Tired of checking tire pressure? Try Quick Pressure tire pressure monitor caps (available from PSI 26 to PSI 165). Just replace your valve stem caps with the monitors, then the monitor will show green if the tire is properly inflated, otherwise it will start to show red. The monitors are welded, chrome plated brass, high quality.
shock it cant be ... i have a scooter and on it if i had a flat or low back tire or front u sense a big resistence to move ... but on older bikes or scooter beside despre need of grease on chain or low presure it can be the brakes are stuck on semi-open position and they brake but not fully ... i got that if i brake too hard whit back when it was use and need to change ...
is this for real do people actually ride without having the right pressures. . some of the comments make you wonder how long these people will be alive for ..
Great video man. I had a ninja 250 and on that bike if the tires needed air I could tell as I would sorta, kinda, float around on the freeway and it would be less stable.
I've taken my helmet on probably ten flights, They usually want me to pull out of the bag and show it to them, but otherwise they give me very lil trouble.
good little hint there. And I saw where you put your ipod and that's a great idea. i'm guessing you use velcro to keep it there? I always hate wehn i can't skip songs becuse it's in my jacket. It'd be cool to see a ride in downtown chicago too :) Take it easy.
Every afternoon here the sky turns orange and yellow in the rainy season. Rains for 30mins, thens it's a wonderful sunny day again....... GO ATLAS, get on a Virago, i ride a 400 Virago, that last video you made on your mums one was great ;-)
Sweet vid, good idea to bring the camera along with for the lighting, cool effect. Take some footage in Chicago again! :) Planning on going downtown this time?
@AtlasRider I read an article in MCN (the US mag, not the Euro one) where the researched and found that riding with daytime brights might actually be less safe. Their reasons included that it makes drivers look away and that it shrouds the bike making it less identifiable. I ride with low beams during the day for those reasons and I hate blinding anyone. When riders behind me have the brights on, I can't look in the mirror, so it seems less safe that way too.

I have flown with a helmet many times and have never had any trouble.

I took my helmet through airport security last week. No problem getting it through security, but it won't fit in the overhead of a Regional Jet.

Friends have been refused by my friends, but I've never had a problem.

I've brought my full face helmet along with me in my carry on bag a couple of times. No raised eyebrows or questions asked.

Hi Atlas,
Do you always ride with the "long" light on ?
Is that normal in the US?
Hope you know what I mean by "long" light, I do not know whats its called in english :-)
I ride a similar bike in Denmark :-)

I think you mean "brights" or "high beam". I ride with it on during the day. More chance that a car will see me.

The best piece of safety equipment I ever added to my bike was a headlight modulator. They really get people's attention
