Algalon is finaly killed, whole raid group crowded around Rhonin speaking about Titans and so on ... after that, sky becames again as usual ... u r riding around on ur Mammoth, chatting with guildies, and listening to this master piece. Although my heart is much more attached to TBC due it ware these days of learning the game, still has to admint ... WotLK wasnt so bad at all :)

haha ahh... Dalaran. The city of mystery until Wrath... The city of countless possibilities, from portal hubs, to trainers of every profession, to running laps around with your buds on mammoths.... This city was complained by many, saying it wasn't the same feel as Shattrath City... But we all know we would have this city be the hangout once more if it were to float into Twilight Highlands..

God i still remember my best wow moments like it was yesterday.Playing wow while stoned and going to dalaran, i remember just listening to the music and drifting away.

I still miss it, alot. But i know it would never be the same, the people i played with have moved on and so have i.Cataclysm just doesen't appeal to me.

all good things must come to an end, i guess.It's a shame tho, it really is..

@stgron2rules well actually most high-end computers had lag problems in dalaran, it was the servers fault as they couldnt handle the amount of stress put on them by the abundance of people in Dalaran AND all the effects in it.

WoW was made to be played on crappy computers so your argument is doubly invalid.

I really miss WOTLK. It was not the hardest time thinking of Raiding and stuff, but i really enjoyed it.

Some Groups are still wiping at LK 10/25 HC at lvl 85 - enough said.

The classic-world-remake was great, but everything else was just crap in my oppinion.

Everytime i visit Dalaran or listing to this song, i wish WOTLK would come back. It was awesome! :(

The idea behind Cata not having a passive city is that the theme for Cata is open war. The Alliance and Horde are at each others throats, the need for unity died with the Lich King.

I agree that it is inconvenient. I hate having to travel as much as i do now... but it does add feeling to the Cata theme... desperation.

dalaran = dalalag, but i still hate to have no hub city with portals and such. You may say it'd be overly laggy, but look at Org and SW nowadays, they have worse lag then dal for me, and thats alot since i was in dal on a medium server, and in org on a low server. IMO, cata would be better if it had a hub city like dal, dal was the best place to be in WoTLK.

Dalaran is funny cuz there are really ALOT of people you cant get bored cuz there is much to do there like arena * begin WOTLK * Wintergrasp and Battlegrounds you can train your proffisions, talk to people, Violet hold ... You can go parachute* or levitate * from the violet hold tower hmm what more .. ow yes you can walk circels through the dalaran streets... aaaah well sad we are going to leave dalaran in cataclysm but eeey the city laggs also as hell !

The Nightelves lose ALOT in Cata. Ashenvales becomeing partial Horde, Darkshores shattered, its crazy. but the Alliance also gain bases in the Barrens

You wouldn't even be able to enter Northrend, if you didn't upgrade your account. If you meant the previous location of Dalaran which I think was in Hillsbrad or Arathi Highlands, you would only see a large crater. The crater is something you must see in World of Warcraft before you even think of quitting World of Warcraft as well as other stuff that take your breath away....
