accuse you of any type of intellectual dishonesty or silencing criticism, but I noticed on a few of the videos you posted that I commented on you disabled comments. Is that so I can't answer your objections? Are you in fact conceding that you can't defend Mike Brown? It certainly sounds like it. Please I'm enjoying our chat please open up the floor.

  • please be specific. i have not intended to close any comments section under videos, only on landing page of profile. if that is the case, i will change it to open, but please tell me which one you are having problems with, it might be your computer. also, i only block individuals who start putting out more insults than points and arguments, etc.

  • you're right. the responsibility for since is on each individual. but if i get a parking ticket and a friend wants to go BEYOND their own responsibility and pay my debt for me, that is act of love. *Interesting how you use the passage about Sinful from Youth to get off the hook. i don't think you can make that declaration from that passage. not so clear to me! It more likely infers that EVERYBODY is sinful from an early age. So what are you doing about your sins?

  • this is a dangerous man.

  • sure, if what he is saying is not true, i would also consider him dangerous. if what he is saying is accurate, you might be in a dangerous place separated from God and not pardoned from your sins.

  • try my user profile for the full response! (if you want an honest answer)

  • Glad he mentioned man is created in G-d's image. G-d says "be holy for I the Lord am holy." How can G-d command such a thing if man is inherently sinful?

A person only responsible to atone for their sins not other people's sins.

After the Flood it says man is sinful FROM HIS YOUTH-meaning that before their youth they aren't, as children. He lied about what the Torah said. Never said all their actions are evil. He must be happy people don't read. Not like Christians.
